Envoutant? Revolt-ant you may say.
Revolting: it smell like vitamin-Candy, medications, and old style rose with honey/beeswax.
Smell like the closet of the sister of your grandmother.
Reminds me Chai de Piguet

This is my favorite from Francesca dell’Oro – the opening on this little gem is simply to die for!
“Envoutant” opens with such a weird mixture of aoud and osmanthus! I think this is the first time I’ve tried this sort of combination and as oddly it seems, it works perfectly! The sweetness of osmanthus mixed with ruberry and sharp accord of aoud is simply stunning! It’s playful, balancing on being too feminine/too masculine all the time. Simply gorgeous and masterful!
BUT. As with few others from Francesca dell’Oro – it lacks everything else except the opening. Heart/drydown is boring and bland – close to skin. The same old amber + aoud vibe I’ve tried before, but with added weirdness. All in all – after the first 10 minutes I was thinking I’d be purchasing this soon, but I was left dissapointed.
A really good try on mixing something different together, but it still lacks some depth at the parts that matters most!
