Description

Calvin Klein launches a new fragrant pair ETERNITY NOW that will appear on the market in July 2015. 27 years after the original Eternity, and the year after Eternity Night editions new flankers com out: addictive and sparkling floral for women and lickable oriental – fougere version for men.

Eternity Now For Women is signed by perfumer Ann Gottlieb and created of litchi, and quince sorbet, with the heart of peony, peach blossom and neroli petals. The base includes cashmere, ambrox and musk. The fragrance is available in bottles of 30, 50 and 100 ml EDT.

After last year’s advertising faces Christy Turlington and Ed Burns, the new campaign is starred by another real-life couple – models Jasmine Tookes and Tobias Sorensen. The video was directed by Darius Khondji.

For some reason I got a whole bunch of testers of this during this spring time’s perfume shopping. Only recently got into giving it a good test drive as my after gym/pool perfume (love samples for that purpose, cause they don’t take up any space).
I have no clue what that fruit is which the main note consists of. There is no translation of it to my language it seems.
Anyway I do really like that peachy/fruity floral yet powdery opening burst. It’s really very ‘there’ for the first half hour or so. It doesn’t smell sharp or too sweet on me at all. But mind I live in a very hot and humid climate and most scents are a bit muted down by the heavy air here. It does settle though quite quickly to a peachy floral and within 3 hours it’s mostly floral and musky.
I can imagine this being a cozy scent for any kind of climate. It would fit with a turtle neck cashmere sweater just as will as with a blouse or polo shirt.
If you’re going to meet people who are sensitive to perfumes, maybe spray it an hour before meeting them. The beginning definitely has an ‘oomph’ but after an hour I can’t really imagine anyone being offended by it.
No big wow here, but I really do like it. If I see a good offer anywhere in store I’ll definitely grab myself a bottle.

This parfume smell like a cheap parfume. Its odour is ordinary.

I’ve got many samples, Eternity Now is one of them I test sometime in office.
To me it’s litchi and musk. At some point there’s a beautiful salty vibe in it, similar but not identical to coconut milk, that unfortunately for me disappears in the drydown. It’s smooth, simple but pretty, delightful indeed!

Nice sharp smelling fragrance. I seem to smell coconut through it for some reason, Slightly sickly, but overall a pleasant safe choice. Would class as day wear. Would not buy it again.

It smells sharp and not so great to me when just sprayed, to the point that it makes my nose itch. But once it settles, it’s crisp/cold and fresh, almost soapy. I don’t smell any litchi or peachy notes. On me, neroli becomes more dominant than anything else. It has got an attitude of a headmistress who is not so approachable and scares the kids to be on her bad side.
I’d give it 8/10 for longevity and 6/10 for sillage.
It’s a great to wear in the office or even casually if you like to keep weak people away. It’s not warm or mushy at all. I’d wear it from time to time but never make it my signature for my nose’s sake.

My newest blind buy. My initial reaction is, it smells like Paco Robanne Olympea, (which i strongly dislike as it makes me nauseous)….. Eternity Now, however, has a different dry down, and i can see myself reaching for this one occasionally…… The peachy note is more mellow than in Olympea…..

my bad, I didn’t spray it on my body when I bought this parfume. it was good when I sniffed from the bottle.
the first time when I sprayed it on my wirst, I was like “ew, this is bad” it did smell like Tokyo by paris hilton; I agree with a comment above.
maybe it’s from the lemon, but it’s too sharp and makes me a bit dizzy.
the day after, I gave it a chance and well the dry down smells better than Tokyo and maybe I started to like this.

I started wearing this again with a new found love. It is peony and neroli with a woody base. Sweet, sour and a tad bitter all seamlessly blended into a masterful concoction that with only a couple sprays projects a clean and fresh veil of scent. This is quality. This is a grown up classic and a refreshing change from all of the new gourmands out there that to me do not project. This is not a skin scent but the fragrance seems to float around you. I would call it a fresh powerhouse. It only takes a couple of sprays so do not overdo.

I was surprised to see a tester bottle of this on the perfume counter of my small town department store. I thought this was one of those seemingly never ending TJMaxx/Ross/etc stand-by’s (pretty sure I confused this with Eternity Moment, look so similar, especially at first glance). Anyhoo, I tested this and found this pleasant enough, but not “worth” the retail price tag (imo). So..I figured I would look for one at one of the online fragrance discounters, and point, click and bam!-here it is!
Calvin Klein is one of those perfume manufacturers whose fragrances generally are an easy go-to, pretty safe across the board fragrances. Most people can find something from this line. Anyway, Eternity Now is a safe, everyday type fragrance. Not heavy at all. A soft clean floral. Nothing earth-shattering different, but nice for everyday. Casual. Very much office-safe. To me, this is a floral with some creaminess and a slight hint of citrus peeking from way in the background (the citrus is way more prominent in the opening, then fades to a soft creamy floral with a hint of citrus). Nice…Safe…Pretty much very inoffensive. Not heavy at all, soft and light, and yet lasts a good 8 or more hours. Basic bottle, but sometimes I like basic things. This might be basic to some noses, but sometimes I like basic scents.
Happy to have this in my collection. I think this will wear nicely in the Spring and especially in the heat and extreme terrible humidity that we get here in the Summer months. Probably never would have looked at had it not been right under my nose at the department store fragrance counter, but I have a feeling I will get more use out of this than expected. Unassuming, sort of “quiet,”..nice. Great for days you do not want to wear and/or you want something light and inoffensive, or even for days you might want to give your nose a “break,” yet still want to smell good. The sweetness is very incredibly subtle, mainly a soft floral with perhaps hints of even softer citrus popping through on occasion. Sort of a clean type of scent. I like it.

Very very similiar to Paris Hiltons “tokyo” smells very spicy and fruity, would wear every now and then.

Eternity Now is a fresh, citrusy floral best suited to Summer and Spring. It has an almost shampoo-vibe and brings to mind the Incanto range by Salvatore Ferragamo, which share a similar fresh fruitiness on the skin.
I wore the original Eternity for Women when I was still a university student. I loved its laundry-fresh scent during the warmer months and it was a fragrance I could either dress up or dress down. The subsequent Eternity flankers have honoured the crisp, fresh aroma found in the original by adding more floral notes or centering more on the citrus aspects.
Eternity Now is a bright, sparkling burst of yuzu, litchi, peony, neroli and musk to my nose. It’s more fruity and citrusy than floral, however I must admit that this appears to be in its favour. Eternity Now is sure to appeal to those women that live in a humid, warm climate as the scent’s longevity keeps you smelling fresh and clean for hours.
Unfortunately Eternity Now is not my personal cup of tea, however I do understand its appeal. It’s one of the better flankers from the Eternity range, although it shares very little in common with the original.

To my nose this is a combination of original Eternity and Eternity Moment with a touch of fruit, although I don’t find it to be as nice or as interesting as either of those two perfumes. The dry down is closer to Eternity Moment, but much sharper. It’s an OK perfume, but I’m glad I only purchased a rollerball.

I curiously reached for the tester and at first spritz I found it simply horrible..even after half an hour I was wondering who would want to even bother with this fragrance or what occasion would it suit..Only when a good bit of time elapsed did I start finding it familiar, and it dawned on me that I had something similar in my younger years..as I started thinking I realized it was Moschino Cheap and Chic..Maybe they`re not similar otherwise, but on me – hell yea.
It`s nothing like the original Eternity or Eternity Summer, this is probably a brand new take – although it`s not quite my cup of tea I must say it would make a good summer perfume as it isn`t too sweet or flowery, more sour, unlike most of today`s perfs, which is really refreshing these days as there has been too much sugary going on..So if you are in need of something a little different than all the candies – try this one of the days this summer. Or if you ever liked Moschino Cheap and Chic (black-white-gold bottle) it could be a top notch for you.

    Love the opening
Not amazing longevity, but ok, fresh sweet clean, juicy.
NZ is expensive but maybe in the USA much cheaper

I didn’t like this at first. It reminded me of Bounce dryer sheets, but the more I smelled it, the more I liked it. There is a tangy fruitiness with just enough sweetness to make it pretty. It’s very fresh and inoffensive. I like a fragrance I can wear anytime, anyplace. Eternity Now is subtle enough to wear to church, but special enough to wear to a party. Very versatile.

My quest for a Summer heatwave appropriate fragrance continues – and this is definitely in the top 5! My tastes tend towards heavier florals and orientals, however these just don’t work in Sydney weather right now.
I wanted something bright and refreshing, like a frozen margerita to wear, and this is perfect. The opening is fizzy and fruity without being sugary, and the musky drydown stays tingly, but a bit cheeky at the same time, and with a surprising depth.
Brilliant for hot summer days and balmy nights.
    Unmistakably Calvin Klein.

Don’t understand why so many dislikes. Luckily I didn’t rely on votes here, for a blind buy/avoid.
I’m a bit of a sceptic when it comes to CK perfumes, they don’t go well with me, but this one is different. I’m wearing it for almost 6h now, loving the smell. It is freshly sweet, not too little, or too much of anything. Just right.

  18. :

The beginning of this fragrance reminds me of candy… Oddly enough this has a soapy – clean smell. It’s sweet, fruity, fresh and musky. The musk becomes obvious with the dry down. It has a better wear on cooler days in the spring and summer. Lasts a while and the silage is great. Appropriate for the day. It’s a chic perfume but a ‘safe’ one.

Too floral and it smells so bad on my hand that I really want to take” a shower to get it off … This could be anyone’s perfume.

I find this COMPLETELY different from anything I’ve tried before.
I smelled it and “BANG”, The perfume that I was waiting for. Unique, sexy.
However, I have to be in a certain mood to wear it. but it’s amazing. The men version must be also great, have to smell it

  21. :

Starts with fresh, sweet fruity smell. It lasts quite long and it’s very nice.
Unfortunately the base is all cashmere wood. And there’s somehing about cashmeran that bothers me. It’s so wet concrete on my skin and reminds me of moist cellar. So I can’t use this anymore.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

Love it. It’s fresh summery and a little musky. I find with the exception of the original that a lot of the Eternity fragrances (the flankers) have terrible staying power. This however has great longevity and also projects quite nicely. A definite keeper.

  23. :

Hmm, upon first spray, this smells like a combination of Victoria’s Secret Love Spell, musk, and dryer sheets. I like it! It is very fruity with the main fruit note being peaches. It makes me nostalgic. I think I had a toy cleaning kit as a child that smelled like this. After a while, it becomes much more musky and dry, and even more reminiscent of peachy dryer sheets. It also somewhat reminds me of a fizzy bath bomb. Very wearable and inoffensive.

Just bought this little gem at Kohls yesterday., this is my very first purchase of any CK fragrance as I took an utter dislike to CK One and the old Eternity of years ago, plus, I am a French Fragrance lover.
I was happily testing away when my hubby said “smell this one “I really like it”!
I sprayed a card, and immediately smelled Grapefruit. I sprayed on my elbow crease and went to the Hanndbags.
About Ten minutes later I smelled a fresh, sweetness with that grapefruit still prominent and knew this was for me.
Eternity NOW is different than all the fruity and shallow new fragrances out there. It has a deep mysteriousness that is confusing but lively and lovely.

L-O-V-E!!! I find NOW very sheer and pretty, without smelling like anything else I have worn in the past. It is fresh and feminine with just the right amount of cream, floral, and musk scents all mixed together. A great everyday fragrance for spring and summer!

There’s nectarine blossom and neroli again. In addition some peony. This is a complicated composition for me, too fresh and sharp, kind of in your face.
It’s not the worst of the worst but I would rather not wear it.
There’s some sweetness coming along after a few hours. But it doesn’t change the fact, it’s not very unique and not very good.

  28. :

Light an freshly-sweet, not sickly-sweet! I love these notes! I am so happy they didn’t use freesia or lotus, which would have been expected with a perfume like this. I find that this perfume is a very nice creation for such a light scent, not boring at all and it is a nice balance between fruity and floral. Not too much of one over the other. Great scent for the summer and as an every day light fragrance!

I like this. Soft smell. Not make my nose sneezing after wearing it.

    5 out of 5

Wow. I really do not understand the negative ratings. I have noticed that often times fresh light fruity/florals get a lot of bad rep on this site, whereas sweeter, heavier more complex fragrances seem to get a lot more fan love. Maybe I am an odd bird, but I generally gravitate towards the lighter fresher scents. Easy-going, fun-loving. They usually seem to resinate more with me. They are just more “me” somehow. Lighter, fresher scents make me feel comfortable in my own skin, like me but better if you will. However there is something extra special about CK Eternity Now. I think it is the Peach blossom and the Sorbet that make me go completely gaga over it 🙂
Granted, I also appreciate many sweet and some heavier scents, but sometimes they make me work for their love, whereas with perfume like CK Eterny Now things are just easy from the get go. That is what I love about this scent. It actually smells AMAZING and I don’t have to take time to get to know it or understand it. It’s just plain good, from start to finish. No hidden agenda. What you smell is what you get. I love that.
Some might say that this is not a masterpiece. That it is simple and linear and that there is no complexity to be found. Those to me can be positive qualities in a fragrance. To me that does not equal this being a “bad” perfume. It means that this is the PERFECT every day scent. The complex and heavy hitters are not the beginning and the end in the world of perfume. They are not all there is. We can have variety. In my case the heavy hitters are surely also appreciated but they can wait for special occasions. I don’t want to smell “complex” every day. I want to smell approachable and just plain nice and that is exactly what Eternity Now does for me 🙂

After being thoroughly impressed and instantly liking with Eternity Now for Men, I was eager to try Eternity Now for Women.
Unfortunately, this one is not as unique or original as Eternity Now for Men. Eternity Now for Women smells like so so so many other floral-fruity-musky melange fragrances out for women. It’s safe and bland. It does nothing different or nothing new. It opens as a bright, aqueous floral with a wisp of something fruity. Eventually it becomes a floral musk.
Ladies, skip this one and check out Eternity Now for Men. That one is unique, original, fresh, and entirely unisex (much like CK Reveal for Men is entirely unisex). Eternity Now for men smells like a delicious tropical/summer themed hair conditioner or lotion. It’s sweet and milky nuance make it truly addicting.

My hubs just got this for me recently. I like it but didnt fall in love with it. When i first sprayed this i only could smell fruits. Im not a fan of fruity note unless its mixed with floral notes. I like perfumes with much flowers less fruits. I had to check fragrantica for notes. Floral? I dont smell floral or musk..maybe a fade weak floral…maybe. strangly i could smell peaches although its not there. im dissappointed…it doesnt hold up to my other fragrances. i will use it to freshen up after morning showers.

I love this fragrance but mainly for nostalgic reasons. When I smelled it for the first time I could swear there was grape in it. When I was little I helped my grandpa harvest grapes and the smell of grape-juice hit me immediately I almost cried because of the memories. Then I got home and looked up the notes and realized it was the litchi, no grapes what so ever but it’s so nice! I may be too sentimental but I have to have this. It’s fruity, powdery a little bit sweet but fresh at the same time. I love this one!!

This is very powerful and juicy perfume. Sweet, but not vanilla kind of sweet, but very sexy. Added on my wishlist!

At my first try I didn’t like this, I found it bitter and couldn’t place it. However, I decided to give it some more chances and realised that it was indeed pretty nice, especially after it dried down.
I find it fresh. Not in the citrus sense, but rather it’s the fresh-out of the shower scent.

  36. :

Not so much musk or floral – to me this is monstly sweet fruit (peach or apricot). And it is not a bad thing at all if I feel like wearing a sweet and fruity perfume that day. It is quite an optimistic fragrance, great for summer. The longevity is ok, I can smell peach on my skin for hours. The other notes – not so much though.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

This fragrance is so terribly flat. You basically don’t smell any of those fruity starting notes, it surprises you directly with straight into your face peach blossom that doesn’t develop much throughout time. To me, it’s an uninteresting scent, where the base notes don’t come into a game whatsoever.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

Delicious! Adorable! Lasts and lasts and lasts and doesn’t change on my skin which is perfect in the world of rapidly fading maistream fragrances.
Cheerful fruity coctail for sulky morning. Refreshing, invigorating. But it is more than a simple fruity one, because has depth and boosts your selfesteem.
A beautiful woman in comfort wear, with small, sophisticated pieces of jewellery.

This is sour-sweeet-powdery. Way too powdery for me. I love original eternity a lot. I don’t notice anything similar between both, but I still do like it.

This fragrance has a lovely fruity top note that stays with you for roughly 30 minutes then you get to the real beauty it smells absolutely delicious warm and delightful. I’ve bought the 30ml blind and I’m going to get a 100ml back up that’s how much I love this fragrance. Doesn’t remind me of the original eternity. Would highly recommend you test this on skin .
    Top Notes
    Lychee, Quince sorbet
    Heart Notes
    Peony, Peach blossom, Neroli
    Base notes
    Cashmere woods, Ambrox, Musk

Well this is a very chemical fragrance. Initially i get peach, peach and more peach with some sorbet and peony. But oh..beware do not smell this to closely, don’t get your wrist up to your nose it can burn your nostrils hairs! HARSH! very weird ammonia or burning plastic smell! yuck!

Nice very nice, and idk about now or later but I enjoy the same scent by my kitchen cleaning spray detergent. I honestly hate these cleaning products companies that beat designers. Too late CK, Ive already associated in my brain this scent with cleaning spray.

So I found a tester of this, 100mls size for 39.99 on my fav website 🙂 I just got it, and I noticed this site says it’s an EDT when the box says EDP. Either way OMFG it’s so nice! Hands down new fav!

This is stunning! I was blown away honestly! I kind of like eternity moment and a few other from this line but not any love for any of them, this however was a major love. I’m not sure what notes stand out, but it’s very fresh, very soft but bold at the same time. It’s the type of grown up woman scent, but a grown up that doesn’t have to be too grown up all the time, someone fun and flirty. Love this! Sad that it’s so bloody expensive! Saw it for 98 dollars, and. I doNOT pay that kind of price lol

Wooow, what a weird sensation to smell this for the first time! It’s so artificially fruity – like a strawberry in the middle of winter – with more preservatives than the fruit itself:( And so generic! In no way does this correspond to the whole Eternity range which is a legendary one, it smells more like a low-shelf EDT for schoolgirls below 10. Not that it’s very bad but totally out of place and time – like some “Moomin” or “Alice in Wonderland” sort of thing – childlish-psychodelic kind of sensation… As if someone entered the perfume lab and experimented there for the first time without any knowledge and eventually came up with this with a big smile on their face! No offense, but this was my first impression. I think I’ll give it another chance some day but rather reluctantly.

As going to buy me a staple I’ve been missing today….Versace Versense.
I might have just bought me this instead !
I was so surprised over Eternity getting a fresh family member .
As a contrary to most of the earlier reviewers above me, I really liked it !
It was fresh and juicy and lovely , perhaps cause it was this type of perfume I was aiming for this time…
Today I was persistent and bought my old staple for the fourth time,
as I am soon to leave for summerholidays.
I think this is no where near detergent and one of us here , cant count it out so soon…you just wait….
Well done , fresh juicy and potent – not an easy thing to do !

let me say, I love Ann Gottlieb.
But, this perfume is a disaster. It is a smell, that hit your nose when you enter place where cleaning is done generically. It is this cheap spray or aroma that keep you feeling dizzy and wanting to get out of there as of Now. Sorry, just a disaster.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

Peachy scents are often quite nauseous to my nose and this time it hasn’t been any different. I can smell a lot of peach blossom and barely any other note. Eternity would be a disaster with such an unhealthy scent.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

I discovered this today, it overpowered any other perfume I sampled it’s quite nice but way too strong for me- very long silage. I have a feeling if I spent more time with her I would come to like her better.

  55. :

    3 out of 5

Grapefruit!!! That is what Eternity Now screams at you right at the get go. The “sorbet” is just an icy sweetness dulling down the sharp tang. The florals never really have a chance to sing because the soapy muskiness masks their beauty, and instead really has a BO scent that rears its ugly head in about 3 hours. No one wants that. Another disappointment from CK in their women’s line in my opinion. The unisex and men’s cologne are generally far more pleasing.

I found it for a decent price on eBay, and I got a decent fragrance…let’ s just say I expected different..seems Ann Gotlieb has a thing for juicy light fragrances..first notes are very bright, juicy bright, like a tropical cocktail, nice, the quince sorbet gives it a different edge, almost like a grapefruit vibrant scent, but the dry down falls flat in my opinion…it is a bit warm, a bit musky, nothing great…i
I don’t think it is like Eternity Moment, but it isn’t in the base radically different. I kind of prefer Moment…
Calvin Klein is for me a hit and miss, at times, brilliant creations, most of the times, purely mainstream and a bit forgettable.
Eternity Now is just a flop in my opinion, it will never capture the beauty of the original,Eternity Now is more like an Escada, in its fruity cocktail character.

An update for eternity moment? that one is being discontined but this one seems very similar even the color of the juice is similar. I shall wait & see if this ever made it into the local stores so I can compare the two of the eternity versions.
