Description

Iceberg presents a new fragrant duo EAU DE ICEBERG which can be expected on the market in November 2010. The fragrance is characterized by innovative design and by number 74 stretching over the glass flacon and suggests the year when the brand was founded (1974).

Iceberg Eau de Iceberg Pour Femme and Eau de Iceberg Pour Homme offer new fragrant experience touched with Italian sense of style and sporty-elegant concept. The pair is urban, modern, elegant, with lush notes and refreshing trail.

Eau de Iceberg Pour Femme incorporates rich and juicy floral and fruit nuances, which remind of warm wind of the Mediterranean in the last days of golden July. Dreaming with half-closed eyes with a full sense of enjoyment expects the woman who puts a few drops of this fragrance on her wrists.

Aromas of red orange, pineapple and pear tingle all our senses, with floral and feminine influence of jasmine and freesia. A heart of the fragrance features intoxicating fruit – juicy fig that unites its sweetness with elegant white flowers. Sensuality dominates until the end, with notes of white wood and soft vanilla. The fragrance is available in bottles of 100 ml EDT.

Hypnotic fragrance. It´s not too strong even it lasts very long time. I really like this perfume. Open notes should just last a little longer. Otherwise it´s really good, grown up womans perfume.

One of these which I liked, now I don’t… Somehow it’s just not for me anymore.

What a pleasant surprise! I saw this at the local store for about $18 for 100ml and just couldn’t resist blind buying it. There wasn’t any tester so I quickly checked the notes on fragrnatica and given that I loved or liked pretty much any fragrance by Iceberg I’ve ever tried or had, I bought it in a heartbeat.
Initially there is a blast of orange and pear, fresh, citrucy but sweet at the same time. As it develops, the freshness goes away a little and you can now feel the jasmine, the freesia (which I looove!) and the pineapple. Somewhere at the very bottom are the woodsy and vanilla notes. Fig? Can’t smell it. Sweet and floral but with the bitter and tart, zesty notes this is nicely balanced. It’s sweet and fruity but not in a ”cute” or immature way. Very feminine and grounded. Overall very happy!!

Has this been discontinued ? ? I haven’t seen it on any of the UK perfume websites (that I use too much!) recently, yet the men’s Eau de Iceberg 74 seems to be readily available.
REALLY strange ! ! If anyone knows please let me know!

Not a typical floral Fruity-scent to me. Not sugar/syrupsweet. Very nice, a bit dark with deep, mature notes all thru the pyramid. Maybe not for a teenager but sure for a woman 30+something. Very longlasting on my skin – and I sneeze when I spray it on my skin.

It is not my cup of tea as I find it just another one among the too numerous and forgettable modern fruity florals . The opening is not that bad for this family of scents though , but 15 minutes after the first spritz it reminded Justin Biebers’ XXL ripe pear in Someday , which I would wear with pleasure only if I were a greengrocer’s shelf .
Well , Someday is worse than this .
I guess that Eau de Iceberg lovers would think that I smell old lady when I wear my favourite fragrances 🙂

I just got my bottle of Eau de Iceberg this afternoon after ordering it online a few days ago based on the good reviews and the great price for it on one of the Brit perfume websites. So, I’ve been waiting expectantly, and excitedly, for it to come and was so happy to get it today!
Blind buys are always a hit or miss affair and this buy is, happily, a hit. It’s a light, fresh, clean, uplifting everyday kind of scent which could easily be worn year round and I doubt it would offend anyone so it’d be ideal to wear for the office, etc. It immediately brought to mind another scent but I can’t remember which one so will have to report back on that later if I can remember it! What I can say though is that it doesn’t smell at all (to me anyway) like either Nina or Heat Rush, which some reviewers have likened it to. Nina is much more sweet fruity, and toffee apple’ish (and I love it) and Heat Rush is also sweeter but deeper and a bit sexier.
The main notes I detect in Eau de Iceberg are the pear, fig, jasmine and vanilla and luckily I don’t smell the orange too much (it’s not a favorite perfume note for me). The perfume is well blended and smells more expensive than it’s price tag, which is nice, and the bottle is simple and classy.
    UPDATE:
Hmm, I do like this perfume but on the second wearing I discovered it fades quite quickly so I’m not as happy with it as I initially was!

فقط یاد آوری میکنم که بدانید از یک سبد میوه های آبدار تازه در دستان یک خانم زیبا دلفریب نمشود گذشت وبفرمای ایشان را دست رد بسنه اش زد.

I am an oriental lover I love sexy spice in perfumes, so with fruity’s it is hard to find. This perfume is so good, yummy! I love that is is a sweet, fresh, and fruity perfume but I definitely smell the spice-woodiness in this. I recommend to give this a try oriental lovers who need something fresh to add to their collection! It has the ability to wear alone & I think would do so good with some mixing as well. Love this scent, you can dress it up or down but I love this for nice night out! Oh & good price too thanks to Ebay less than 20 for a 3.3 oz 🙂

A very feminine frag which is fruity – floral and alluring, yet has very low longevity…
    I applied 6 heavy sprays
0 – 30 mins – 10 inch projection. Instantly get the blood orange with white floral- this is virile sexy, very feminine but common place. It is a sticky and intoxicating fruity- floral which does allow individual notes to stand out. Ages 32-39, not IMHO for teens
30 mins – 2 hours – 2 inch projection. The projection dies very quickly and the scent smooths out a little to give a more relaxed and a generic fruity-floral
2 hours -3 hours. 1 inch projection and the drydown is smokey and not overly strong and my least favourite bit. There is a very faint smell thereafter but this frag has very low longevity…
I liked the 1st 30 mins and this is very affordable, so one could afford to re-spray, however the bottle comes in 100 ML and so could not be easily carried around. I think this one is good by the bed side…

Smells just like Beyonce’s heat rush. Lovely and perfect for hot summer days.

Really is nice and fresh, with dominant note of artificial pear and pineapple on me.
I don’t like pear scent but here is well blended with white flowers and sweet wood.
Not only for a floral fruity lovers, maybe for orientals too- at least worth to try. Longivity and sillage suprisingly good. I have to try some other Icebergs, at most The Iceberg Fragrance 😉
    Thanks to Nat.

I love this great summer scent. I bought it due to the reviews and descriptions, scent unsniffed online. Only problem is that it has a short scent life. Maybe a couple of hours and I really load up on it, but it drifts off. I cannot seem to overdo it, the potency factor is lacking.

I simply love this parfume. It is for day use and it smells great and it lasts long.

I really like this scent for warmer weather. It is semi sweet, tropical, whimsical. The problem is that it does not stay long. I realize that the big bottle is because you need to take it with you as it vanishes quickly. I overspray myself each day and by noon, it is like a bare hint of scent. That is the only drawback, no staying power

To me, this is three degrees of sweetness: sweet fruits, sweet florals, sweet woods.
The pear and orange opening is fruity and a little candied. I can see the similarity to Brit here too. After 30 minutes or so it becomes floral and sweet. I get mostly a high freesia note here. It’s clean but not refreshing. It is fairly linear from this point where the base notes of wood and vanilla keep the scent moving.
I don’t believe this to be unisex, on a man it seems too sweet without the right amount of wood or green notes to balance this out. As far as fruity floral scents go I think it is reasonably sophisticated as it’s not young and girly (I would agree sporty is a good term for it).
It reminds a tad of Costume National Pop. The notes are different but is has the same attitude and warming quality.

Nice, fresh fruity, quite linear every day scent. To my nose it’s almost all about sweet red orange, jasmin and a bit of woodsy notes. I like it because it’s not too sweet, there is some orange-peel-like bitterness and that’s what I like a lot.
Eau de Iceberg is sporty-like fragrance and can be easily unisex. It’s not a complex perfume, however I found it easy to wear. It has quite good staying power, and the price is friendly.

It´s so lovely scent!I definetly must get it!! SO AMAZING! The most I smell orange.
EDIT: I bought 100ml and I don´t change my opinion about it. It´s perfect for me. Fresh, fruity, good for warm days. I think tester in local store was much stronger but maybe I´m wrong. I recommend you if you like fresh, nice scents.

The pear blast is really something in this fragrance – it kind of reminds me of Burberry Brit EDP but unfortunately it is much more artificial. Then the sweet fig joins and ruins the effect, making the fragrance just an overly sweet fruity bubble gum. This is not unisex in my understanding – too cloying and adolescent – I do not get the woodsy notes which some of the reviewers indicate, therefore, to me it is just a gourmand floral fruity – girly or childlike even.
If you’re really into sweet and juicy, foodlike fragrances then the chances are it will meet your expectations.
The fragrance sits firmly on skin for about 5 hrs, but does not project immensely. I do not know why, but I have an impression of deja vu with this one – it is so alike other modern and popular fruity scents, maybe a bit better, but still so predictable.
I guess I have outgrown this category already, so I might be biased, but I couldn’t refrain from commenting 🙂

first i spray it. it is very juicy, i can smell the pineapple and pear.. but i agree with the people. it is very masculine. for tomboy girl.
i like the dry down. it is 6 hours in my skin.

I bumped into it yesterday in a a chemist sale department- first spray on my wrists strongly reminded me of a once beloved but long gone perfume- Birmane of van Cleef and Arpels. I relised upon checking on Fragrantica that it must be the pear- pineapple combo in the opening. Very yummy, although very potent sweetness. Only because of the base notes being completely different to Birmane, I am still wondering whether to get it as an “ersatz” for the vanished beauty of Birmane.

A fruity floral for tomboys! This fragrance is fresh and sweet but never girly. The soft woods and fig gives it a warmth and masculinity which is appropriately referred to as sporty elegance.

I got this one today and first of all i really love the bottle very nice…and the scent is on the masculine side when you first spray this on and the dry down is ok, i thought by the reviews and description it would be so fruity fresh but i didnt think so and i asked my 12 year old son to see what he thought it smelled like and he said if you break open an orange thats what it smells like totally orange and lemons, mainly oranges….and my 9 year old just said lime so it must smell very citrus not to my nose i got no fruit so to each his own…i personally think its to much of an after shave smell for me sorry !!!!

Yes, sporty indeed and unisex. Fresh and fruity, to my nose it smells a lot like apple also. A good purchase for pleasant summer fruity fragrances lovers.

Sporty-elegant, that’s what I said after sniffing. Then at one moment it smelled almost unisex. Nice frag, anyway.

YAY! Acquiring this one was a great beginning for my beauty diet! ;’) Eau de Iceberg is perfectly fresh, wonderfully juicy and utterly delicious. This is a very well constructed Fruity Floral. As previosuly mentioned, it isn’t too sweet, sour or fruity but has a well rounded blend of all notes. Plus, that bloody orange opening with a dash of pineapple is mouthwatering. I could see this being worn all year round but can hardly wait to wear it this summer! This is my first Iceberg fragrance and I really like it! For an Edt it lasts well and has a noticeable presence. ;’D

Eau de Iceberg is a spring and summer fragrance for pear and pineapple lovers.
I can smell these two fruits in all stages.
Also some light flowers which don’t overshadow the fruits, and light woods. Yum.
It’s not too sweet, it’s juicy, radiant, sparkling with joy.
Just as a modern, skillfully crafted floral-fruity should be.
    Great job ICEBERG!
A must-have for the coming season if you don’t have your favaourite floral-fruity yet 🙂

It is not in line with the other Icebergs,
Less base, a bit like quick fix there,
but the top notes lasts and lasts
    so no harm done.
    must try for oriental preferers.
I usually use it with a white floral perfume (like old school Miss Worth) the two are complementing each other since Miss Worth lucks woods and fruits, and this Iceberg lucks flowers.
btw I was born in 74 and it is so nice to se that year on the bottle every now on again!

Somehow it smells like Love by Nina Ricci to me. The starting is Nina-style and I was curiously expecting something special later on…unfortunately, it just faded away. A cheap Love’s copy…(which may be good for those who can’t buy it anymore).
