Description

Calvin Klein launches a new fragrant pair ETERNITY NOW that will appear on the market in July 2015. 27 years after the original Eternity, and the year after Eternity Night editions new flankers com out: addictive and sparkling floral for women and lickable oriental – fougere version for men.

Masculine fragrance Eternity Now For Men is made in collaboration with IFF and contains notes of bitter ginger, coconut water, star anise, star fruit, cedar, patchouli, Moroccan cedar, tonka bean and Madagascar vanilla. The scent comes in bottles of 30, 50 and 100 ml EDT.

After last year’s advertising faces Christy Turlington and Ed Burns, the new campaign is starred by another real-life couple – models Jasmine Tookes and Tobias Sorensen. The video was directed by Darius Khondji.

this is a generic fragrance, smells very sweet and sexy, this is not a sweetness that will hit you in the face, it’s a very balanced sweet fragrance, many girls love this one and thats amazing! , it last for 6 hours which is ok
overall it is a good fragrance, I wish it lasted longer.

Eternity Now for Men is the second frag. I’ve ever owned.
    – amazing opening! Full of masculinity and freshness, very intriguing and fun! Will def get you noticed !
    – over the next few hours dries down to a more boring somewhat synthetic & woody scent
    — overall average sillage and projection
    — If you’re looking for a manly frag. that’s not super dark/musky then THIS IS FOR YOU
    — I’m into having a wide variety of fragrances: this is a lighter, sweeter, fruitier but def masculine frag.
Give it a try, definitely amazing ! OVERALL: 8/10

I really like it. It’s my favorite Calvin Klein scent. Coconut and vanilla that thankfully avoids being suntan lotion. It is sweet but my chemistry somehow tones down sweet scents so I can enjoy it but others may not. You know, when to wear it is a good question. It is probably too sweet to wear out in the heat (summer) yet with the coconut that’s exactly when it should be worn. So, I’d say wear it in the summer when you expect to be indoors most of the time. Works where I’m at (the South) because as much as we all like to talk about being outside during the summer down here, the truth is many, many Southerners spend the ungodly hot summers in the A/C. If I’m outside I’ll be on the jet ski or in the lake and won’t bother with fragrance anyways. So there you go. It’s an indoors summer scent. Or, a summer night scent depending on the heat.

To describe this perfume as an oriental is to stretch that word to the limit.
This is an oriental for millenials, a likable water down version. Having grown in the 80’s, I still have memories of cloying car rides where the likes of Opium reigned.
Still, Eternity Now is attractive, mellow and soft, feels like suede. Comforting and not intrusive.
The coconut nectar ( whatever that might be) is the main character, some flimsy bare noticeable citrus note lingers for a few minutes. Then is Woody, clean.
To me this is an office fragrance with a little more personality.

my experience is exactly the same as that of ShiveringTimber´s: all i get on my skin is a sweet bubble-gum vanilla scent, no tropical notes…ENfM may be great for vanilla-lovers (fans of Jesus del Pozo Halloween could like this scent), anyway, it´s a pass for me…I agree with “brassy” connotation as well.

I have to say this was a disappointment for me. I was looking for a beachy/coconut scent but this doesn’t have that at all. I don’t smell any coconut. I agree with the person who said it reminds them of 1 Million. There’s a scent here that I describe as “brassy” and this Eternity Now has a lot of brassy going on. If I were to compare it beyond 1 Million, it would be to Chanel’s Egoiste Platinum, that too was supposed to be a scent I would love but whatever is causing the brassiness is in it as well. I very rarely wash a scent off but I had to with this one. I believe this, the Chanel, the 1 Million, all have their places but it’s not on me.

amazing/beautiful scent,i get the carambola, coconut, citrus and patch from this.delicious id say, nice bottle too…simplistic, good for summer and both genders but the one big prb is longevity, you gotta respray every two hours, its really nice and fun to wear this on a casual day, good for vacation perhaps.i got a 7ml mini, may be will get the full bottle.they should make an intense version

This is a really peculiar gourmand scent, the opening is amazingly unique and in fairness that’s true of many Calvin Klein fragrances, they open well but then become less obscure, more familiar and uninspiring. I can only attribute this to the fruity opening of star fruit, another thing CK tend to do is use unusual fruits in the top notes, normally I’d say they smell a bit like apple or tangerine or grapefruit but they usually smell very much different to normal fruits which is a nice attention to detail and leads me to conclude they really do resemble the exotic and rarer fruits. I have actually had a star fruit before but I can’t remember what it was like? Anyway then comes a powerful and almost niche sweetness which is already building a big Tonka Bean and vanilla base. As it delveops the candy floss sweetness and a very nice coconut note which isn’t ridiculous and sun lotion like, I’d say more dark, remind me of Only the Brave WILD a fragrance I thought was cheap and throwaway but actually, strangely enjoyed. It starts to loose itself in the drydown becoming more generic and annoying Tonka based, overly busy, messy stuff. When it settles to a very low skin scent after several hours is just a sweet Rochas Man but not as charming or subtle. I actually thought I’d buy this for the over sweet and unique opening alone but as the notes developed the composition just became more and more jumbled

It’s good, but painfully mild. It smells mostly like that Tahitian Treat/Tahiti Treat fruit punch soft drink. Get for cheap! I paid $24.99 for a 50ml and I think that was too much! lol Also, to be a(true) flanker, you’d think this would bare 1% at least resemblance to the Original Eternity. Maybe worthy of a class-action lawsuit! 😉

Eternity now definitely shocked me but not with how good it smells but for how it smells. With coconut listed I was expecting something along the lines of Tommy Bahama or even something similar to the CK One Summers.
Unfortunately this is just another sweet but fresh,bubble-gummy type of smells along the lines of One Million,Polo Red, and Eros. ( I’m so sick of this genre)
This does add a different take as the coconut and star fruit make it unique, and I liked what they did with this scent but it’s to immature and sugary sweet for my taste. However, I’m not going to say this is a bad scent but it’s personally not for me !
On my skin this smelled very similar to a girly Pina colada air freshener 1 of my exes used to have in her car.lol
Performance is 3-6 hours with moderate projection. Typical Calvin Klein performance.
Overall rating — 6.5 out of 10 ! Decent scent but it doesn’t suit my own personal taste

This is a gem.. I instantly loved it, it has a tropical coconut smell to it.. I thought is smelled young, but I was informed by some co workers that is more of a dad smell.. Which I was extremely shocked by, but I still love it regardless.. I’ll rock this dad smell anyday.. Also check out Halloween Man by Jesus Del Pozo and Sun Java for men, and Thallium.. They smell youthful for sure and get good compliments

It’s alright at first it smells like 212 VIP Man then suddenly smells tropical like a pineapple flavored blunt hehe

Wow, this is actually quite nice. I was quite expecting to hate it, but I wore the original back in the early 90s.
Starts off overwhelmingly sweet and gourmand and coconuts everywhere, but eventually starts to morph and adopt some of the more classic lavender/vanilla of the fougère original…although no idea where the lavender note comes from – a combo of other things? This is an admittedly modern, sickly sweet fougère but a fougère nonetheless – and quite well put together, or even dare I say it ‘balanced’, in the notes somehow, despite being so sweet and coconutty.
Important to note, this fougère development happened to me on a test strip after two hours, so on skin I’m sure it would happen quicker, and might be why many turn their noses up so soon if testing on paper.)
I’m not sure I’d wear it now, though I’m sure young men would love it.

  15. :

This fragrance has a brilliant and unique opening owed to the carambola (star fruit). It’s brilliance and uniqueness gradually fades away into a cliche pina-coladic scent; then finally comes to an almost annoying pineapple hault. I really wished that the opening remained linear. Quite disappointed.

My husband probably accidentally bought this one instead of Eternity which he bought for years, until I asked him to try something else, because he was wearing Eternity at a time when everyone else was wearing it all the time too and I just grew tired of being surrounded by Eternity for Men.
I’m glad he accidentally bought this fragrance, because I love orientals, Eternity Now has Tonka, vanilla, cedar and coconut, which are all notes I love. The fruity notes aren’t detectable on my husband or maybe they evaporated immediately, because he applies it at the same time as his aftershave, right out of the shower, in a steamy bathroom.
Eternity Now seems like it’s best for cooler weather, but knowing hub, he won’t stop wearing it until the bottle’s empty, even if if lasts him into next Summer *sigh!*.
It’s masculine and not in a heavy overbearing way, though with so many people being fragrance phobic today, I’m sure someone at a family gathering or work will complain.:(
Hub just sprayed it on before driving out to a buddy’s HAM shack, so I can’t say anything about longevity. If the other HAMS don’t lilke the fragrance, then hub might be able to get a radio and computer all to himself.:D
While hub didn’t put any thought into this purchase and just grabbed what he thought was the only Eternity out there (I don’t think he’s noticed flankers and wouldn’t understand the term) for me, this is a win and the first men’s fragrance from Calvin Klein, that I’ve liked for years!:)

This one can not be judged without trying it on. On scent strip it is almost froofroo pina colada. But once you try it on, the masculine spice jumps in and steals the show. You still get that subtle hint of coconut, which reads fresh fall fragrance. Appropriate to wear in winter somewhere that does not get 4 seasons.

This does not smell like Axe Fever.
I have both and I’ve reviewed both.
Axe Fever has this powdery, dusty “dirt” smell with a topload of citrus.
No way similar — AT ALL — to Eternity Now for Men.
Nothing mainstream market smells like CK EN for Men. The only thing I could say that Eternity Now smells like is a coconutty, vanillic hair conditioner.

Got to update my previous review where I said my wife and I liked it but it didn’t last. Previous uses of my sample just didn’t last, but was intrigued by the nice smell.
I was about to finish up my sample and for the first time I used it in the morning right after my shower. Well 7 hours later I was still smelling it. Put on later in the day it didn’t last, but when I put it on early, it stayed with me.
    bought it!!!

I have to admit I’m quite attracted to this fragrance. There’s nothing cheap about it except for the price tag. To me, the scent and the packaging are both great. My husband got it last year and it has become his new signature since then..I really love the smell whenever he wears it and I just can’t stop smelling him when he’s wearing it..
Unlike me, he isn’t a perfume snob or a perfume collector, he doesn’t care for expensive fragrances and only likes to own one cologne/scent at a time. That’s just the opposite of me, which I find it pretty adorable. On the day we picked up this fragrance, I smelt tones of other male fragrances, only this one got my immediate attention. Because to me it smelt fun, modern, unique and sweet. It’s a sweet masculine scent with some fresh tropical notes in the background. It smells like vanilla with star fruit and coconut. The notes are quite balanced in my opinion. The great thing is he likes it, too. He was going to get his old time favorite, Eternity Summer, but we were glad to come across this one instead.
I’m not very attracted to something too spicy or citrusy nowadays. In the gym, on the train or in the shopping centres, I’m just not a fan of those in your face citrusy male scents or super spicy stuff. Too me some male frag can even smell sharp or dated. This one is subtle, fresh, sweet and creamy. The opening is quite nice and strong. It projects well for a good 3-4 hours and then becomes a light skin scent.
Overall, I really like it and after half of the bottle it’s still going strong. I haven’t had enough of it yet, so I hope he might get another bottle of it once he finishes this one. 😉
By the way, he recently gifted me a 50ml CK Euphoria which looks lovely next to his 100ml Eternity Now. Unfortunately Eternity Now for Women doesn’t work for me, too floral and sharp. But Euphoria is a total different story. Although I was never interested in it before, now I own it I think it’s such a classic and sexy fragrance which shouldn’t be ignored by me all these years.

Years on and almost everything smells so much alike. Anything related to Eternity is barely detectable, perhaps a faint citric note in the begining. But in the end I get a less sweet, less cloying, and a better, in general, Burberry Brit Rhythm. Impressions are not always the same, and can change. It was fresher on paper strip.

i fall in love with the scent instantly.. very addictive and great scent.. i love the combination of coconut and vanilla.. brilliant!
unfortunately, i just love how it smell.. the projection, longevity and sillage is bad! really 100% bad.. it will stay on your skin and clothes like an hour or less and poof! disappear like a magic! smell nothing after that..like 0% nothing left!
why CK, why?? Calvin Klein released a very addictive and great fragrance this time but the performance just sucks.. unbelievable! i would purchase a bottle if it’s perform like the brand.. i mean Calvin Klein is such a huge brand.. very let down and disappointed.. i know some people would still buy it just because they love how the perfume smell even it is weaker in performance.. but for me it’s not worth it!
    10/10 for the scent
0/10 for the projection and longevity

I think this should not carry the name of Eternity, which may be misleading – there’s no resemblance to the original Eternity at all so TRY FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY!
Very sweet – almost female fragrance but I kinda liked it and loved to find a hint of coconut in the male fragrance. Personally this is for winter wearing – not summer.

Stuffy, heavy, synthetic and cheap. There is nothing nice to say about this one. Do not even understand how this can be related to the fantastic Eternity classic.

I read a lot of reviews talking about coconut as the first thing they smelled. I just spritzed and all I smell is carambola and ginger. So it starts fresh and citrus. A few minutes passed and I smell ginger and very little coconut, giving it some creaminess.
Less than 10 minutes passed and citrus has gone and coconut is more proeminent, like Ralph Hot with some hints of wood.
This one could be labeled “unissex”.

I just got this and this smell great, this could be unisex.
this is one of the best scent ever.
The only problem is the projection is kinda weak.
Calvin Klein should make a Intense version of this fragrance with a heavy projection.
This fragrance with great for young guy and up.

I agree with those who view this as unisex. If you like sweet gourmands I think you’ll enjoy the first half hour or so. After that it doesn’t seem to be as complex, which isn’t uncommon, but I also begin to pick up a “chemical” quality, though it’s not that strong (unlike some other recent CK scents I’ve tried). It comes across as a “synthetic” wood note. I don’t understand why some “cheapo” companies can avoid this and yet still have good longevity (for example, Insurrection Wild II or whatever that Pure Havane type scent is called), but CK can’t. Do they want this as their “house note” or are they too lazy to formulate properly, or is it just the cheapest way to go? Anyway, it goes in a cherry pipe tobacco direction, but it feels like the sweetness prevents that from ever developing, if that makes sense. A woman who thinks Pure Havane is too masculine might like this one. Perhaps I’ve just sampled too many of these and my standards have been raised substantially, but it’s not a “bad” scent if you are seeking this sort of thing. I am, but I’ve already got ones I prefer. I’m not sure if I’ll keep my 1 ounce bottle or swap it, but I’m leaning towards the latter. Note that I got none of original Eternity for Men here, though of course they share some ingredients, as is the case for 99% of other “masculine” designers.
UPDATE: That wood-ish note lasted more than 24 hours, but it’s a bit screechy, probably because all the other notes were gone. Again, why load up a scent with such an irritating aroma chemical in a composition like this? I would have liked it without this harsh note – “addition by subtraction” is a lesson they apparently need to learn!

  38. :

    4 out of 5

CK can do better if just rename this to CK Now, nothing resembles the Eternity. It started with dusty citrus for 10 min, it evolve to strong powderish tonka-patchoulli scent for hours later. Projection is good, silliage is weak, stay close to your skin.
CK seriously need to end the endless flanks and start new evolution line of fragrance that capture the market once again.

Meh. I can’t decide if this smells vaguely like laundry soap or some forgettable beachy-tropical scent. Too generic, too mass-market.

I like this. Not much to add to what’s already been posted here but I will say that there are other fragrances that are VERY similar for less money. Joop Homme Wild and Enrique Iglesias Adrenaline come to mind…. Not that they’re identical but definitely similar.

juicy sweet yet still masculine and fresh…
I do pick up starfruit more than anything then comes the coconut mixed with fresh ozonic accords that remind me of really ripped abs by bodman when it dries down nothing extraordinary but still a pleasant smell

Best ck cologne out right now all others smell like cheap drug store colognes this defiantly has a slight similarity to one million and the coconut in this is like creed virgin island water safe scent and can be worn pretty much every season 7.5/10

I ran into this new Calvin Klein Eternity Now at Sephora so I sprayed some on the tester strip to see what it is all about.. This is just my first impression of this fragrance.. Eternity Now opens up very fresh & fruity! The coconut is noticeable immediately and it is one of the prominent notes in this fragrance.. The star fruit adds a nice fruity touch which together with the coconut gives Eternity Now a bit of a tropical vibe.. As the fragrance progresses the scent begins to warm up a bit & get sweeter.. In the dry down notes of tonka & vanilla begin to take over.. Eternity Now is fresh, fruity, & somewhat sweet.. It is a very pleasant scent, although it does smell a bit synthetic but that is the usual for Calvin Klein fragrances.. I detect a bit of a similarity to Yves Saint Laurent’s new Kouros Silver.. Eternity Now is a bit more fresh fruity & tropical whereas Kouros Silver is a bit warmer, & woodier but nevertheless the two share a similar vibe..

A cosy, sweet floral musk with sugary lemon… and the obligatory dash of One Million which many high street perfumes have in their DNA now. I still like the original Eternity but don’t like this powdery concoction.

To paraphrase: Smells nice, but I don’t like it. LOL

Have you ever smelled a fragrance and thought to yourself, “Now THIS would be MY SIGNATURE scent… if only I didn’t have lots of other fragrances!”
That’s how I feel about CK Eternity Now. If I didn’t have 60 other fragrances, this would be my signature scent.
Something about it is so familiar but it’s wholly unique for a men’s fragrance. It’s sweet, uniquely fresh, and clean. When I wear it, I feel confident and approachable. I feel friendly and inviting without being inappropriate or trying too hard.
It’s very sweet, but it’s fresh. It smells like a shampoo or hair conditioner but doesn’t smell “soapy” which is a good thing. It’s completely linear with this coconut nectar note being the dominating accord. This coconut nectar is the scent of the juice and not the flesh. A woman could easily wear this thing, it’s that versatile. It’s an every season type of fragrance. The vanilla cuts through arctic air of winter and the coconut nectar keeps things fruity and light in the summer.
I highly recommend this. Some days I wish for simpler times when I only had 1 or 2 fragrances. If I still lived in those times, Eternity Now for men would definitely be 1 of those 2 fragrances.

Indeed a cozy warm and casual scent that combines the epic notes of Paco Rabannes 1 million and YSL la unit de l’homme. A whole other take on the Eternity line with their yearly summer edition and several flankers.
In the latter years CK have not dropped their defences and tried something new and avant garde and some of the recent newbies like Reveal is somewhat a scent that doesn’t matter to most people.
As a scent it is good for winter and late autumn and the longevity is above average.
    Rating 6/10

Very smooth metrosexual fragrance that sits in the same space as YSL La Nuit d L’homme and Valentino Uomo. Still worth having even if you own these two. Criticisms of this fragrance are more likely to come from those that do not enjoy this category. Fans of the original eternity are likely to be disappointed. But many others are likely to be pleasantly surprised.
Incredibly beautiful updated bottle featuring new shape as well as the new cap. Unfortunately the cap and spray collar are low quality. Nonetheless a good effort on aesthetics.

Coty again leverages on the Eternity name to come out with a forgettable, generic fragrance. Why it’s Eternity Night in this latest iteration of EternityNow! Yuck. Don’t bother with this one. It’s not a collectible like the original Eternity.

This is sweet fruity frag, and for some reason remind me of or has similarities to One Million Cologne. I think this is not bad at all, but if you don’t like sweet frag then no reason to look for. I think this one also perform very well on my skin.
This can also be used as UNI since this a good sweet fragrance.

So fruity at first! It reminds me of a sort of incense that you could find by the shore. But the dry down smells very similar to Swiss Army Unlimited! This honestly is great for a September day, Put it on in the day time, the beginning notes mix well in warmth, then the dry down mixes well with the cool weather of the evening. 7.5/10

Paper samples do not do as much justice as the real perfume in person, however, I will comment on what I found in the sample which is a definite unisex scent.
Great on first sniff. That’s a plus. But no gorgeous, heavenly scent….but remember this is paper.
It’s clean, not soapy. It’s mellow rounded mild coconut and not vanilla, but fresh cream. No piercing notes at all. It hums gently.
Not quite a warm scent, more like lukewarm, if one can understand what I mean.
I will pick up on this as soon as I sample it properly.

  58. :

Oh my days this is absolutely gorgeous, a milky, coconuty vanilla, feels exactly right as a Summer flanker, but it’s somehow different. I got about 3.5 hours out of it, after some liberal spraying, which is a little disappointing. If you want something different this is great, definitely unisex.

  59. :

    5 out of 5

Dominant notes of vanilla and coconut create a very delicious and warm combination on my skin. Very different from Eternity and it’s summer flankers. It’s well done and very likeable. Decidedly targeted toward younger men to spray some on and go out for a night full of fun!
Moderate silage and staying power. Overall:6 out of 10.

in my honest opinion: it smells too feminine! the coconut note is really strong

This doesn’t have much to do with the original Eternity. It smells powdery, sweet, vanilla-like and slightly fruity. Clearly CK trying to muscle in on the fad for modern smelling types like Invictus and Jimmy Choo. I think I prefer Now to its peers but sadly as it is a Coty product it doesn’t perform well.

start off with a tropical blast for at least an hour and dries down to a linear and decent woody fruit based cologne, must admit I like it alot, good job on the notes for this fragrance, on the skin at least 3 hours on your clothing 4 hours ,typical by today’s standards of scentwear, but it’s a likable fragrance overall.

Smells amazing and completely different from original eternity but linear as can be. Went to purchase but after testing it beforehand, realized it only lasted maybe 30 minutes before falling flat

I don’t want to be too negative but for me this latest release from CK is disappointing. Its very sweet but that’s about all. Try Versace Eros for something similar but better as both are high on tonka and vanilla, the only difference being this one has a more spicy/fruity vibe. If you are into sweet fruity fragrances you might like this until you find out about its performance issues! Made to measure gives this bad boy a run for its money.. A young mans fragrance for sure. Smells nice but meh. Sorry.

    Tested this today….Drum roll……..
This of Calvin Klein’s best !!!
The first sniff is soooooo awesome..
    I get tropical..but NOT suntan lotion tropical….Fruity…yes.. sweet…very light hint of coconut…not a vanilla coconut…and finally…woody …
This is love at first sniff for me. However…the sillage and projection is only average….sound familiar??
CK has this constant problem IMO. But…this one is still full bottle worthy for me. This type of scent seems to be the current “vibe” or “trend” now. I just bought Boucheron Quatre pour Homme….awesome scent..and is in the same vein as CK Eternity Now….they don’t smell alike…but are in the same vein…weight…air. Also ..I could include Dior Homme for me is in this vein, and maybe Lanvin L’Eclat Homme..and even CK Reveal. Give this one a try !!!!
