This reminds me of a Mary Kay perfume I remember my mom wearing back in the 90s…I can’t place it. It may have been Journey or Elige?? I felt this one had a little too much throw in the initial few hours (2 sprays, under clothing!), and I really just wasn’t a fan of this one. It’s a nice scent, but not for me. Lasted all day though, which is great for someone who pays for the full bottle of this one due to liking it!!! 🙂

Of the ten scents in the sample set, this is probably my favorite. It’s a fresh, fruity frag, easy to wear and inoffensive. The apple top note is crisp and realistic, not overbearingly sweet or “cheap” smelling (as apple sometimes is), and blends very well with the honeysuckle.
I agree with @kgallagher that Drunk On Youth bears a slight resemblance to VS Love Spell, which was always a guilty pleasure of mine. And much like Love Spell, men seem to enjoy this one, in case you’re somebody for whom that is a factor when picking out perfume. 😉
It’s nothing terribly unique or interesting, but it smells sweet and summery and is an easy no-brainer type scent for when I don’t want to think about what to wear. Bonus points for the cute name. I would purchase a small bottle of this if I found it at a deep discount.

On the paper tester this smelled like caramel apple, but on my skin it smells like fresh tart apple and honeysuckle. Sorry to those who say there are more notes, but I respectfully disagree. Im sure the dry down will be less crisp, as sour always evaporates 1st

I thought I would really enjoy this, but my skin disagreed with my vision of what this would be. It was not youthful at all. Instead more of a clean typical honeysuckleish floral. But my friend tried it on and had way more luck with the cute sweetness coming through. Needless to say, she got a free perfume today…

It’s the opening of J’adore, which sheers out instead of blossoming. I like it, I’m enjoying wearing it on the days when my beloved J’adore EDP is way too much. I think it’s lovely. It’s quite wearable which some days is really all I’m looking for. I don’t know for sure, but I’m sure this does smell like some body spray or another. I feel like this line is supposed to have a similar concept to body spray, only elevated. I don’t know this for certain, but the fact that DL10CS sort of arrived out of nowhere with a fragrance line instead of a single launch says to me he was sort of going for a broader concept. I don’t really think he’s being all that serious. IMO, you can’t really be mad or expect them all to smell like single launches, there is a difference. But if your expectations are rather unreasonably high, you’re not going to like this line. They smell like Japanese body sprays to me. I like that, though.

I know it’s fashionable to trash this line on Fragrantica, but I enjoy the 10 Crosby scents. Derek Lam didn’t do the line any favors by listing so few of the notes in each fragrance. The fragrances have plenty of notes that aren’t listed.
The dominant top note is juicy apple (more Honeycrisp than granny smith). The florals feature a sweet honeysuckle that evolves to a soapy finish. There’s also a wet green grass note that becomes stronger over time. The fragrance evolves a slightly woody note in its dry down, but there’s none of the trendy vanilla/amber that seems ubiquitous in modern fragrances.
This fragrance has wonderful longevity – I can clearly smell 10 or 12 hours after I spray it. Because it gets a bit soapy over its dry down, the fragrance ends the day smelling just-showered fresh.

Smells like VS Love Spell’s slightly older sister. Generic and safe. The one thing to say about it is that it seems like it lasts decently well–sprayed it on my elbow to test, scrubbed it off, and I can still smell it well.

Drunk On Youth is quite familiar, but I can’t quite recall what perfumes it reminds me of. It starts off as a fresh white floral with a hint of booze. As it warms up it becomes sweeter, thicker and more boozy. It’s fairly linear. Nothing really spectacular here, just very pleasant. I’d say it’s office friendly enough. I wouldn’t go out my way to buy it because it doesn’t really stand out very much.

Once again Bath and Body Works comes up in numerous reviews for a fragrance in this line. Seriously suspect! Candy apple and flowers. Nothing to see here.
rus.m13 – :
First off, I truly hate the bottles in this line.
Drunk on Youth? If by youthful you mean overly sweet and cheap. The initial spray is pure alcohol. The apple doesn’t read as apple, it is simply there as a sweetener. Whoever thought honeysuckle needed additional sweetening is beyond me. The honeysuckle tries to peek through, but the cloying saccharine nature of this fragrance prevents it from sitting center stage.
I truly prefer and recommend BBW Wild Honeysuckle. It is a better constructed fragrance and has better projection.

I received a sample. This smells almost just like dkny caramel candy apples. I just used up the remnants of my candy apples a few months ago. If you like this don’t pay $95 for 1.7 oz… Caramel apples is on eBay for $25-$40 which I think I’m going to do because I really miss that clean apple scent!
yxg057Bessinepome – :
I didn’t realize it is apple or honeysuckle at all until I read through all the reviews. Drunk On Youth to me is a night club scent. It reminds me of neon lights, clubbing, and raining street at nights. I definitely love it from the first time trying it on. It is very attractive yet a bit mean if you wear it with red lips too.

Fell in love with the fragrance and the story behind it immediately. I am sucker for honeysuckle and green apple as well so this was perfect for me right?
Would’ve been except it doesn’t last very long to be so highly priced @$95.00 for 1.7 oz.I don’t think so okaay.
Also the bottle looks like a white bio hazard suite. Doesn’t represent youth or romance, quite unattractive.
wtcfher – :
I received a free sample. One spray on my wrist, and at first I thought it was lily of the valley and in a couple of minutes I detected a fruit I couldn’t identify. But came here to fragrantica to find out it is honeysuckle and apple! Sweet in a lovely way. Not my type of fragrance, though.
7manut – :
Smells almost exactly as you’d expect based on the notes. It starts off as a bright apple – crisp, not sugary. Then it makes a very smooth transition into straight honeysuckle. Think Bath and Body Works’ Wild Honeysuckle with much better longevity and sillage. I don’t find it uninspired as the blend works very well together. However, $95 USD for 1.7 mL of this stuff is still definitely overpriced.

This was one of my favorites. It smells like fruity shampoo. I wanted to buy it because the bottle design is amazing. But too expensive :/

Reminds me of Bright Crystal and not honeysuckle, even Bath & Bodyworks has done it better… Very generic and uninspiring
