This fragrance is far more complex and rich than the 3 simple notes in this page may make estimate.
There is a strong presence of Amber Gris (not listed); I even consider this to be the main note, already present in the opening and dominating the dry down. I also detect a boozy note like rum or sweet brandy, and cinnamon giving a very pleasant sweetness to this EDT.
It’s quite a good fragrance and an astonishing selection for the price (13.5 euros in ShowroomPrivé). I want to try it a bit longer before having a more definite opinion on it.

Not surprisingly, the aphrodisiacal properties of Gray Amber – a natural Sperm Whale secretion – have made it a precious ingredient in perfumes ever since ancient times, equally popular among Greeks, Romans and Egyptians. The contrast between fresh marine scent and warm sensuality is the secret behind this rare substance becoming a strong symbol of virility. Spicy top notes, Thyme and Cinnamon, merge in an intensely masculine heart of Incense, Black Ebony and Clary Sage. In the dry down, Gray Amber takes on a quasi-mythical quality, blending richly with Opoponax and Benzoin.

A good fragrance all around. 100% Amber, but not a strong or heavy scent. What I really like what Iceberg did with this (and with their Eau de Iceberg Sandalwood) is that they took a heavier, warmer ingredient and lightened it up. I can see myself wearing this year round including cooler nights in the summer. Only issue I have is that longevity is only a couple of hours for me, but, at this price, it’s really no problem to spray some more on.

Don’t be fooled by all those positive reviews. It’s not sophisticated and don’t smell expensive at all. This one is very synthetic and usual. There are many scents like this (adidas, oldspice etc). I am glad I finished one bottle for gym and I am not gonna buy this again.

Masculine, seductive, I feel like this is a mix between givenchy pi and armani code profumo, I might be totally wrong but this is a really nice scent, I only paid 10euros for this at the time of purchase, now it is around 20 euros

I bought this blind because it was cheap and I wanted a pure amber scent that wasn’t overly feminine. With that being said, I wasn’t disappointed. Now, I paid like less than $20 so keep that in mind. It indeed does smell synthetic but overall pretty pleasant. You wouldn’t think it was as cheap as it is upon smelling, but don’t expect anything of unbelievable quality.
When I smell it, I get a powdery sweet amber with an underlying essence of wood. Kind of like an inexpensive nod to YSL’s l’homme intense… not to remotely imply the fragrances are identical though. I’d say they’re in the same family.
It’s of moderate siillage – when I put it on, my partner would get whiffs of it as I’d move around the room. It’s longevity for me is around 5 hours, and fragrances don’t tend to stay on my skin very well.
I’d give it a solid 8 out of cheapie a, but overall more of a 6. I’d still say a 6/10 is pretty great considering it’s price. If you like sweet ambers and want something casual for the office perhaps, I’d definitely add this to your collection to try out especially since it’s so inexpensive.

I purchase this as blind buy, the first spray on my hand was pleasant, the very next day I decided to wear it. What a disaster, it smelled awful on me, I was so happy when I could no longer smell that stinky scent. In to the trash it went when I got home.

At Parfumo these notes are listed:
Thyme, Rum, Cinnamon.
Frankincense, Ebony, Clary sage.
Ambergris, Opoponax, Benzoin.
I blind bought a bottle because I was impressed by the sandalwood one, so I’ll update when I receive it.
UPDATE: Wore two sprays to the chest. This is light, but quite pleasant. It has no “monster” notes, such as the boozy quality in Bentley Intense, and in fact it quickly settles down, with moderate projection. The blend, however, is excellent, and reminiscent of a very light version of Ambre Sultan by Lutens. In this one, though, you don’t get anything syrupy, vanillic, blob-like, or similar to Play-Doh. It is the “office-friendly” version of an amber niche scent, only the rum makes it a bit more interesting. The quality seems well beyond what you would expect at this price point (less than $10 for 100 ml) – this “blind buy’ was one of my best so far! Note that I get little if any wood note, and though a couple of people think it’s similar to Ambre Gris, I would disagree, other than they both present a version of amber (AG had obvious tuberose, whereas Amber isn’t floral).
UPDATE #2: Wore it again and now I’m also thinking that it smells like a more natural and smoother version of Spark for Men.

Woody and amber..and its likeable. I like the bottle’s simplicity design but I dont understand why they put 74 on it..

Lovely opening and mid notes, reminds niche orientals. Base a bit too sweet, but still very nice for price. It’s sweet in solid way, not screaming at all. Oriental, spicy, woody, boozy.
A real surprise, and of course underrated.
Longevity – 8
Sillage – 7
Scent – 8

I got this for free through the use of gift cards. (retailed at £15).
I would say this is a very common smell, nothing outside of the status quo here at all. It’s simple and very casual. I could almost say it smells like a lot of synthetic flagship store scents. However, you only get a burst of this right at the beginning. So perhaps saying that does it a disservice.
Opening: Synthetic burst of Amber.
Top: a much gentler amber with a woody/citrus smell.
I would actually recommend this for day to day corporate wear. There is no wow factor here, but I could see myself wearing this at the office. Would I buy this? Yes, because I wouldn’t want to exhaust my favorites and it’s good to have something like this in my daily repertoire.
popovich1981 – :
Pretty good scent, mayby too much syntetic but it’s normal for the price. Sillage and longevity are great, 8h and more…
EZuev1 – :
Very masculine and sophisticated. Sillage and longevity are great for the price!
