It’s alright for philosophy. It’s really just a basic floral fragrance. Forgettable.

As usual from the Grace range, it’s initially fresh, this one starts off smelling very green and definitely makes you think of freshly laundered washing drying over a lawn. However, more recently and bear with me here, I get an underlying tone of cooking fat/oil mixed into the laundry smell! Could just be as the perfume has aged.

I do tree sprays to get som lasting power out of this one. when I wear this I feel like an elf in the Lord of the Rings (at one with nature). Very clean but not like detergent. My favorite of the Grace line.

Hmmmm…I think I had a big change out heart with this Fragrance. Eternal Grace is bright, fresh, sparkly, and a little zesty. Perfect for hot summer days! Bergamot is definitely the shining star of this fragrance giving it a super fresh vibe. I’m actually quite surprised I’m liking this so much, after trying it a few times I kind of wrote it off as being boring. It actually is a little interesting, since its another violet fragrance I can wear. The violet is smooth and not overly powdery. The lavender in this make it a little spicy and it is enveloped in a cozy white musk. Since it is a lighter scent I don’t mind spraying on a little more to get some lasting power. A few extra sprays makes it pretty long lasting compared to 30min or so, I get 4-6 hours. I don’t mind respraying it, since it super refreshing. As I said earlier this is great for hot days and it never turns sour on my skin. I think it would also be a great fragrance to wear to the gym. I was about to give this away to a friend of mine, but I think I will be hanging on to it for now. 😀
Update: Considering that I thought about giving it away. This has now become my go to scent when I just want smell clean. Also if the weather is cooler the longevity of the fragrance significantly goes up. I’ve gotten it to last on my skin a full day before ^_^

I bought this scent and actually returned it to Sephora after one use because it disappeared in 30 minutes. The sales associate told me that Philosphy products are designed to be layered, and that I needed the body lotion as a foundation for the perfume if I expected any lasting power. I haven’t tried that approach yet. Has anyone found this to be effective?

Fresh and light, boring in a way, but perfect for work. I enjoy the dry drown as I get calming hints of Bergamont, citrus, and Lavendar. In fact it reminds me of Lavendar bath salts… Dr. Teals I get for a steal at my grocery store.

Very fresh, light, and happy fragrance. Too bad that sillage and longevity are weak. Will not buy again for that reason.

I have to agree with other reviewers about the amount of perfume you have to apply to get one hour’s smell when it comes to Philosophy EDTs, and this is no exception. In fact it is the complete opposite of its name when it comes to longevity! Maybe they could rename it to ‘Short-term Grace’, it would be more appropriate! It has a zingy synthetic feel to it, nothing exceptional I’m afraid but OK for day wear.

I recieved this perfume as a gift a few months back, I love the clean fresh scent but really dislike the fact that I have nearly finished the whole bottle!
It is a light perfume perfect for wearing to work as it is unlikely to offend people, or give them headaches.
I wear it everyday and use about six sprays, it will only last a few hours. I wouldn’t buy again but I adore the citrus smell and it is perfect for the daytime.

I got this in the mini perfume wardrobe sold at Nordstrom Rack and am giving it a try. Like Amazing Grace, it suffers from lack of sillage and longevity. Unlike Amazing Grace, this is more grassy, with a touch of citrus that I don’t find harsh at all – even at first. It is pleasant and professional, not at all aggressive. I wish it were stronger and more complex, but for what it is, it is still satisfying. I doubt I would buy it by itself though.

This fragrance is soooooooo sexy, soft and feminine. when first sprayed in the shop I thought it was a bit strong for a philosophy perfume and walked off.
Well lowe and behold, when i got home that evening I could smell this beautiful sexy egyptian musk / white musk fragrance put i couldn’t put my finger on it. Then my hubby approach’s me with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye asking me what perfume have I got on, then 5 minutes later my daughter comes back from walking the dog and ask me whats that nice scent iam wearing.
Any way ladies iam telling you with my hand on my heart do try this fragrance, it also last for about 5 hours on me.
It smells like narciso rodriguez for her, body shop white musk and egyptian musk mixed together when it dry’s down. However when you first spray it, it does come across a a little harsh. But you’ll love it int the end.

This perfume does start off a bit harsh, but the dry down is nice. It’s a little citrusy, but I can smell neroli more than anything else. To me, this perfume seems pretty “earthy” and mellow. Not floral at all. I was surprised to see this perfume has amber in it – I normally cannot stand anything with amber! I do like this perfume, so the amber must not be that strong (at least to my nose!)

I completely agree with the previous review. Eternal Grace does start off very sharp. However, give it a chance. After a while, when you catch a whiff, it is a very fresh and light scent. It lasted about 5 hours on me, and would be a good scent to wear to work or school when you don’t want to be overpowering.

Eternal Grace starts off a little too sharp for me–all I could detect in the beginning was the smell of grass. But after about 5 minutes, that sharpness literally evaporates and what is left is a very soft and fresh scent. It makes me feel like I’ve just stepped out of the shower! I do smell the citrus and a bit of the passion fruit, but it’s very light.. almost too light. Overall, this is a very safe and soothing scent. It’s a shame that the drydown doesn’t last longer than an hour and a half on my skin 🙁

This fragrance is so fresh! Not sweet, not too harsh just pure fresh. It does last, i like to use it after bath or shower, straight on my skin. It is not srong so yu can use it more. I love the scent. The passion fruit is coming trough nicely. I like it!
