When I saw that one can get a 100 ml bottle of this Nathalie Larson creation for 10 euros I broke my 500th no more perfume resolution of the year, and blind bought one. At least it is a cheap disappointment.
The opening is awesome, sparkling spices, the ginger is great, little pepper, and the citruses are fresh and yummy, I’ve wanted a grapefruit scent for so long, and the opening of this is just amazing.
But it doesn’t last long; it dries down to a clean, inoffensive, boring Lacoste Pour Femme like scent. Almost no lasting power or projection. Way too clean and inoffensive for my taste. Lacoste Pour Femme, with even less strength, and a promising and exciting but short lived start. Perhaps sprayed on clothes it can retain the top notes for longer. On the up side the nozzle gives a very fine mist of spray. The bottle looks nice but the cap is a bit loose. The package looks good but I didn’t get it because I bought a tester, who cares about another box.
Funny that, besides giving the Lacoste Pour Femme impression, it could be quite unisex, or, rather it’s genderless or sexless.
I got this thinking that one can’t get enough cheap summer scents because so many of them doesn’t last long, especially compared to my beloved orientals. But most cheap summer scents are more exciting than this.
If you work in an office in contemporary US, this must be perfect for that, it smells like fresh laundry. For the rest of the world, it’s boring. But the opening is still great and mouthwatering! Keep the top notes and make this a great piece!
I guess the best way to use this is to spray a little then carry around the bottle and keep topping it up, it needs to be reapplied at least hourly anyway. This way the lovely sparkling yummy grapefruit, tangerine and bergamot comes back more regularly.
Update in January: the good part actually lasts longer now, and it’s a pleasant and interesting one. Who cares anyway if it’s only the top notes, in the era of watered down fumes with poor longevity this opening in itself is worth it.

It starts off very citrusy and fresh. The ginger and the pepper add a twist of spiciness to it, which is really nice. It lasted on me for 8 hours, but it became close to the skin after 3 hours of wear. The drydown is sweet, like lemonade with lots and lots of sugar.

I got it in swap, and I must say it is very nice, especially for summer time. A grapefruit based scent, with a tendency to go toward aquatic style. It is fresh, quite young smelling, a bit juicy. Silage is very soft, which I like, because strong scents and me don’t get along. Sadly the lasting power isn’t great. Nevertheless, very pleasant, and great for heat waves, I assume. Quite complex in composition, but extremely delicate… good for carefree daytime summer days. I think it could even be unisex, possibly smelling very crisp and sexy on the right man, but surely better for a woman.

Tested it today. Not bad fresh scent. But not so interesting. So I’ve bought their Ambre Frais (why there isn’t any information about it in the fragrantica base?)
