Zelugsblals – :
I received a sample of Expedition along with my order of several other Ajmal fragrances. As much I like/love all the others in my order…well, let’s just say that I don’t care for this one.
What do I get out of this scent? Expedition opens with a pleasant blast of citrus (bergamot), some fruitiness and an aromatic-oceanic vibe that momentarily reminds me of Invictus in a sport flanker version. To me, this is the best phase in the life of this fragrance. However, this vibe lasts only seconds and is fleeing at best. A short while later I perceive a generic floral accord, some violet, a fair-shake of powder and perhaps a touch of woods.
Expedition lasts about 4-hours on my skin and projects moderately. This scent is all about generic flowers and powder. Moreover, there is a sour undertone that is baked into this fragrance…and I don’t like it. Ajmal makes some great fragrances, as mentioned, but Expedition is not one of them. Other than imprisoned rapists and murderers, few men truly deserve to be forced to wear this scent.
