As a vintage lover mostly, although I love many moderns too, I find this very inexpensive fragrance by Avon not bad. It does not last really but in a way that is ok as it is not cloying like many sweet others. I use it to layer on a few dry vintages to lift them up a little. Alone, it is too sugary for my old fashioned tastes but at the price, it is still good value. Many far more expensive fruity sweety ones smell pretty much the same to me.. This makes a nice linen cupboard spray. Decent bottle and sprayer, nothing fancy but fine.
vitto1011 – :
I love the smell of this fragrance. I just wish it lasted longer…
АлександрЯкушев – :
For an avon perfume i loved this one. It’s mature and sophisticated without being to overpowering. The notes work well together. No idea why they dicontinued this one but have kept outdated headache scents like night magic.
Serheo030 – :
plzzzzzzzz bring it back ,Avon
along with the purple one
slatextw – :
What a surprise! I only took a chance on this because it was heavily discounted, I assume it’s discontinued, so get it while you can!
I thought I’d made a mistake for the first 10 seconds, the initial spray smells very synthetic, like plastic fruit (not sure how to describe it, really.) But then it becomes a gorgeous fruity-violet-woody-musk. It’s nicely balanced between all those accords!
I have to use 6-7 sprays if I want to be able to smell this without putting my nose to my arm, but considering the price I think it’s a bargain. Very sweet and girly, as others have mentioned, so it’s a scent I’ll wear when I’m feeling super-feminine. Best for Spring, but I think it could work year-round as it’s not overpowering.
Malev – :
This perfume was given to me as a gift. I really like it! I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.
marsel.74 – :
Raspberry and black currant. The last one wrecks it for me as it reminds me of bug-repellant.
One spray on me
Sillage: arm’s length
Longevity: one hour
Rating: 1/5
tvilset – :
Everytime my daughter wears this I just think it is so wonderful. It is her. Warm, sweet, kind, woodsy, outdoorsy. 🙂
She is simply a perfect human being and this perfume just makes the aura around her shine even more. Why would Avon take this away from me? Just kidding. But they do need to bring this back it is wonderful and so easy to be around.
ornarmoraph – :
On my skin this perfume is all about the Wood, Honestly from beginning to end it smells just like Wood, No raspberry or Vanilla, it is a reaaly good option when I want a cozy scent, I had this perfume simply beacuse it was a gift from a dear friend but I couldn’t finish the bottle so I gave it to my mom it smells better on her.
VOVAN7676 – :
Is very similar with a Natura fragrance named Tisbe which was descontinued some years ago. Sweet, girly and sexy. Unfortunately, this Avon fragrance also was descontinued here in Brazil.
AIEX1993 – :
I absolutely love this perfume. It smells so woodsy, like I’m sitting by a campfire and eating berries. It has the smell of Colorado in the winter, when all the smoke from the fireplaces and the trees put off this wonderful scent. Like a winter candle, but yet it’s still sweet enough to be a summer fragrance. I am in love with this fragrance. Sadly, I think this has been discontinued, but I stocked up since this is my favorite.
Elektronik_85 – :
I’m glad I only bought a tester of this, as whilst it’s a pleasant, inoffensive scent, it just doesn’t light my fire.
I’ve been buying testers before splashing out (where possible) and hopefully it will save me money in the long run.
If you want a floral scent then it does the job without breaking the bank but needs to be reapplied frequently. I’m pleased I tried it but won’t be buying a full bottle.
kinston – :
Oh my. Where do I start.
There are some perfumes I dislike or cannot wear but I am able to appreciate them still; the sort of perfumes that are not good for me but I can imagine might be great on someone else. That’s not the case with Eternal Magic. There is nothing magical here, and definitely nothing eternal. I cannot even smell a humble raspberry. There is some crazy sweet iris bullying into the background the shy green notes. On my skin it smells flat, one-dimensional and fades quickly which is not a big deal since I don’t miss it
enkei1989 – :
This perfume has lived up to my hopes for it, having taken the chance to buy a half price bottle of it from my previous Avon brochure!
I really like raspberry notes in perfumes and the raspberry in this is definitely the most prominent note but on my skin it’s not syrupy at all, which is a complaint that other review(s) of it on here have mentioned, but it’s just fresh, sweet and very girly smelling! Chopard Happy Spirit Magical Nights, which I bought awhile ago as a blind internet buy and which also contains raspberry, is WAAAY more syrupy, jammy and cloying smelling, to the point that I couldn’t stand it and ended up swapping it. The vanilla in Eternal Magic Enchanted adds to the sweetness, but without making it cloying, and the cashmere wood and musk give depth to the perfume so it doesn’t smell fruit juice’ish, which many other fruity perfumes do smell like, particularly some of the celebrity perfumes such as some of the Paris Hilton range. It’s sweet but sexy at the same time in my opinion.
I have to also add that to me this perfumes DOESN’T smell cheap, despite one reviewer saying that it does. It smells like a good, mid-range perfume – not cheap and not massively expensive!
I like this a lot and am tempted to buy another bottle as a back up seeing as it’s still on offer.
Majkof – :
a very bad perfume it gives you headache and nobody can smell it around you no matter how much you put on
SkyFire – :
I was so sad that I didn’t like this perfume I had such a big expectation and sadly all I smell is the Cashmere wood. No vanilla, no raspberry just wood which is great if you like woody perfumes but this just is not for me.
Mandtrodo – :
Eternal Magic Enchanted by Avon smell wonderful and fresh at the first spray as wonderful as its pink, feminine packaging and its girly advertisement. i get that soft notes and the freshness from the fruity top notes.
However, after a few sprays , i smell this strong combination of violet leaf, rose and green leaves that tone down the soft fruityness which been all mixed together. the result, it almost like smell like clove wood-ish and star anise-ish to me. That strong. Some of you might get sensitive to this perfume if you got flu.
Just an OKAY,nothing special perfume. The sillage and projection are depend on how much you spray it, it can be unnoticeable at all or too strong if you wear it too much. I prefer Versace Bright Crystal if i want something soft, feminine, sensual, fresh, long lasting, not overpowering, high quality perfume.
tatarinbars – :
I got this during mid-Summer 2012 just before it left the catalog. At first whiff I definitely smell the cashmere woods and the raspberry. However I don’t smell any aquatic notes nor do I smell vanilla. This is a nice scent, good for a hot day when you don’t want to over power people with fragrance. However, it is very light and fades quickly.
rermblulk – :
Easy on the nose, pink liquid, smells like Raspberry juice, light and refreshing. Retails at around £7 – 9. Very affordable. All Avon products are covered by a no quibble 90 day guarantee so give it a go.
DAUREN – :
Pretty perfume for casual use, but it has the strangest sillage ever , people around me smell it nicely but I don’t smell it myself…! ..Those who complain about the longevity of Avon perfumes nowadays , I never use a just bought perfume from Avon , I close it tightly as much as I can & keep it in my cool , dry and mostly dark wardrobe for cosmetic backup & storage till the juice is fermented and acquires the needed longevity ..I never use before at least six months of storage .
unikk – :
love this fragrance….
very feminine,
and the longevity quite good on me….
Киноман 13 – :
I bought this during the summer of 2012 because it was on discount and I just can’t pass up a good deal. Although it really is an ethereal scent like described by Avon, it is very light and doesn’t seem to stick to my skin. But it is very nice on hot days and is not offensive and my boyfriend doesn’t mind it.
psymusik – :
Thank you Fragrantica – this is a wonderful alternative to my long discontinued Raspberry Glacé by Victoria’s Secret. I am very happy with it!
EVIL2000 – :
Another freebie from my Avon rep because she couldn’t stand it.
A light, fresh scent, I definitely get the raspberry and this is what stays on my skin. This is not a sweet/juicy raspberry, but more like a fresh/floral raspberry.
Not bad for a freebie, but I tend to wear this on my days off or just kicking around the house.
Eryboarbakjax – :
What a gorgeous perfume this is!! REALLY uplifting and intoxicating!!
Another Avon treasure!
dostik – :
I really, really, like the scent of this but it just doesnt last very long =( That is the only flaw to it. It smells fabulous. Just carry it with you or take along the lotion to apply during the day to keep the scent going.
Tomqmi – :
To my disappointment it’s much too syrupy-sweet. I don’t like the ratio of the notes. The woody notes are supressed by the raspberry. I’d like it if it were greener, woodsier, softer and more powdery. It doesn’t stand out from the Avon fragrance line.
Xeroxsntyc – :
This fragrance is really good! I such love the raspberry scent! I love it!
VINZAO – :
Smells like soft, warm raspberry tea (even though tea isn’t a note and it might actually be the violet leaf, but it really does smell like tea!)
Really liking this fragrance! Really girly, but not seductive.
Unfortunately sillage is low, and lasting power is quite poor.
oleg210783 – :
Gross! Too plastic flower off smelling
stacan4ic – :
Similar red berry notes to Little Red Dress, but softer and muskier on the dry down, not so harsh and alcoholic a smell.
I like Avon fragrances, despite the snobbery, and am aware that they do not last long and sometimes can have a very similar base in a few scents- but for value for money, everyday fragrance that is pleasant and non invasive (like some more expensive brands…), Avon has the market!
moskalenkoan – :
yzg099bedyWelty – :
Nice, everyday modern fragrance – stays close to the skin, but leaves a mild fresh trail of aroma around the wearer. Lighter than Step Into Sexy, no alcohol/aftershave note like Infinite Moment.
Raspberry and violets, underpinned by soft woods. You have to lash it on to get any effect. Cute bottle, juice colour an appealing, edible pink.
elkast – :
Well ,finally i got it , and i couldn’t wait to sniff it , but unfortunately i was expecting more 🙁
It does smell lovely , raspberry with some woodsy notes but not fresh and watery , but powdery something soapy . I can wear it on spring and fall , also in summer nights only because it’s sweet and can be overwhelming in summer days *bugs could chase me*
It’s longlasting but the silage its poor , i can’t smell it without putting my nose close to my hand , so that’s a bad thing ..
I admit , it’s a beautiful perfume, feminine, romantic but it does smell cheap , that cheap that i can find the same smell in drugstore for 5$ .
I don’t regret buying it but i’m a bit disappointed , i was really expecting more from Avon and Zoe Saldana .
p.s At the drydown stage this perfume smells like Armani Code .
reimixtunnito – :
i tested it. i liked it. But i am not going to buy it because it smells cheap.
Gyncfroboff – :
Gorgeous sweet and fruity perfume! Quite sensual too!
Just a hidden treasure!
Locker – :
I discovered this little pink gem while walking behind a woman who smelled soooo good I had to stop her to ask the name of the fragrance.
I love violets in fragrances, whether the leaves, the flowers or both. Woodsy notes send me over the moon and my fragrance journey that began here on fragrantica revealed that raspberry notes truly tickle my fancy. Whatever the “watery” notes are, they lighten the sweetness to a fresh, open-air level. Eternal Magic Enchanted mixes all these notes in a creamy-smooth way that is absolutely delightful!
This is a very cheerful fragrance, very uplifting. Granted, its 3-4 hour longevity is a bit disappointing but I’ve paid far more for many that last fewer hours so overall I’m quite happy with my bottle (just under $11.00 USD). I just sent one to my mom as a surprise gift and will buy another for myself when mine is gone.
nka493bedyWelty – :
This is a Woody perfume that is dressed in Pink! It opens with raspberries & violet leaf and quickly morphs into a woody fragrance. From start to finish I get mildly fruity woody violets. The reviewers who found similarity with this and Avon’s “Step Into Sexy” is probably picking up on the same raspberry, violet leaf & woods combination. Except that this composition is lacking the warmth and powderiness of the amber in that perfume.
Enchanted stays close to the skin and vanishes all too fast. But that seems to be Avon’s modus operandi nowadays.
If you would like a more lasting version of this, also try Secret Angel by Victoria Secret.
vodjanoy – :
Berries, berries, berries. Eternal Magic Enchanted is a super sweet berry treat. I love it. It is super feminine indeed but sometimes I like to indulge my girly girl side.
Unfortunately the lasting power is nonexsistant. I have the body and lotion but even layering with those it disappears in minutes.
Slot22 – :
Well, be aware – this perfume is really for VERY romantic women. I like to be girly and sweet but this is overy “cheesy”. And relating to what sarage said in the below comment – I really didn`t like the Slip into neither. This is just this category of perfumes that is hard for me to accept. They both have Rasberry maybe that`s what I don`t like. In any case women in pink and silk dress and a little bit naive (not in worst sense) will enjoy.
senjtv – :
I have a new catalogue with the tester on the page. Very pleasant scent: raspberry, violet, cashmirewood. I don’t think the paper tester always reveals the full potential of the scent.
If you like Slip Into, you might like this, too. There is something similar.
Avon should really put more effort in creating more longlasting perfumes instead of making a new scent every 3 weeks (which is similar to some other Avon). More quality, please.
vavan76s – :
The cute bottle, the pale pink juice inside, the very very optimistic notes – made me purchase it without even try it 🙂 . It’s like a garden of Eden , so so feminine ….
