These notes remind me of Le Jardin, and the era is on target for that form of competition.
I wonder if Darling was rather forgettable by comparison? ( The ad copy for Le Jardin – featuring Jane Seymore – was certainly more compelling than this! )
One thing for certain, this Faberge bottle is absolutely sweet, fitting the name of “darling” ~ no matter what the scent!
