It’s pleasing to be the first person to review a fragrance. I will begin by saying this is good, but not for the reason I anticipated. Looking at the notes I expected a lot more complexity built around the leather and tobacco. Both are there but as hints, nothing more. What stands out is the juniper, cypress and incense though no one note is truly distinct. They combine to create a spicy herbal nuance combined with an unmistakable but unusual animalic note (probably the leather). In short this is like a mash-up between Honour Man and Antaeus but not as good as either. It doesn’t quite add up to the sum of its parts but it’s good. There’s no mistaking the quality of the ingredients and the blending. A solid 7.5/10.
