hmmmmm i just sprayed this after reviewing many aquatics.. and i was happy to smell it ..i said hmmmmm nice.. apricoty peachy.. plumy..vanillaic.. sweetish.. powdery.. light yet sensual ..and mellow ..and almost like the skin of fuzzy peaches ..the manderine makes want to jump out and sing ..its a beautiful serene perfume.. skin scent ..stays close to you.. comforting you.. a famine.. dreamy.. perfume.. reminds me of jill sander sensations ..its a bit fruity.. a bit floral y.. a bit musky..a bit amber y.. a bit exotic.. a bit fresh ..a bit mesmerizing ..alot dreamy..
i think i am just in love with passionfrute and with manderines.. so the combination here is whats wining me over ..although i am not the easiest person to fall for any perfume.. it smells like candle wax.. a bit like the body shop astsuna burner oils a bit….on my skin it turns warm.. sensual ..and very peachy.. aprecoty ..and powdery.. the plum ads depth.. and the passionfrute makes it passionate.. and yummy.. the manderines brighten everything up.. and enliven the entire composition ..the vanilla binds everything together in harmony..
a simple pleasurable cozy perfume that’s just right for cozy cuddly nights in with a cup of hot coca watching your favorite romantic movie

Nothing exceptional. Pretty floral. Bought thinking it was the Faconable I first discovered in the 90’s. It wasn’t. I think this is a different fragrance altogether.

It is a delicate soft floral with a creamy powdery element (probably gardenia/peony/vanilla effect). Sillage is weak, it is a close to skin scent. Not offensive, not overpowering, not strong at all, and I find the “roasted garlic” description very unfair !! come on, GARLIC???

Talk about a difference in body chemistry!
Faconnable Femme is, for me, a delicate floral. The fruit notes at the opening are obvious, but not overly sweet. The peony is sweet, of course, but here it acts as a pretty serving tray for the fruit.
Then the florals come up VERY nicely…..especially the gardenia. So warm and creamy. They slowly morph into a gorgeous musk and vanilla, with just a hint of the plum.
This fragrance stays close to my skin. A lovely and comforting scent that lasts for about five or six hours.
Its one of my favorite quiet pleasures…..I love it.

This is more oriental that floral….warm and sweet!
Lovely fragrance for colder weather!

It’s familiar, tradtional, and a bit common. It’s heavy. The musk and vanilla cloud all of the other notes. The peony and plum are also very strong here too. None of the white flowers and heliotrope I was so eager to experience.
Just not for me…

It smells sweet and strong, but not bad There`s alot of vanilla, alot of musk, but there`s something I don`t like, disturbing, like garlic… Something old, something modern, a strange combination. At work, the girls love it, I`m not so excited, it`s too much for me.
