I felt that I needed to delete my first review of Eternal Gardenia – otherwise they would be sitting next to each other like two sisters from different polar zones 🙂 – so here is the final, second one:
Eternal Gardenia was never going to be „love“ but „like“ for me. However after wearing it more regularly for the pass month, (applying sparingly – 2 sprays) I have to admit that it is now sadly on the verge of „dislike“. I find it too sweet (nearly headache inducing) although after the first hour of application it is a little bit less powerful but the sweetness seems to be a bit too much for me to deal with. The only way I am going to wear it and use it up is to layer it under Cerruti 1881 Pour Femme, which helps to tone down that troublesome intensity. This syrupy combination of notes (to my opinion more floral fruity than gourmand) has a strong character but without a doubt I will not repurchase Eternal Gardenia in the future again.

It should be nectarine, gardenia, patchouli and benzoin.
