This starts out all bergamot and lime, a fresh, slightly bitter citrus burst, more green leaves and rind than juice. It quickly quiets and the iris emerges, soft, gentle, trailing the wood notes, calming everything down. I never really get my expectaction of neroli and that’s not necessarily a bad thing, not being a huge neroli fan.
I thought I’d dislike this, iris and neroli not favorites, instead, I’m suprisingly unmoved. This fragrance is good, eminently wearable and inoffensive but it is also not memorable or inspirational. It’s not too sweet, not too tart, not too woody, not too dry. I’m left wondering why I’m not in love. This is your classic good girl/guy, perfect for you in every way and yet you just can’t bring yourself to feel more than a mild attraction.
Ultimately, I’d enjoy standing next to someone wearing this, thinking how clean and fresh they smelled, I wouldn’t trail after them, wondering what scent they were wearing and where I could get some of that.

Fresh, fruity, floral, and then woody iris…a snooze. Not everybody wants complexity, but when it’s as expensive as Thirdman perfumes, you expect more than this. Thirdman prices its perfumes at the lower end of niche, but this pale, simpering stuff is drugstore juice. I was glad it was short-lived on my skin. Its timidity may be an attempt at minimalism, but it just feels pretentious. This just proves that doing minimalism well is difficult. It’s very polite and safe. If you wear perfume to get compliments, you’ll probably get them with this, but if you wear perfume for yourself because you like the way complex odors can change the way you see the world and how you carry yourself, this probably won’t appeal to you. In that regard, it’s inert. 4/10

I gave this an all day try. It got more compliments then ANYTHING I have in my arsenal of fragrances. I smell lots of citrus. In the opening, and dry down. I also smell something familiar in it. But I cant place it. Its like the song you know and cant think of who sings it. Drives you crazy all day. I will be buying this full bottle.

A very clean and straightforward fragrance which seems best for warmer weather. Lime and bergamot opening, with floral neroli heart. Powdery orris root gives a slight lipstick quality in the dry down. Overall a fairly banal fragrance. (48)
