I am very sad when they decided to discontinue this Lavender perfume!
This is my very first fragrance when i moved into the state!
The aromatic smell from the lavender flower is very therapeutic and relaxing.
I smell a tad woodsy smell, a little sweet from the ripe peach, a little green.
Have you ever been to lavender garden?! Spray this, and you will know!
I bought the last bottle before it went “missing” forever.
Hopefully they will bring back this collection! People will be pleased!

Like a field of lavender mixed with wildflowers. Soft, fresh, calming and very gentle. The lavender is very dominant in the opening, but soon enough it fades some to give space to freesia, peach, the rest of the green notes and refrained musk.
Recolte Bleue is very special in my collection. I used to literally despise lavender – until one day I smelled this perfume on a very good friend of mine and fell in love at first sniff. It was later when she showed me the bottle did I realise that the main note that gave the charm to this fragrance was indeed lavender. I’m sad and disappointed that this fume is discontinued. The latest lavender scent of L’Occitane is far less charming and I still didn’t find the one bottle that could replace Recolte Bleue.

I just learned that this has been discontinued! Sooo sad…
Wonderful summertime refreshing scent. I used it more as a body spray because the longevity is very weak. Nonetheless the fresh bright lavender combined with the spiciness of the musk and sweetness of the peach made this a top choice for for feeling clean and refreshed whilst still chic on hot summer days. I will have to go and try the new replacement (Eau de L’Occitane) with fingers crossed.

Is this one and Butterfly Lavender Joyful Mood Touch identical fragrances? I have the JMT and absolutely enjoy it. There is a little brush in it, it’s just like a nail polish. The fragrance is a bit sharp at first, then it becomes softer. I feel marygold in it, too. Sillage is close to the skin. Lasting power isn’t very good, but when it goes away, you’re sleeping, too:)). Definitely a good-night scent.

I use it as a good night fragrance, lovely scent,on the top a bit strange and a bit harsh, but after a while becomes quite gentle fragrance that has a soft touch to the skin. Lavender really works comforting. Each year L’occitane has a new scent with lavender, for me are all equally good – natural fragrance, which sometimes come as a good break after the heavy perfume.
I love how it smells on my skin in the morning when I wake up in lavender dreams.

I would like to add that part of what makes this fragrance so amazing to me is that it is actually a lot more complex and interesting than the notes indicated here. I find that the various notes, though they mingle harmoniously, really comes at me at different times (and different directions!) so that one moment I detect more of the juicy peach but another moment I am soothed more by the lavender, and another moment I’m trying to pinpoint that intriguing something else that I can’t quite identify. And to a friend I I’ve just walked by I’ve left a trail of bergamot freshness that somehow manages to resemble clean, cool, flower-scented sea breeze.
I’ve even had friends point out the multifaceted nature of this fragrance to me. It’s like this fragrance has many sides to its personality, but in the end it still has one unified quality that makes it identifiable and unique.

I think to say that this is purely a lavendar scent doesn’t quite do justice to it. I smell a lot of crisp, clean bergamot, which is not mentioned in the description here (but which is mentioned on the L’Occitane homepage) and a lush, juicy — but not too sweet — peach note. There is something about this fragrance that is just so fresh and sparkling and enticing and yet also gentle & soothing at the same time! I keep smelling my own wrists when I have this on and I often put it on myself before I go to bed because it is just so comforting.
The first time I smelled this was on a lady who worked in the same building as my office and every time she walked by me I would smell this most heavenly and delicious scent. Finally I had to ask her what she was wearing so I can go and get a bottle of the stuff for myself. Now recently, a friend of mine who wasn’t really into perfumes smelled this fragrance on me and it led her to go check it out at L’Occitane. And now she’s addicted to perfume — and it all started with this scent!
The one down side to this fragrance is the weak staying power. I have to reapply at least a couple of times or more throughout the day as well as apply liberally (and still it never overpowers). But for me it’s worth the trouble of carrying the long & clunky bottle around in my purse because I’m just so in love with this scent. It’s still one of my top two most favourites even though I’ve gone on to discover over 10 other new perfumes since this one.

Very fresh, sharp and bright lavander scent. Very modern perfume, proving that lavander can be versatile. Perfect for summer time or for spraying on your pillow for a good nights sleep. very relaxing, bring a soothing effect to the wearer. On my skin the lavander and green notes take center stage. Lovely drydown.
