Description
The new Britney Spears fragrance from the popular Fantasy collection comes out in early 2017 as Fantasy in Bloom. The new version is dedicated to the spring-time, inspired by cherry orchards in bloom, a “captivating daydream” and the warm, luminous rays of spring sun.
The floral – fruity composition includes top notes of berries, green mandarin and Sakura cherry blossom. The heart of the fragrance is composed as a bouquet of white flowers like osmanthus, vintage jasmine and tuberose. The base features warm notes of Australian sandalwood, Madagascar vanilla and amber. The scent “captures a moment of pure enchantment when the world is full of possibilities and everything seems new.”
The fragrance is available in January 2017 as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDT.

A blind buy from Burlington for 6.99! The bottle is cute. The scent is not. Starts off a weak but pleasant cherry blossom floral scent then turns into public bathroom soap. Wouldn’t recommend this one unless you are a Britney bottle collector.

I am very impressed that this is a genuine Cherry blossom fragrance not an artificial mix of cherry and floral notes. However it is too light for my liking.

This smells a lot like a perfume I already own. Ultra Sexy Heart from Avon. Its sweet with cherry blossoms. I prefer Avons, it just has something to it that make it smell better. I find myself smelling myself and thinking “yum” when I smell it. Fantasy Blossom lacks that which really gives the other one that quality of wanting to keep smelling it. Longevity & sillage are good but I prefer my Avon perfume so I will not be rebuying this.
@HannahNori- Id think you were cool if I walked by and smelled this on a 60 year old. I think people should wear what they like. Ill still be wearing my original Fantasy when im 60.

This was a blind buy. I bought Passion in Bloom off of Fragrancenet. Two to be precise. Although the first box I opened had some slight leakage (which can be remedied with sealing the bottom of the neck with tape and not tilting the bottle any. Even some glue maybe?), I do not regret it. At all.
Being a fan of cherry blossoms, I became interested pretty much instantly when I discovered it on Kohl’s website. I was a little disappointed that it was not available with a sample in store (as of the post date of this review, it’s not) and that it was only available in 50ml. So then I ordered 2 100ml bottles off of Fragrancenet and just got it today.
The smell to this is very light and fresh. You can definitely smell the cherry blossom and vanilla notes in it, too. This also reminds me of that scent you sometimes get when you walk out of the shower. It’s not a very strong scent, but it’s subtle enough to where you can still smell it. The smell is so calming, and you can definitely get enough sweetness from this fragrance.
When to wear it? Whenever you want. It works for day and night. It is definitely not a scent that is bound to an age. In other words, there is no minimum or maximum age for this scent. I will also mention that this fantasy line scent stands on it’s own. It’s completely unique in the scent department. I actually kind of wish that this scent had it’s own bottle, a completely different bottle from the fantasy line.

Love this one! The berries really shine and smells nothing like bbw Japanese cherry blossom if that worries you. Only problem is it wears close to your skin and doesn’t last very long for a Britney fragrance

Fantasy In Bloom is so girly, innocent & fresh. It smells like cherries, soft florals & powdery notes. It is sweet but nowhere near as sweet as Fantasy.
I can imagine a young woman on a beautiful Spring day in a park, eating cherries, sipping lemonade & surrounded by the most delicate flowers. She knows she is an adult but still playfully wears a pink ribbon in her hair.
Fantasy In Bloom is girly, romantic, fun and clean. It lasts around 2-3 hours on my skin and has soft sillage.
Another hit from Britney, the perfect fragrance for spring. I highly recommend!

I also really wanted to love this but I don’t love in bloom. It’s very watery with little staying power. It feels rushed to me and more of a room candle/spray but it isn’t. It would be office friendly to wear.

Fantasy In Bloom is so incredibly pretty, the first floral from Britney Spears since Curious which was launched in 2004.
To my nose Fantasy in Bloom is predominantly sweet cherry blossom on a bed of vanilla and red berries. This is a very soft and delicate scent perfectly suited to Spring and Summer. It also wears quite clean on my skin, somewhat reminiscent of a cherry blossom scented shower gel or soap.
Fantasy In Bloom is not as sweet as a majority of the Fantasy line, it’s also much softer in terms of projection. Sadly on my skin Fantasy In Bloom does not last. For the first two hours it was incredibly soft and by the third hour it had vanished. The poor lasting power may be due to the fact that Fantasy In Bloom is an EDT whereas a majority of Britney’s Fantasy scents are EDPs.
Had this fragrance been slightly longer lasting I may have added Fantasy In Bloom to my collection. At present point in time I am admittedly enjoying Maui Fantasy a little more so I feel that I may just purchase the latter. I am however very impressed with this flanker and super pleased that it smells nothing like the original Fantasy.

this smells like cherryade to me which is actually quite nice but i didn’t purchase this one. while i love britney & her scents i have had/have them all (apart from the rener edition) & some of them don’t hit the mark for me, this was one of them. while its different from her others the lasting power (like a few of her other scents) is shortly lived on me. this along with island fantasy, maui fantasy & private show do not last on me. i tried this a few times but it was underwhelming for me & i couldn’t get more than an hour lasting power so i passed. not a bad scent by any means but nothing groundbreaking for me I’m afraid.

Previous reviewers have mentioned it and I’m sure tons more after me will mention it…yes, it has a shampoo-ish type of vibe going on. But to be honest…this is actually quite unique! I’ve never smelled a perfume that smelled quite like this.
It’s very up front! It smells like a 3-way mixture of a very floral Jasmine, the red berries, and the Japanese cherry blossom. And yes – the Japanese Cherry Blossom has a very “Bath & Body Works Vibe” going on. But it works. It smells clean. It’s a very calming smell if you know what I mean. Last month I received Britney’s Maui Fantasy in the blue floral bottle and I must say…I really enjoy that one, but this one is even better.
Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and JLO are HANDS DOWN running the celebrity fragrance show these days. Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, even Beyonce and Katy Perry, really should take notes from those three and their teams. Somehow…Britney never lets us down. Everything she releases…is very impressive. What really impresses me about this as well is it’s versatility. Even if I tried my damn hardest, I couldn’t pin a target age group with this fragrance. I can literally see a 15 year old wearing this…as well as a 40 year old. It’s THAT much of a crowd pleaser. Very clean, very relaxing…gorgeous and feminine. Not a “heady” type of floral, not a sugar bomb like we see so often, and not sticky or cloying either. It’s really a great versatile scent that anyone can try!

It’s quite a good fragrance. I am not surprised that Britney’s fragrances are good, but what surprises me is that it’s much better than expensive designer fragrances.
Very nice, a little bit sweet and a bit tart, really lovely shampooish cranberry scent. I would actually wear it.

I’m happy with this new Fantasy flanker – it reminds me very much of the red berries and tuberose in Radiance, combined with BBW’s Cherry Blossom. Very sweet and pleasant for spring/summer, with nothing to offend the senses or overpower. I’m a bit puzzled, though, as to why this was a Fantasy flanker and not a Radiance flanker – it’s definitely better than Cosmic Radiance, which is pleasant but mostly forgettable.
Oh, and the bottle is lovely.

I just got this version of Fantasy and I’m loving it!!! This is such a great fruity/floral scent. It’s not too sweet like some fruity perfumes, and the floral notes are subtle, so it’s definitely not too floral either. I’m not a fan of floral perfumes in general, but I do tend to like Cherry Blossom scents because they are sweeter. I’ve always loved the regular Cherry Blossom from BBW and this one reminds me of that a little, without it being the same. They’re definitely different, but the same type of scent.It also reminds me a little bit of Country Apple form BBW. Maybe a mix of the two. This one did not disappoint. So glad this was added to the Fantasy lineup. On a side note I wish they kept the bottles uniformed w/ the little crystals, but alas I’m sure this bottle was cheaper to put out. But that’s okay, the main thing is the perfume smells great. I definitely recommend this one for anyone who likes cherry blossom scents.

I was so sad when I learned Escarda, Cherry in the air, was discontinued, but now I have this one. They´re very similar.
I sprayed it on 5 hours ago and I can still smell it. And
I´ve cooked dinner and done the dishes by hand.
Needless to say that I´m a happy camper 😀

I decided to try this, after hearing from a few reviewers that it was supposedly similar to my Fragrant Unicorn, Escada’s nowaways inpossible to come by Cherry In The Air.
I went into the store to try, hopes high as Britney’s last two fragrances were stunning editions to her line……
Oh my god I LOVE IT! Cherry blossom goodness in a bottle, it’s a floral delight with juiciness right beside it. At the beginning, it’s kind of smells like Maui Fantasy, but later becomes a new and beautiful fragrance in its own right. If there’s anyone out either looking for a cherry blossom fragrance for their wardrobe, this could be a good one to try out! Also a good starter fragrance for those interested in checking out Britney’s collection.

Beau-ti-ful. I was fearing that it would lean detergenty, as a lot of cheapies that feature floral notes tend to do. Not the case. It doesn’t resemble Fantasy that much, really, though if I put my mind to it I can see the relation to Fantasy Intimate Edition, mostly.
Fantasy In Bloom has this nice berry note that reminds me of La Petite Robe Noire EdP with all of the, well, Noire taken out of it, leaving just this soupy, simmery kind of berriness (that I also identified in Insolence, by the way). There is a bit of an Escada vibe going on here as well, Ibiza Hippie comes to mind.
This fragrance is not green in the least, the floral aspect reads very pink to me. Pink and breezy, but absolutely no cotton candy – it is less sweet than most Fantasy flankers. A pleasant soft sillage choice for spring.

This left me saying meh… really nothing exciting about this one. It’s nice but I don’t smell much cherry blossom. I get a lot of basic berries and a little jasmine. I agree it smells like a shampoo. I expected it to smell a little more fresh.

Very good for a cherry blossom scent. It’s not watery and insipid like most cherry blossoms. It has a lovely shampoo scent which is nothing special but still very nice. I was hopeful about it being a good fragrance for me when I first sprayed it, but it quickly turned into a skin scent which is no good for me. Sigh…

I love Fantasy in Bloom i bought a 20 ounce sample and tried it today after i got it in the mail. it smells so fresh and clean with a slight creaminess from the Vanilla and Amber…you can totally use Japanese Cherry blossom shower gels and body lotion with this…they are not exactly the same but since they are both light and have floral and cherry blossom as notes they can blend together well. I want to whole bottle i hope i can get it before spring starts this is PERFECT for spring..I have been wearing original heavy Fantasy all through fall and winter but this is the fantasy that smells like spring.

First impressions. In Blossom is softer than any of the others from this line. The only similarity I get with Maui is the printed bottle. Here the red berries are soft and not as sweet as Radiance. Tuberose can be a monster but here is quite tame. Again, that also reminds me of Radiance but this is more of a JLO without any musk. Good because Radiance is one of my least favorites. As for the Cherry Blossom itself? Feels like it sets the tone for all the other notes and accords. It isn’t very floral nor what you think of as a Floral Fruity. It’s all about a soft pink scent. Again Britney’s Fantasy explores something a bit more demure or mature. It’s a Fantasy Flanker in name but really that is the extent of it. I could see this being marketed as an Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cherry Blossom. Our girl is growing up and probably wants to attract some of her followers who are as well. Calming and light. Unlike Island Fantasy I can smell this one.

This is for the hard core circle that have all or almost all Britney Spears fragrances. She is the Queen of gourmand and all fumes sweet. My bottle arrives from Kohls today. Have no idea how it smells and guess that really doesn’t matter. She hasn’t dropped her standards nor lost her perfume game. This line is among my Top 4. It is only one of three I’ve purchased retail. Chanel and White Diamonds Night being the other two that I got direct online from retailers. That is trust not even blind. I never bought JLO online direct or full retail but I DID fork out significantly more at $50 for 1.7 oz. of JLuxe because it’s so rare and was the only missing piece. Even without a proper review I feel this speaks volumes. After all, I now have 382 bottles of various fragrances. Don’t let them shame you on Britney. It’s also Elizabeth Arden and they rule.

Smells mainly of cherry blossom and red berries. It’s simple but I quite enjoy it. Fresh and pretty. Perfect for spring time.
I found it quite reminiscent of Viva La Juicy almost! The berries are quite similar in their aspects of juiciness and brightness.
Longevity is decent and so is sillage. I’m pleased!

I used to feel like Britneys fragrances were quite good but the last couple of offerings have just been average. Nothing bad about them just a bit meh. I collect them so I feel obligated to purchase but if it had have been any other brand I would’ve given it a miss.

I love this but it has no staying power on me ladts 1 hr if that as useless as island fantasy. Looks like the days of the strong long lasting fantasy perfumes are long gone. I also wish she would leave the bottles alone they were better with the rhinestones for me personally.

This is a more mainstream, simplified Maui Fantasy or Pinkprint. Pretty, but not as complex. The printed bottle I’m not too crazy about like I am with the plain bottles with the rhinestones.

My favorite Britney perfume! This is a gorgeous sweet, floral, and fruity scent. I was worried that it would smell like Japanese Cherry Blossom from B&BW, which I am not a fan of, but it does not smell like that at all. It doesn’t really smell like a cherry blossom to me at all. It’s light, sweet, and slightly fresh. This is a great perfume for spring and summer but can obviously be worn in winter for a pick-me-up fragrance. The sillage and longevity are excellent, and I don’t need to spray very much to have a scent that will be office appropriate while lasting the entire day. I found this at Kohl’s (I’m not sure where else it’s currently being sold). You need to smell this! 🙂

Got to test this at Kohls today and I got to say it smells like a light fruity slightly floral shampoo or soap, kinda like herbal essence. By no means does this smell like realistic red berries to me but it is definitely very pleasant and fresh. It also doesn’t quite smell like Bath and body works cherry blossom either. It has light sillage and a decent Longevity and dries down to a very light sweet skin scent. Btw the bottle is super adorable.

I was not initally happy she went back to the Fantasy line when I saw Britney had a new fragrance. I figured we would get a flanker to Private Show or a all new fragrance. While “In Bloom” is another in the fantasy line it is nothing like any of the fantasy fragrances. Intimate and Rocker Femme had the same smell as fantasy just their own small scent note Tweeks. Stage and anniversary were not different at all just packaging specialitys. In Bloom is 100% unique as was Maui Fantasy. In Bloom is a floral and has a beautiful sweet body to the fragrance. A lot of people are worried or comparing it to Bath and Body works Japanese cherry blossom as this fragrance has a cherry blossom body and notes. NOTHING at all like BBW Japanese cherry blossom. This has its own unique spin. I will also say while it is in the Fantasy “family” it holds nothing from the original Fantasy smell. If anything there is a hint of Private Shows warm coffee brûlée notes in the very ending dry down. For this to be a perfume it doesn’t hold up well. It needs to be applied heavily but it has a clean sheer smell. Not abrasive or stuffy at all.

I’ve been waiting for this to be added on here; I smelled it a week or two ago at Kohl’s but couldn’t place all the notes. To me at first spray it smells a lot like apple juice, and the dry-down is a very dry, synthetic floral. Not a bad smell, but not a particularly outstanding perfume. I think you could probably get a better bang for your buck just buying Bath & Body Works’ Japanese Cherry Blossom. I’m afraid In Bloom is just another flanker that tarnishes what used to be a diverse and creative line of fragrances. It’s okay, but if you want a really nice Fantasy perfume I recommend spending your money on Intimate Fantasy or Hidden Fantasy.
