This one is bold version from Salvador Dali Dalilight.
Unfortunately Eau de rubylips same with dalilight which have weak longevity in my skin

Paper bag with lemons and pineapple inside left for one day on a table. Then you open it take a whiff and that is Eau de Rubylips. It reminds sweeter, more “naive” Light Blue without “wet leather strap note”.

    Light citrusy fresh fragrance.
It really smells more citrusy than floral. I can’t say that I feel grapefruit a lot. Actually, it reminds me soviet lemon women’s colonge or much more later done very alike Girl by GianMarco Venturi. Light Blue by Dolce&Gabbana it reminds much less, because there is no too much cedar. White florals notes are noticeable, only on the musky base. And not like Eclat d’Arpège by Lanvin for sure, only if just a very little bit the same nice and much lighter and here there are white florals smell.
Actually, I wanted to get fresh pineapple fragrance, but I don’t feel pineapple, maybe a little, little bit. So, I’m upset.
The fragrance is light enough. The sillage is not powerful.
Of course, it’s very good for the hot weather.
It’s nice, but there is nothing new for me.

Clean and safe. Smells like Pantene shampoo, the classic one. Good value for money. Safe to be bought as a gift for a woman of any age.

Reminds me of Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba.

Simple and feminine fragrance, mostly for use during the day. No ambitions for something very special or remarkable, just pleasant to wear. And I suppose it somehow works really well with my skin, always getting compliments for smelling very nice when wearing this.
I just bought my second bottle, and for now I definitely assume I will buy some more when this one comes to an end.

The first sniff is clean laundry – it smells like line-dried cotton sheets. The cotton and lily-of-the-valley are quite prominent and fresh. The middle is sweet pineapple and a small tint of lemony magnolia. Final dry down is a run of the mill amber/musk skin scent.
This is very light and clean. In fact, it never loses that “clean laundry” note. It reminds me of Jeanne Lanvin – not in its notes – but in it’s clean, light, morning vibe.
I’d love this as a fabric softener.

I have had mini perfume spray of this. Eau de Rubylips is really alike to Light Blue. But it’s more soft, powdery, feminine and floral. Starts with grapefruit and later I can feel magnolia and cotton flower with little hint of musk and cedar. I could see this very appropriate for people working in hospital.

We are in the midst of a heat wave here and the only fragrances I feel like wearing are EA’s Green Tea Cucumber and this.
I ignored Eau de Ruby Lips all winter, knowing that its time would come again soon enough.
Yes, it’s a thin fragrance, and one that I would also characterize as ‘dry’, thanks to the cedar base.
I find it extremely fresh and the opposite of cloying.
I use three spritzes of this juice instead of my customary two since it’s so light and weightless.
Eau de Ruby Lips is reminiscent of Light Blue but is a dead ringer for Eclat d’Arpege, just less floral and more refreshing.

Great for hot summer days and nights! Of course it is light and shy but it’s fresh like water with a hint of sweetnes and citrus that makes it enjoyable instead of harsh. It’s that aromatic smell of lemon that remains and becomes addictive. You need to spray this often due to the longevity not being so great.

Delicious! Love at first spritz! It’s like wearing a happy summer day on a tropical vacation in scent form. I adore the pineapple with citrus; it’s fun and different, but very friendly and likable from the get-go. My husband couldn’t stop smelling me and telling me how much he liked it, and he’s very picky about scents he likes. It’s just a happy, fun, sunny, and pretty scent. Great for day wear.
Sillage is noticeable but not obnoxious, and the lasting power pleased me. I put it on in the morning. got little wafts of it in the afternoon, and was still getting compliments after 5pm (although, I was being nuzzled at the time). I’ll definitely be purchasing another bottle.

Pleasant enough but it’s not really for me.
On the whole, it’s a generic fresh, perfume-y scent but there’s also a strong fruity sweetness which I don’t personally like.
At first it’s a fresh laundry kind of smell mixed with pineapple. On my skin this soon improves as amber and honeysuckle and a bit of muskiness emerge. But the pineapple is still hanging around to ruin things.
Maybe I’m missing the subtlety but I can’t see there’s anything here to make this perfume stand out or stick in the memory. It smells a bit like the ambient melange of smells in every perfume shop.
(I tried to cover it up with Dali’s Le Roy Soleil – big mistake! I smelled like a cheap airfreshner.)

I dont really see the similarities beetwen this one and Light blue for women, this one is powder and creamy,no citric at all, much more suitable for autumn and winter than LB,

I can sense it as fresh and clean. It’s so familiar smelling for some reason. Probably because of the honeysuckle note.
I also sense some cedar and grapefruit quite intensively. And pineapple is not annoying in this perfume.
I’d say it’s a good one, hopefully the sillage is good too.

in some way i can smell the peach in it:) nevermind..
what i dont like about this fragrance is the alcohol odor while applying. perfume itself is nice, fresh, juicy, but in the beginning you can smell the alcohol and in 30 minutes it is all gone, i cant smell anything. sooo.. for me it is waste of money, i would appreciate more concentrated version.. 🙁

WOW, it is so fresh with pineapple and lemon. and then i feel the scent of a little sweet and warm peach. i love it!

Pineapple and citrus on top of soft cotton blossom, florals, and musk. Very clean scent. Sweet from the pineapple but not too cloying — very fresh tropical citrus notes. The musk is a very clean white musk as well. Good for work or day time casual wear, especially in the summer.

I really like the original Rubylips and the notes of Eau de Rubylips seemed pretty intriguing so I snatched this one up when I found a 50 ml for under $20.
The opening is a bit hard to love. It smells a bit like still damp laundry. This is something I’ve noticed before with white musks, especially in the Clean line. However, this fades in about 5 minutes.
The drydown shares a similar tart but sweet character with the original Rubylips. There’s a strong presence of pineapple and magnolia. I personally do not pick up a very noticeable amount of cedar.
Traces of lily of the valley and honeysuckle give this a bit of a fresher, younger, more spring vibe than the original. I’ve seen some people say they found Rubylips to be too “mature” because of the rose note. So maybe this flanker was aimed more at the teen/early 20’s audience.
I like this, and it’s very wearable, but being such a “true” flanker it is basically a lighter version of Rubylips and I prefer the first incarnation.
I personally don’t think this smells like Light Blue, but if you like that scent, you will probably like this as well. I find it has more in common with the Moschino Cheap & Chic line, but not as quirky.

It’s very similar to Dalilight – I would say too similar to be honest. I love the scent, I love the bottle, but I have a problem. I have Dalilight, and it lasts less than an hour on my skin.
When there are too fragrances so similar to each other, it gives the impression the perfumes are made without true passion. Dali’s name deserves more passion. And why is this called Eau de Ruby Lips? This is a fresh sea breeze, very blue, nothing to do with rubies.
I could buy this, use this and love this, if I was sure it lasts longer on my skin than Dalilight. I would save the bottle!

Well its nothing from Light Blue at all!Its realy strong and base notes smells realy cheap, remindes me a air freshener! Not hapy, becouse hoped it will be realy like Light blue, like louds of peoples say on here…..

Similar to Light Blue, but not quite. Scent of Peace from Bond 9 reminded me more of this actually, but of course, the quality just might be different.
I pick up (in order) a very fresh cedar, lemon, honeysuckle, grapefruit, and a tad bit of amber which I always love. To me, a very appealing and gorgeous combination of notes. Seems like some type of “aquatic” I’ve always searched for….however, I’ve noticed this does not fall under aquatic at all.
Luckily it doesn’t completely smell like pineapple at all, but the pineapple note gives it the sweetness. It lasts not more than 3 hours and I layer it with Avon green apple lotion which compliments the crispness …. and to give it longer life on the skin.
Give it a shot… inexpensive, but a promising and beautiful cedar/citrus” …… very good quality for the price tag.
    Great for tropical weather

Kinda Light Blue D&G and so on, but with some pineapple instead of citrus and sea notes instead of creamy ones. Doesn’t last long, 2-3 hrs, perfect for sunny days.

If you’re looking for a less expensive version of D&G Light Blue, this is it!

Soooo fresh, love it! I let my boyfriend pick the perfume I would wear to meet his parents and he picked this one 🙂 Smells nice&fresh, it’s something most people would like, even if you put too much of it. I would say it’s safe, but in a good way. Definitely a fragrance most would enjoy.
If you like Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue, Chevignon Forever Mine Into the Legend and Cafe Cafe Puro, Eau de RubyLips is def for you.

It’s not powerful, not sharp, but smells really good, fresh and young. The thing is, it’s so poor in longevity and sillage that it seems to have been made for dogs since you gotta have an awesome sense of smell to notice it after 10min (ppl saying half an hour are either too kind or too lucky). I had two 30ml bottles that I bought together with a Paris YSL, 50ml. I wear Paris way more often than I wear Rubylips, but I have to spray so much of this thing that my two bottles were gone before Paris was even half empty.

huuuge disappointment..I love this smell, on the paper it´s so fine..but it doesn´t last long at all. i sprayed this on my wrist, enjoyed it, but after like 30 min., it changed to some cheap smell…reminds me of moschus, I think it´s the musk note I dislike here..yuck!
body chemistry and longevity are sometimes evil!..

Very nice, fresh, citrusy fragrance. Perfect for summertime. It reminds me a lot of D&G Light Blue.

  29. :

I don’t think I ever tried a lighter or a fresher fragrance. Not only fresh and airy on the paper strip, but also the same exact scent on the skin. Definitely a daytime perfume, imo. I must be one of the luckiest ones with this, as it lasts on me up to 8-9 hours, a bit stronger in the first 2 hours, and then a subdued aroma, just to keep my spirits up.

  30. :

Eau de RubyLips is very juicy and fruity fragrance perfect for the summertime. Top note grapefruit is dominant and gives most of the juicy feeling while the pineapple adds a bit sweetness to it. It’s light and easy to wear. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long. But now, if you want something similar with a better lasting power, Salvador Dali Fragrances has launced a new perfume called Dalilight. It is pretty similar to Eau de RubyLips being even more juicyer and a bit more complex but it lasts longer and seems more powerful.

I love, it has a smell of clean wear.
    It seems a Bvlgari ametist.
    Delicious!

I didn’t like it at first- it reminded me Bright Crystal and Envy Me- it’s so citrusy and bitter at first and I don’t like BC and Envy Me.
Later citrus bitterness disappeared and it revealed aquatic + woody smell that was exactly like Green Jade – I didn’t like it either.
And there is pineapple with magnolia? I caught a whiff of pineapple and magnolia for a very short moment- like polar day in december- it was good, but didn’t last long and was my favorite part of all this composition.
Now it smells almost like Light Blue- the cedar shavings.
The bottle is very nice and beautiful- I like the sky blue color, I think it someway matches the juice.

I was suggested this fragrance by a sales assistant as being similar to Noa Perle by Cacharel which I was also trying at the time.
The two fragrances are indeed similar with their opening top notes, however I much prefer Noa Perle in the drydown.
Eau De Rubylips is a very Summery fragrance with a citrusy and sour opening of grapefruit and a heart of pineapple and magnolia. I don’t like grapefruit at the best of times, neither the smell or taste, however it wasn’t too badly presented in this fragrance. Pineapple is another note that I usually detest in fragrances, yet the magnolia made the pineapple note softer and more balanced.
I’ll be honest and say that this fragrance will never appeal to me, however for lovers of fruity florals and fragrances like Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana and Baby Doll by YSL, this fragrance could be the one for you.
The lasting power is pretty average, I never got to the base notes because the fragrance had disappeared before then.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

At first, one can smell clearly two notes: something like blackcurrant(maybe grapefruit+pineapple combination), which provides its claimed “redness”, and something really fresh(the grapefruit again, I suppose…). This summer show ends after about an hour, then you have nothing, and THEN, after about 3-4 hours, its base notes can be felt:something warm and musky. Its evolution is quite interesting, but the fragrance should be a bit more powerful.

  36. :

Just disappeared after about half an hour – inoffensive but pointless – OK for people who don’t really want anyone to notice their perfume, or who are afraid of anything too powerful
