Absolutely clean scent. Reminded me soap but in a good way, like you just came out of bathroom after a shower. When I read “50 shades of Grey” and main hero described His scent like clean and fresh, I always thought that it could be Eau Monumentale 🙂

This is a fragrance that makes you appreciate niche parfumiers..
I doubt this fragrance will find a mass market appeal because it’s not a sweet-fruity or a simple fragrance. Eau Monumentale has a citrus start and then an expectedly beautiful woody pine scent. It’s beautifully and perfectly composed.
In less competent hands citrus and pine would smell like floor cleaner. Instead, Eau Monumentale is a perfectly balanced little gem.

I know this says unisex, but I recommend that this is for woman mostly. I put it on my skin and at first the citrus hits you. Then is mellows out into a woodsy oasis. I love how that more I take it in, the more I love it. It’s sweet enough for a woman, but I don’t think I would enjoy having my husband wear it.

Love at first whiff. Transporting citrus and woods.

This is AMAZING! How is this not the most talked about frag right now? The price, the quality and it’s spring time!
Now, this is one of them frags where you spray on your hand and the first 5 seconds I didn’t care for much, but then transforms into a magnificent smell. So addicting!
It’s also one where you take your hand , bring it to your nose and don’t smell anything a hour later, but when your moving around you keep smelling it! Its aromatic!
I have never smelled anything like this. A true complement getter and a great example of there should be no genders placed on a frag. Perfect unisex frag all day long. I’m going to buy a bottle right now!

Its a really nice citrusy floral. Almost perfect at first spray but, its too velvety. Like they took orange blossoms and soaked them in lab chemicals. Theres such a thing as too clean. Others might like that aspect though.

I am absolutely obsessed with the scent — it is not complex or esoteric, but, the combination of sweet citrus and warm woodsy notes works especially well with my body chemistry.
This is one scent that I adore catching on myself through the day, but, it does tend to drop off a lot after a few hours. You can still pick it up at the end of the day very close to your skin, and I always want to smell more.

A harsh citrus-floral eau de toilet with a sweetness brought about by the inclusion of neroli flower and the yellow floral mimosa. Unfortunately, this is too cloyingly sweet for my taste. Nothing monumental here. (49)

This little number surprised the heck out of me. I was prepared for yet another boring citrussy eau…but NO!! This has a wonderfully dry woody base that emerges right from the start and makes this something special indeed. The dry wood is a beautiful contrast for the juicy citrus and luscious neroli that swirls up from the juice. There is a very nice balance here that few have. The balance reminds me of Rose 31 and LDDM with that wonderful dryness that anchors down all the other fantastic aromas. Def worth checking out if you like Neroli and woody citrus frags. Love at first sniff! Unfortunately, that usually means boredom after a short while, but not always, and I def need to give this much more time on my skin this spring. Gorgeous!
