Oh, how I wanted to love this. I trust Lorson – I’ve never before had a single fragrance from her I’ve not loved – and seeing how cheap this was and hearing everyone’s reviews that the peach is strong in this one I blind bought.
Regret. Deep mourning for the frag I thought this would be.
I should have been more suspicious of “herbal notes” and “woodsy notes”.
If the note can’t be pinned down to a specific source and is just chemical vagueness, I just can’t vibe with it. “Floral notes”, “citrus notes”, anything vague like that, I really have to write it off in future.
There’s something about those vague chemical sources that responds so horribly with my skin chemistry and comes up aquatic and makes me sneeze.
First spray is pretty, all redcurrant and pretty peach, but the drydown never delivers the musky sweetness promised.
So sad.

A new bottle which is not better than the original. Good longevity and sillage. Fresh, floral,…. and smells like the original. They just change the bottle.
