A true masterpiece in the fragrance world. The only fragrance that I can think of that gets better with reformulations. Nothing today can top this let alone beat it. Lasts all day

Very elegant and sophisticated smell. Its suited perfectly for professional settings. Been wearing it a lot this year, especially when signing contracts.

Modern day scents and their sweet, metrosexual vibe just aren’t doing it for me now. Sometimes you have to unearth a gem from the 90’s to find exactly what you are looking for, I’ve taken my sweet time but done exactly that.
Citrus, sandalwood and florals (Notably lavender) blend to create a soapy barbershop scent, but for those jumping to conclusions it’s absolutely not dated and actually very wearable in 2018. Without being too dramatic, I believe Chanel Platinum Egoiste and it’s simplicity has really opened my eyes to real Masculinity in perfume.
    Just wonderful.
    10/10
Side note: They’re have been comparisons to Mont Blanc Legend (I enjoy) and although I agree there are similarities, CPE is less sweet and more sophisticated IMO.

Chanel Egoiste Platinum makes me associate with an expensive metal watch. Laconic, not blatant, with a hint of cold and some shine. For those who prefer not to scatter words, but to prove their point by deed. Longetivity is great, 8+ hours, the sillage is moderate to heavy. Generally, one of the best designer fragrances, especially if you’re 30+ years old. 8,5/10.

@MrNoseitall I think you’re reviewing Egoiste. This is the page for Platinum Egoiste. But I agree with every word of your review.

So much quality for a designer.. guaranteed more oil concentrated than 95% of designer fragrances. Citruses morph into cinnamon waxy candy vibe vanilla sensual clean comforting smoky musk with citruses reamaining to pop out anytime the oil is triggered by a form of moisture. Great for fall/winter as the Smokey warm sensual vanilla spices depict the season change and comfort of maybe a wood fire between thanksgiving and Christmas but you still just left the barber a few hours before. Almost as cozy as Nuit de l’homme but lasts three times as long easily.

The distance between Egoiste Platinum and Original Egoiste has to be greater than any other flanker ever made.

  8. :

I love this one. I have the original Egoiste, and to me, they smell nothing like each other. This one is much more fresh, citrusy, and almost aquatic. But not in a simple, basic way. It still has a complexity and masculinity to the DNA just like the original Egosite (although, again, they smell nothing alike).

This smells like you pulled up in the red coupe with the rally stripe. Step on the asphalt with your wood bottom soft leather shoes. Step in to the barber shop like the man. The guy gets together a deep herbal sour splash to prepare your face and then uses what’s left of those ingredients to whip up a creamy rich hot lather. You smell the straight blade and the rich lather. You peel off to pick up bottles and a date.
My ex can’t stand the open but Loves this in the dry down.
    Rich, sexy. Christopher Wallace.
My best friend loved Chris Wallace and was born and died in March. Every March this is my signature scent in honour of them.

I’m with the reviewers who perceive the similarity to Azzaro Chrome. Of course, they’re not identical, Platinum Egoiste seems to have a better/cleaner construction (no clashing notes). But both are metallic cold, fresh and active, undoubtedly masculine and remind me of an archetypal men’s deodorant from the 90s. Actually, the roll-on deodorant I’m using now smells a bit similar, but, of course, doesn’t have the lasting power.
    ***
So, after a few “test drives”, I wore it to the office, about 2 regular sprays (4 small decant sprays). Apparently, I overdid it, because it appeared very harsh and synthetically bitter (it was literally hurting my nose), and made me very self-conscious. After 3 hours, I capitulated and tried to scrub it off in the bathroom. It’s hard for me to imagine that anybody could have performance issues with this one. The whole experience was very similar to wearing Azzaro Chrome. In small doses, it might work as a very long lasting and expensive deodorant (clean associations). Overspray, and you will feel as if inhaling deodorant fumes straight from the bottle.

Quite possibly the closest thing to perfection in a modern designer barbershop aromatic. I can’t think of a scenario where this fragrance wouldn’t fit the occasion – that’s how agreeable it is (to my nose, anyway). Fantastic opening with a very pleasant greenish bitterness (somewhat in a similar vein to GIT albeit in a different composition altogether) that opens up into pure and lasting smoothness. Absolutely wonderful work by Mr. Polge and Chanel.
That said, I think that like other Chanel products, it’s a bit pricey for what it is. For a nice daily driver at a great bang for your buck, I highly recommend Franck Olivier’s Eau de Passion. It’s an oddly misnamed but phenomenally close replica available at a fraction of the price.

This smells nothing like either Eternity or Chrome, at least to my nose (though both are great frags). I’ve owned all of the above and they couldn’t be more distinct. Just putting that out there, lest some hapless reader sees a review below and is led to believe he needn’t bother trying Platinum Egoiste because Calvin Klein and Azzaro offer cheaper substitutes. You MUST try this. There are no substitutes. You can thank me later 😉

A legendary fragrance. I’m 32years old and this has been one of my go to fragrances for years. I always get complimented. The opening is a metallic citrus with geranium. And this stays for the life of the fragrance just add the lavender and sandalwood. And that’s the whole fragrance. Longevity wise it’s a little less than the original formulation. But it’s still has enough power to get through the day. I carry this in my camera bag. I’m a fashion photographer in Los Angeles and female agency directors and models always ask me what I’m wearing.
    Scent 8.5/10
    Longevity: 7/10
    Silage : 7/10
    Compliment factor :8/10

The best opening i have ever experienced in any fragrance, i have the older taller bottle and i thought the performance was poor but now realise my nose shuts off to it quite early on. Although different i think this is at the top with azzaro pour homme vintage , rive gauche and pour monsieur edp. This is so clean , crisp with a little powder that makes it smell so typically chanel . If you have never got your nose on this you are missing out on what in my opinion is one of the best scents ever created. my next buy will be a bottle of the latest version to use instead of using up all my older bottle that i cant stop spraying to get that amazing opening. A perfect signature that is wearable in all seasons and situations. compliments galore . pure class.

This smells quite close to CK Eternity, which you can purchase for half the price. I don’t think those experienced with fragrances would be able to tell the difference between CK Eternity & Platinum Egoiste. The projection and longevity is also extremely weak (it becomes a skin scent after 30 mins), which may be due to the reformulation.
Smells great though as it is a timeless classic.

Another reviewer said that this is “the best aromatic fragrance money can buy” and I am tempted to agree with that. To my nose, this is playful elegance in a bottle. I cannot speak to the vintage formulations but I got a sample from Sephora the other day and have thoroughly enjoyed wearing this and will definitely be getting a bottle ASAP. It is a little fruity and floral at the top with woodiness/spice coming through in the dry down. But do not let that fool you, this fragrance definitely leans masculine. I sprayed it on my wrist around 1pm and was still getting whiffs of it in the air around 9:30 pm, so I can only imagine how the original performed. For those getting poor performance out of this, I would assume it comes down to skin chemistry because I get above average performance with this. I made my girlfriend smell this and she thought it was excellent and actually preferred it over many other “heavy-hitter” fragrances I own. I am 23 years old and wore it to work and got a few compliments. Those saying this fragrance is for the older/mature crowd are right to a certain extent. A high school teenager would have a hard time pulling this off, but guys in their 20s with mature personalities could easily wear this. And I get how people are saying this doesn’t smell unique/original but you have to remember, this fragrance was created in the 90s after which many other modern-day fragrances were modeled after. But personally, I do think this is quite unique smelling. I have not smelled any other fragrance that smells exactly like this. It gives off a similar vibe as YSL L’homme. I am not saying they smell the same, I am just saying that it is pleasantly light and airy the same way L’homme is but sexier and classier. Overall, one of my new favorites!

Agree with all the positive reviews without even reading them. The smell is amazing. But. And it’s a big but for recent chanel products. 20 years ago you can say if someone wearing Egoiste platinum eau de toilette was in the room. I used to be able to find a colleague of mine location in a big building.
Not anymore. I have a deodorant that lasts longer. Perhaps they think I should spray it every 30 minutes whilst still paying same money as before?
And this isn’t a subjective view. I have done tests. Joop lasts. Chanel doesn’t anymore. Spoke to a sales woman recently – she had nothing to say. Perhaps for a reason.
    Shame….

You have just gotten out of the shower, and shaved with a straight razor.
I would almost place this as a fougere. It’s masculine, clean, and fresh. It is a sexy fragrance. I really like it.
I get 12+ hours with this.
Great masculine classic – well-blended, clean, sexy.
    Must-buy.

One of my favourites for more formal occasions.
Spicy citrus, with a metallic edge.
I think of it as kind of corporate shirt and tie, but I still wear it for casual use as:
    1. I rarely wear a shirt and tie.
    2. I simply like the smell.
    My favourite from Chanel.

  21. :

I love sniffing Egoiste Platinum from someone else, but unfortunately because of my skin chemistry, it just turned out sour like citrusy B.O. on my skin…..if this hadn’t happened, I would have bought it. What a shame!
The juice itself is very high quality – the longevity and the sillage is good, too.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

One of the best aromatics money can buy
6 to 8 hours longevity and fair to weak projection on me
You get a aromatic nature, white resin, grape nuance, and soft sweetness
Overall I respect it and my dad loves it, but it does not fit my tase.
    Miles better than silver scent
The sillage off this one is beautiful and the star here

A wonderful modern, lighter take on a barbershop type fragrance. It is herbal, metallic, quite fresh and very masculine.
On my skin the opening is sharp with the strong metallic note. Then it dries down to a much more balanced woody, herbal aromatic.
Although it is not an aquatic it did make me think of Cool Water and CK Eternity. Both of those have that 90’s freshness and use a lot of lavender. However this is of much superior quality. It smells classier and more refined, compared to the cheap synthetic smell of today’s formulation of CW.
As others have said, the image it conjures is of a successful younger businessman with refined character and taste. It is not a shouter or the latest club “panty-dropper”. It smells sophisticated and confident, but not in a try hard kind of way.
Overall a great option if you want a fresh, more mature fragrance that is classy and different from the usual aquatic and citrus options. My new daytime signature!

  25. :

@endymion i totally agree. It’s not like these fragrances are cheap. Platinum Egoiste is one of my favourite scents. Different to most others. Class in a bottle. I am half way through a bottle with decent longetivity but that is because it was purchased a few years back. I am conserving because I am afraid the new formulation is weak as many of the reviews have suggested. Why would I want to pay $140 for a fragrance which lasts 4 hours? These companies are taking us for a ride and enough is enough!

  26. :

    @02098888
Maybe because we got used to that our decent EDTs lasted for ~10-12 hours (some are even for 24 hours like Kouros, Joop! Homme or the original A*Men) and not 3-6 hours??? And because Eau de Colognes used to last for 3-4 hours?
That’s because we can exepct this, because we got used to that. Capis?
It’s pretty sad that you take it as valid i an EDT lasts for only 4 hours.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

Stop complaining like “oh it’s shame that it only lasts for around 3-6 hours.” How can you expect an EDT to last for 12 hours?

Kind of a bad generic opening upon testing at Sephora. Easily forgettable. But I smelled my wrist about 30 minutes later was surprised that the cologne transformed. My female friend smelled my wrist and was like wow what is that. I honestly can’t tell you what I smelled, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My friend said that was easily the best one she had smelled all day. I can see this being used in multiple settings and throughout the spring and summer. Had to purchase a bottle finally when I realized I need another fairly regular non-offensive cologne I can use in the office. I can see this actually becoming a staple for me as there are plenty of times I simply want to get out of the house in the mornings for work without putting too much thought into coordinating my outfit and weather with the cologne I wear.

I’ve tried a lot of ‘barbershop’ fragrances including Pinaud Clubman, YSL’s Rive Gauche pour homme, Azzaro pour Homme, Replica’s At the Barber, and others. Citrus barbershop scents is another story, but as far as lavender-centric barbershop scents go, this is hands down the greatest. It smells absolutely fantastic and is far superior to all of the other barbershop scents I just listed. It’s basically lavender and geranium with clary sage and neroli as well into the drydown. Sillage and longevity are both excellent. The lavender isn’t overly sweet as in Azzaro pour Homme or Rive Gauche, and it isn’t coupled with anise (which smells odd to my nose). The geranium makes the whole thing smell and feel very cooling, almost like mint. Due to the clary sage and slight neroli in it, it retains an old-world sort of character to it, and reminds me of a lavender version of Salvatore Farragamo’s Acqua Essenziale Colonia (a citrus barbershop favourite of mine). This is the greatest barbershop scent, hands down. I want a full bottle of this some day.

I only own fragrances that I use regularly, if I don’t absolutely love it…I sell it.
I have just purchased my fourth bottle of Egoiste Platinum.
This is my “I don’t know what to wear today” frag. It never offends and is perfect for any occasion – casual or formal.
    An absolute all year winner!

  33. :

    5 out of 5

This is nice. inoffensive, sophisticated. I just don’t feel the amazement others do. Maybe there are too many similar scents these days.
Also, nothing in this is similar to the original Egoiste. I don’t think the average man or woman under 30 would like the original egoiste, but they’d like this one for sure.
Additionally, I feel that there are better scent options for the same occasions when I’d use this. YSL l’homme, allure, Burberry.. to name a few.

    @thomaspitts1 I agree with you.
I get excellent overall performance from the bottle that I bought in Boots 2 week’s ago.
Fantastic scent. The quality really shines in a league way above its closest cousins 🙂

  35. :

@thomaspitts1 I’ve also gotten excellent performance from the newest formualtion. I’m reasonably sure that PE has undergone several reformulations over the 20+ years since its original release. The current one feels very similar to the bottle I had in 1996. Still my favorite!

With respect for all reviewers,I’m not sure how this fragrance performs for you, but I get more compliments from this newer version than from the 1st!
To me, the opening is not as harsh… and is warmer. I seem to get more of the moss and the “green notes” than before.
With the 1st version, the aldehides became more unpredictable on me, and by the time the drydown arrived, the life of the fragrance was about gone.
Big improvement with the newer version (for me)!!!!!!

    2nd Review:
I bought a 100 ml genuine bottle from an airport duty free. It was the new packaging probably a 2017 batch. Unfortunately, I was shocked how severly this was watered down and dilluted.
The citrusy soapy opening is still the same but longevity is 2 hrs max then it is hardly detectable.
This masculine masterpiece was my signature scent ten years ago and I still remember how I get complements after 6 hours from spraying it in the morning. The magical sophisticated super classy drydown is very faint now and turns into lemon powder within 2 hours.
This is definitely my last buy of this legendary perfume.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

P.E. newer version – the box is the same color as the original…silver front and back, and the sides are black.
The bottle (as shown at the top of this web page) is still transparent but a little shorter than the first bottle, and more cubed looking, or more squared rather than rectangular.
    ****Update**** 3/18/2018
They no longer show the original (rectangular) bottle at the top of this page… only the newer version.
To see a picture of the original (taller, rectangular bottle), look at the EBay adds above and you “may” see the differences between the two bottles.

Masculine ,floral, woody and slightly smoky scent, better if u dress formal with this. Dry down smells great however it smells a little generic

Can anyone confirm what the newer reformulated bottles look like so I don’t purchase the older one? At Macy’s I think I saw a white box for PE rather than the original silver one that’s been used. I would ask the sales rep but they’re completely clueless.
I’m praying they fixed the longevity and projection issues, because this was close to perfection before they messed around with it.

What a magnificent, hidden scent. Took me forever to know about this one, until I heard Jeremy discuss it. I read all of this reviews prior to going and sniffing it, so I had a pretty clear expectation: a classier Fierce.
As I sprayed for the first time, said expectations were destroyed, for it opens with a much more astringent, clean and metallic scent. I immediately put it down and continued my walk through the store.
I purchased Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, and was given a sample of Egoiste, which I’m wearing right now.
I actually laughed by myself in the car when I sensed the perfume evolve into what everyone says: a classier Fierce.
All of a sudden, the wood notes emerged from my skin, making the metallic/citrusy notes become a lot more quiet, but still there. This is the most non-linear fragrance I have smelled.
It smells past any notes, and straight to the concept of class and masculinity. It does have that 90’s smell, but I do not find that to be a problem. This is going to be my next purchase, definetely, and will restock it for as long as I live. What a fantastic creation by Polge and Demachy.
Chanel scent and performance, does not disappoint in any sense, and fits perfectly within my collection.
    9/10.

Reformulated…. big issues with the performance of Egoiste Platinum, try layering this with ISO E Super or Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecule! If you want a lavender floral scent with balls that still works in the office, The Third Man by Caron would be an excellent choice.
I just hope that my bottle is the only bad performance batch.
Please Can anyone confirm what the newer reformulated bottles don’t have projection and longevity issues?

Fresh herbal – citrus – metallic
    Color impression: aluminium
Platinum Égoïste was my top gun years ago when I used to shave and I used to wear it whenever I wanted to look confident like a boss. This perfume has great effect against stress on me. I wore it for every single interview; whether for university or position. Platinum Égoïste is extension of aquatic fougères, based on fresh geranium, rosemary and lavender, all charged with metallic sheen that gives impression of platinum color. It turns harsh herbs into tuxedo scale.

This is perfection! Probably the most well balanced scent from the 90s. A truly beautiful mix of botanicals with freshness.
    Sporty, versatile, modern and masculine.
This hidden gem is also a monster compliment-magnet, girls love it!
IMO the best male fragrance from Chanel.
The new 2017 batch doesn’t last more than 6 hours on my skin, sillage is heavy within 45 min range then it’s just ok. I just wish this was a little stronger on my skin, but don’t get me wrong, this is a masterpiece from Chanel, this is the best male versatile scent I’ve ever smelled!

I’ve had many bottles of this over the years. I probably consider it my “go-to” and probably the most consistent fragrance I’ve had. There are so many fantastic qualities to this one and it definitely gets compliments. Smells fresh and clean. An EDP version of this would be amazing!

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I have to agree with edge42’s review in respect of the latest formulation – with the exception of the initial(?) formulation of this I had in the mid-late 90’s this is far and away the smoothest and most balanced. I didn’t repurchase this for about a decade on account of how harsh and metallic the formulations at the time were. Longevity was also a bit of an issue for me, and apparently many others. However, the current version dispels all those concerns – It’s still got the signature metallic freshness from the lavender/geranium/rosemary combo, but it’s perfectly balanced by moss, woods and amber in the base to prevent it feeling harsh. As a result, it gives a great rendition of a fresh modern barbershop fragrance. The performance is also great – sparing application still lasts all day with a great silage. I feel that Chanel is finding its feet again after a brief stumble.

First a side note , If anybody is or ever will be remotely interested in getting something like A&F Fierce, the smartest best choice of a fragrance to get would be this , Chanel Platinum Egoiste. Just a similar overall feel. with the subtle , a bit more than minimal, but not cluttered in the slightest. slick, also very classy _+ refined, + in another sense it has a rugged masculine edge too. This Frag adds a huge breath of life + layers atop things like Fierce, augmenting the composition in every way and refining it down as well. after 5 hours more or less, I can begin to pick up a very beautiful material, almost completely realistic cedar/sandalwood accord, but w/ just enough of a modern+synthetic palette (a good thing, don’t want to smell like a hippie health grocery store) literally perfect. Never mind the faintly cigar box~ scentedopening ~empty cigar box – from the galbanum note , that’s just it’s balls which fade and blend perfectly into soul. It may have a little bit of a cold vibe all together but that’s something I like at times, for warm fragrances you gotta go with Spanish colognes like Alma de Canarias or Loewe or quorum

    Update 30.12.2017
I would like to extend my review for the edt platinum egoiste.
After using the new batch u must say the projection is a semi beast. 10/10. Not too strong just perfect. I keep receiving compliments from women and men.
It’s an ageless edt. A bit overpriced though.
Recently I again purchased Iksir 536 eau de parfum from Turkey. Now it is darker but still a great substitute for someone on a budget.
Both the original which is deep and the Turkish replica are worth buying.

I didn’t care for this one. On me, it was a dirty, metallic, citrusy musk. That’s not to say it wouldn’t be wonderful on someone else, but it simply didn’t work for me.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

This is one of my favorites, whatever they used for that fresh cut wood note in the base is beautiful, and it’s one I don’t smell very often, I don’t know why more perfumers don’t utilize that instead they always just use cashmeran or iso e or whatever it might be. Don’t get me wrong iso e super is one of my favorite scents out there and I love how complex it is and the variation there is between different batches made by different companies. But this wood note they used in PE is really just fresh newly cut wood. I would say one of the “this perfume reminds me of” entries should be the regular Gillette aftershave that comes in the blue bottle.

Thought this fragrance was owed a couple clarifications, seeing many of the comments since the recent reformulation…
First, there are absolutely no concerns with strength of the newest formulation. Chanel takes this very seriously and it shows (smells). Still easily lasts all day with a couple sprays with moderate-to-strong sillage.
Second, what they did accomplish with this reformulation is in my opinion an improvement over the vintage. I’ve owned every iteration of this and the newest is the smoothest, slightly sweeter with less harshness/dryness than the others and easily the most balanced.
From my own experience, many other reviews and the noses of passers-by, the newest formulation of PE is also the best.
    Reformulation doesn’t always spell tragedy.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

I got this as a present from a colleague in 2013, but I only started appreciating it recently. At first I was not really impressed by the smell, but it grew on me with time. Extremely clean, fresh almost soapy scent. It is therefore odd how somehow it manages to set itself apart from any other fragrance out there. I think its distinct metallic feel is what makes it so unique, masculine and classy. As far as I know the composition has been reformulated in the past and all I can say in this regard is I have the reformulated version and it smells very contemporary. No one would define this as old or dated (unlike the original Egoiste or Antaeus for instance).
Suitable for any occasion or season, but I would avoid it in winter due to its cooling metallic vibe.
Monster projection, silage and longevity on my skin. I have received a compliment from a lady 12 hours after application. And usually scents do not last long on me. For comparison so called ‘monsters’ like Ultramale or Eros evaporate after less than 2 hours on me.
Oddly enough for me it is by far my most complimented fragrance (and I do own fragrances like Blue De Chanel, ADG Profumo, D&G The One, YSL La Nuit, etc.). I have also received crazy comments from girls like ‘I could still smell you on me the next day’. I have rarely worn this without receiving a positive comment.
Good design, high quality sprayer, the only thing that bothers me is that the cap is a fingerprint magnet and it is very irritating. If it were a magnetic metal cap it would have been perfect.

Still it is not my personal favorite scent, as far as fresh versatile scents go I prefer ADG Profumo (or Sauvage if it weren’t so popular). But in terms of compliments, uniqueness and versatility, I would choose this over any other every time. My signature scent.

I guess i’ve tested the reformulated version
Before the test I am a little bit scared, because I really hate most of the 90’s soapy levander stuffs, but this one is so amazing! Clean, fresh, safe, lovely spring in the bottle! On the other hand, I am dissapointed, because I was hoping a monster sillage and longevity, but I don’t got it. The sillage in the first our is good, but later the whole creation calm down, and become a very skin close scent. Lets see the scent: in the first few minutes you got a storng, but very very nice herbal, rosemary odor. Few minutes later the levander arrives with a hint of citrus notes. Thereafter you got a cool combination of gernaium, jasmine and clary sage, unforunately I can’t smell any galbanum note As I mentioned, 1.5 hours later the perfume calms down, and in the drydown you can sniff a solid amber, vetiver, oakmoss base, which is a little bit soapy, but still amazing. If the sillage was better, this could be a perfect scent. Even so, this stuff is in my „love it”category.
    – Spring/summer, daytime scent
    – sillage is average, longevity around 7-8 hours
    – safe blind buy
    Scent (open. top-mid): 9/10 (x2)
    Scent (drydown, base): 9/10 (x2)
    Sillage: 5/10
    Longevity: 7.5/10
    Uniqueness: 8.5/10
    Versatility 8/10
    Total: 8.125/10

Platinum plays in a league of its own. It’s herbs, flowers and metalic notes well blended. Things are in harmony here. Here you can be a man without having to force things. Platinum to me is just effortlessness.

    Greetings,
Yesterday I have bought Chanel platinum egoiste. It was a hard choise between ck eternity and pe.
Its a fresh, slightly sweet classy fragrance. Not offensive and is a perfect balance of freshness and dryness. I am a guy who usually goes for pepper cedar wood sort of notes but I must say I have fell in love with this.
It is expensive over 100 usd for 100ml but the projection and spillage is okay. It is not a beast though. This works well both in cold and hot weather. In my opinion this is one of the best fragrances I have ever smelled.

I know that there are some more potent and more complex frags out there but there is something about this fragrance that makes me to come back to it. This fragrance or Smth similar should be in every man’s drawer. It’s also good that it is not as popular these days as it used to be.
I also noticed some people complaining about longevity however it stays on me more than 8 hours.
In the past I have owned a clone of this parfume coming from a turkish frag house called Iksir. It was very well done and had similar potency. I think I will order one more to have it next to the real thing. However the real one smells heavenly don’t let the bad comments fool you. I can only speculate how good it must have been in the past.
Truly a masterpiece. Very 90s a bit old school powdery warm fresh musky type but very very refined. I am in my 30s. I feel comfortable wearing it.

Nothing quite like this is there?
Still one of my favourites after many years. It works well all year round in any situation, definitely a signature type scent imo.<br /
