strah-trah – :
I found this at a perfume shop at a nearby mall. I had trouble with an allergic reaction to a perfume and I had actually wanted a different selection but the name brand one went funky on me. I tried this on and after wearing it, I ran back and purchased it. The next time I went to the mall the place was closed. I’d loved to get more but can’t find it.
It is more floral than fruity, it isn’t over the top strong but it has more lasting power than most ‘softer’ scents.
I am allergic to honeysuckle which seems to be in a lot of scents lately. I seem to be also allergic to peony and gardenia, also very popular.
On the Paris Bleu website, this scent is described as “This beautiful harmony opens on a fruity exotic accord where the heart, crispy and sweet with Pear, delicately melds with Lotus Blossom and the mysterious seductive Black Orchid. All the sensuality of the dry down shows its opulence with warm and voluptuous blend of Liquid Amber, Muscs and Champaca Flower.”
Aha! Now I understand, the pear isn’t a teenage fruity but still very sweet. At first I didn’t like the underlying Amber scent but that grounds the scent to keep it from being too floral and sweet. Now I need to find more of this or a new scent.
Everyone loves this on me.
