Description

The new fresh fragrance from Versace is Versace Eros Pour Femme Eau de Toilette, launching in the summer of 2016. The scent is a new version of the original Versace Eros Pour Femme from 2014, which paired up with the popular men’s edition Eros from 2012.

The original composition, recognizable by the scent of lemon blossom and jasmine, is refreshed by additional citruses, berry fruits and the Calone molecule. The Eau de Toilette begins with a combination of Sicilian lemon, mandarin, raspberry, white currant and Calone. The heart of jasmine contains additional white floral aromas of freesia, magnolia and orange blossom absolute. White patchouli, woods, ambrox and musk are rounding the composition off in the base.

The bottle design is identical to the original, except for its transparent middle part, which this time doesn’t have a metal placard over it. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

The simplicity of this fragrance is disarming, yet still has its uniqueness and particularity, given by the note of freesia, imo.
I madly love freesia, fortunately it works well with my chemistry, and I love the way it’s blended here.
Eros EDT is a tasty lemonade, not so simple as such as a lemonade. Raspberry, freesia and citrus are so refreshing. Freesia adds its peculiar, elegant note.
The bottle is superb and lets the liquid glimpse also on the front, unlike the eau de parfum. That’s why I like it.

Like Acqua di Gioia without the mint note. I think I like this better. Longevity very good too.
Edit to add: I sprayed this this morning at 7:30. It lasted until 6:30. For an edt that’s insane! Love it!!

As a man, I bought this for my lady. She craves it. For an Eau De Toilette, this stuff smells awesomely fresh, better than the par fum.

If you like sweet fruity fragrance (with prominent raspberry, but not cloying and pretty fresh), you will like this Eros EDT. It is totally different than the Eros EDP version (the EDP is very woody on my skin while the EDT is very sweet). Eros EDT reminds me of some other sweet fruity frags but it also still carries the DNA of Versace house.
Versace Eros EDT is not a ground breaking fragrance but it is very enjoyable, cheerful, young and fresh. The bottle is gorgeous in person. I love it.

A delicious, sweet, tangy, hard-candy citrus over discrete florals. Very light and low longevity, so that makes it perfect for summertime! I have been overspraying Eros Femme EDT when I go to the gym! I like it much better than the EDP which got so cloying after an hour.
    I wish this came in a bodyspray/bodymist.
Pick up the .33oz/10ml for $20 and you’ll thank me later.

Raspberry lemonade that’s what I smell. With some musk in the dry down. I don’t smell white patchouli. I don’t get much florals at all. Which is ok because that’s the reason why I didn’t like the EDP because it was too floral for my taste. It just smells yummy.

I love fresh scents, they are my favourites. If you like Versace Pour Femme and Versense you’re gonna like Eros as well.
I was looking for something fresh and sweet at the same time that i could wear at summer nights too. Eros Pour Femme is a perfect choice.
And it has that Versace elegant signature all their fragrances share. My favourite house!

I did my first blind buy.Eros edt gift set was on offer blink blink. It is not what I go for in general but I won’t cry my eyes out. It settles into a pleasant modern type of citrusy musky smell. It reminds me of Aqua di gioia which I gave away to my mother, but less sugary. To my nose Eros edt also has some common qualities with Chanel Chance eau Tendre and other modern musky sweeties. It’s really musky on my skin all the way.

This low key is in the same family as Acqua di gioia, of course not as magical.
Fresh lemony sweet sugary type of drink type of scent
    lmao
is nice , i like it

As previous reviews have pointed out, the Versace Eros pour femme bottles do not represent the yellow juice inside. Where you think, by the bottle and house, it’ll be a sensually alluring and somewhat deep fragrance that can hold its own, it is actually a pleasant, safe, light, little flirtatious, and not serious scent.
The eau de toilette is what the eau de parfum should have been in my opinion! [Comparing both side by side as I type…] The EdP is not quite as juicy and uplifting, and dries down into an almost soapy skin scent – it feels a bit more generic and perfumey too. The EdT is linearly composed of “summery” juicy fruits with slightly sparkling and sugary citrus.
The initial blast is a gentle whoosh of juicy fruits, and somewhat bright yet sweet (must be the Mandarin Orange) and rounded citrus. The citrus aspect is not of the tangy/zesty or nose hair-burning type. On the dry down, the gently sweet citrus settles into a supporting role to highlight the synthetic Calone (provides for more of that almost “melon-like juiciness”) and rasberry, which is not obviously rasberry as in Giorgio Armani’s Because It’s You, and non-descript white florals. It remains this way through and through. I would say that the ambroxan and patchouli provide for more longevity (without a real olfactory presence) as this base anchors the overall scent into my hair for a couple of days. It is also warm but in the way that wafts of dryer-sheet-smell (perhaps carried by the barely there musk and woody notes) hit your nose from the pile of fresh laundry you just plopped on your bed but with added sugary citrus – which I happen to happily vibe with. The EdP is even more dryer sheet-like but in a perfumey way.
I’ve recently gone into a debt-inducing perfume journey and out of all the variants of floral/fruity/aquatics that I’ve tested and bought, I can rely on Eros pour femme EdT to not blast my nose with any form of sharpness.
Longevity is suprisingly on the longer end of moderate for a light, fruity floral whereas sillage is soft to moderate. Spray your hair!!
For a pleasant, juicily sweet citrus and fruity floral I recommend trying this decant. She can be worn in any season really but more so during the days of lukewarm temperature. I am not sure how the notes will pull during blistering heat but I would imagine it would either go sweeter citrus (perhaps cloyingly…), or noticeably more Calone/rasberry.
Uniqueness: It’s not revolutionary or standout but it’s also not done by every designer house on the market.
Personality: It’s not quite classy or elegant, or overtly comfortable or frilly… It’s some type of casual that I’ll let you decide for yourself.
I imagine a younger audience of individuals gravitating towards this but the right body chemistry has no age!
TIP: I suggest purchasing this at a discounted price online rather than forking over the full retail value.
The bottle is a little gaudy but I’m glad that it’s as extra as I feel 🙂

Unfortunately, on my skin it’s not sweet, nor do I get fruit notes.
It’s also quite masculine scent if you’re looking for something like this.

I had this in the EDP concentration first last summer. While I did really like it, I didn’t see myself wearing it enough and swapped it.
This EDT however, is what I think I was looking for the first time when I got the EDP. The raspberry note made this perfume. The lemon and raspberry together make this sweet in a raspberry lemonade kind of way, along with being fresh.
if you are looking for a lemon scent with a bit of sweetness, the EDT is the one. If you want something more of a pure citrus fresh blast, then the EDP is better suited for you.

This is a great summer scent! It’s floral, citrusy and quite sweet. It has an elegant feel to it as well. The longevity is not that impressive, but it’s alright for an edt.

I tested this blindly and lemon drops are what came to mind. This is w nice citrus with good longevity with a bit of sugary sweetness. More like the tart drink with a sugared rim than a candied lemon. The floral notes and some sandalwood are noticable, but never the star. I plan on remembering this if I want a good citrus.

  15. :

This is an improved version of the EDP. The EDP smelled like soap, this one smells fresh, but without that detergent quality of the original one. This one is sweeter too (but not cloying) what i really like. It smells light and feminine, really pleasant.
I think it is a very good perfume for spring.
Try this one if you like soft fruity fragrances.

My wife got this. I love it because it doesn’t make me sick. I can breathe it in non stop and still want more. It gets better as it blends into the skin, which it does really well, at least with her.

Like others, I agree that there is nothing erotic about this fragrance.
This, however, does not make it a bad perfume (at most it suggests that the title is misleading). This is a pleasant fragrance, gets compliments and is suited for spring or summer.
The musk, amber and sandalwood base notes give depth to an otherwise fresh, light and floral mix.
The sillage on this one is good, but the longevity is not, so you will have to re-apply during the day.

It is a nice, generic, non complicated scent. Light fruity and a little sweet, very very gentle. I was very disappointed with longevity, as it only lasted for 1 hour on my wrist… 🙁 It is very different from the original aquatic EDP. I am glad I got a sample of this – will not be looking for a full size bottle 🙂

This is the next to buy on my want list. I like the fruity freshness of this scent. In our country we do not have raspberries or white currant berries, so I dont know what it smells like… but is sure smells a lot like mangoes and citrus to me. On my skin this smells like sweet sun-dried mangoes. Since I live in a tropical country this fits right in. I don’t see this as sexy, but this smells fresh and alluring without trying too hard. This can easily be a everyday, day to night scent.
This is a scent to wear if you want to smell likable.
*update: I got my hands on a huge bottle of this! My husband adores this!

Smells like a better version of Sugar Lemon by Fresh It’s pretty but I’d never buy this. Don’t even understand why this would be part of the Eros line. There’s nothing erotic about this scent. Zero. Nada.

Holy hot air balloon! What is it about this amazing fragrance that I just can’t get enough of? It’s extremely similar to Yellow Diamond and Yellow Diamond Intense (both of which I own and adore). The lemon in this is pure heaven. This sweet fruity-floral makes me imagine walking through the English countryside under fluffy white clouds while drinking lemonade on the way to a fair. It’s so pretty and uplifting. Much nicer than the EDP version which is a bit run-of-the-mill.

very different from the eau de parfum, Eros eau de toilette is so fruity ! raspberry and lemon <3 Not original but addictive and sexy.

I’ve just taken my first whiff after acquiring a very slightly used 100ml bottle at a phenomenal price. It was a blind buy based purely on reviews I’ve read here and off course the $100 discount (off retail price) played a major factor. I had no idea what to expect as I’ve never owned a Versace perfume of any type whatsoever. The packaging & bottle is very impressive and it certainly feels Versace.
Before opening the box, I could already smell it and was worried that it may be leaking somewhere, as it is a slightly used bottle (maybe missing 5mls). But nope, wasn’t leaking, it was simply just the projection from the bottle. Hard to detect if there are florals in these tops notes as its all about the fruit blast. If you sniff hard enough, you can make out the citrus infused raspberries. It smells like a summer fruit cocktail & will work very well throughout the warmer seasons.

The longevity is quite poor in this fragrance. However, it has beastly sillage!! When I went over to surprise my boyfriend a while ago, I remember that I wore this fragrance and still to this date, I am shocked by his reaction as well other people as of late when I wear this. He was about 20 yards away from me as he was entering his apartment complex and I was on the steps leading to the 1st storey. He immediately yelled “I can smell that you’re here!” It completely ruined the surprise but, I still to this date LOVE the sillage and projection!! Wish it had similar longevity because on my skin, it lasts about a maximum of 2 hours.. Breaks my heart!! Does anyone know if the EDP has better longevity? Let me know 🙂

I love the smell, I truly love it. Sweet citrus is always my favorite but there is no longevity at all. I live near tropical line and the weather is like 25-35 celcius all year, so, this last like 30-45 minute on my skin and then all gone.

  26. :

Wonderful and sexy fragrance, but unfortunally
it doesn’t last at all on my skin.

Beautifully composed. Citrus, lemony, floral, light and airy. Not heavy in the sense that it’s overpowering (it is and EDT), but lasts long. And yes, i do smell raspberry!! 🙂 I picture Italy or Sicily on a sunny, breezy summer day, walking past citrus trees…thats what i assume it smells like that over there after getting to know this fragrance. Nonetheless, on my travel wish list. MUST… VISIT.. SOMEDAY! =D

My nose can’t detect any flowers in this. All I can smell is peach yoghurt with a hint of citruses. It smells 70% identical to Bright Crystal and Yellow Diamond, but those had more personality imho. A safe gift for any girl/woman regardless of age, because this scent won’t offend anyone and smells nice. It’s a scent for those days when you don’t feel like wearing anything at all.

I don’t consider myself a lover of sweet/citrus scents (I might not have tried this if I knew lemon was the main note) but I love this! I much prefer this over the EDP version, which is a different scent. The EDP is very lemony, it’s missing the notes that I love in this. The EDP is more mature, but in a boring way imo. I’ve only sampled this (EDT) I don’t own it but it seems to have pretty good longevity for an EDT.
Update: I also like the EDP now, maybe even prefer it. EDT might be too sweet for me.

Just accompany my girlfriend to get her a very 1st perfume, was no idea wwhat kind of notes she like.We was spent sometimes in the department store to get a test spray from few brands.Until we sniff versace eros pur femme,Omg this is such a wonderfull fragrance that we try so far.It could be her signature scent or date scent. It kinda sweet but not over sweet and there is a hint of vanilla in it..The drydown was perfect ,meanwhile the longevity and sillage are very good .I could easily detect her smell from the scent trail.Hope she like it

Loving this one. The ambroxan and patchouli with the woods and musk make for a great warm luminous base and sets this apart from most citrus scents. It’s beautiful warm sweet and rounded , I get many compliments wearing this and really enjoy it . Now I wonder if I should go check out the EDP again see if I change my mind and like it as well.
This scent reminds me of mason Margielas untitled , which is just a bit greener in the beginning but settles into the same woody musk amber creamy scent than this one. Another one that people ask about when I wear it. Fresh , lemony but warm and smooth and ambery creamy in the base. If you like this try untitled. It’s even better.

I got this in a sampler trying to decide which perfume to get. It’s sweet but fresh, very pleasant. I probably would get this one because I like it…but less than an hour later and it’s gone, I smell nothing.

  33. :

very sweet fruity floral. i smell mostly over-sugary raspberry. this is a fragrance that is a mixture of sweet fruits and flowers without anything else (musk or wood) to balance it out. not my taste at all.

Smells great!! I just received it, and what a pleasant surprise!! Bright, juicy, the raspberry smells very nice, and then the freesia comes into play.., a great medley of white florals, soft and smooth, nothing screechy, what a bright luminous great smelling perfume !!! I bought only a 30 ml, but might buy a bigger bottle next spring.
Longevity is ok, not best…much better than EDP in my views which didn’t speak to me!
It is fresh with a hint of lemon, but it isn’t citrusy if it makes sense!!
    Liking it a lot!!
Update: longevity is poor, too bad, but still pleasant to wear!!

  35. :

This is a very nice scent, the kind that gets attention for sure.
I like it better than the EDP version. Citruses and raspberry mix together very nicely in it, I admire that composition.
I really enjoy the freshness and lightness of citrus and sweetness and juiciness of raspberry.
    It’s lovely.

I just tested this today in Munich airport duty free shop, had no idea Versace launched the edt…most prominent notes are Sicilian lemon and raspberry (I remember it was marked as raspberry sorbet on the back of the bottle) so a bit sweet but very refreshing – it reminded me a bit of Tresor Midnight Rose but less sweet (cut by lemon).
Much better than the original edp -which I now want to test again anyway- and still going after 10 hours even if now it’s more of a skin scent. Beautiful and definitely on my to buy list!

A lot better than the first Eros! Top notes are great and base notes are very pleasant. Only middle notes are not satisfactory because it smells like pure jasmine, no more depth or sophistication. What a shame! However, I must say that it’s quite nice scent.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

I have to say that this verion has nothing common with the Eros EDP,or just a hint.
BUT…….this version is lot more softer, fruitier with flowers in the background.Sweet, but fresh. It is a very lovely smell like an Escada summer edition perfume.
I can smell lot of lemon with raspberry maybe orange with musk and jasmine. At fist it´s veeery fruity like a punch with lot lot lot of raspberry and other fruits,I have to say it´s like pineapple. When it´s start to calm down the jasmine and the lemon is intensive but there is the fruity feeling. The dry down however is musky-fruity-floral(I´think the lemon, raspberry, jasmine, musk combo).
It is a more fresher, fruitier composition.Ideal for summer as the EDP.The longevity is good,it last all day.The bottle now is very lovely too. When you love fresh-fruity summer perfumes this is the perfect choice for you.
