I feel like I have lost the only photograph I had of a loved one as I smell my wrist. I just felt like revisiting this because this is deeply person to me and reminds me of why I fell in love with fragrances to start with.
Sadly, the formula does not work anymore and I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it really has expired. I loved this fragrance as it had this unique citrus meets chili combination that worked like magic under the hot Maldivian sun. My sister used to wear this and I keep this as a post card of sorts to revisit treasured memories of moments shared together when we both used to live on the same island.
I always told her how delicious it was and she always shrugged it off saying it was “cheap and nothing special” throwing an incredibly beautiful smile along with those modest words. I used to sit in the living room long after she had gotten ready and left having just sprayed this simply because I could not get enough it.
I still have a bottle of this but I prefer not to take the lid off anymore because it upsets me so when I realize I am never going to experience the sensation this fragrance offers ever again. She just sits on my shelf like a fading photograph of a loved one that I can do nothing to stop.

I have a gift set of this for swap (new lotion and a tested EDP spray). Feel free to pm me! I am in Canada.

Lovely perfume, strong and fresh. One of my favourite, such shame its been discontinued. The cedar comes through strongly, blackcurrant…hmm not sure, orange yes, iris and chilli? Yes. I spray it at the start of the day and can still smell it at the end of the day.

Not keen on the vegetable notes, it smells a little cabbage-y to me.

Saw this today in the Body Shop bargain bin, and decided to give it a try.
    Well? No!
I don’t get any of the notes listed, only something resembling turpentine. Either I got a tester gone bad, or this is a really bad fragrance. Sorry…

Smells like a bar of white soap

This is a floral scent but I smell some fruit in it too. On the initial spray, it does not smell so good because there is the peppery smell which I dislike but as it settles down I love its fresh scent. I wear this mostly in spring because it feels as though I’m in a garden surrounded by flowers.

Dreams Unlimited would be so much better without those pepper notes, they kill this perfume for me. The initial spray is rather sharp and crisp, all I can smell is pepper and some citrus. Not my cup of tea although the drydown is quite nice.

I miss not having a Body Shop within close proximity to me anymore. With that said, seeing Dreams unlimited at my local Marshalls, I was happy to take the plunge on one of their products.
This is a warm, embracing fragrance. Soothing, calming, immediately reminds me of blue skies and huge, white billowy clouds. It’s another fragrance that I can put into the sleepytime category, or not. Mosses come through strong giving Dreams a Gothic feel for me, albeit a vestal virgin one. The song “A Whiter Shade Of Pale” for some reason popped into my head when I was wearing this.
Images of forests, castles in the background with moats, women with gowns embroidered with silk threads out on their stallions, the forest floor is lush and vibrant with foliage. It’s an earthy smell, its mid notes of iris, green pepper and red chili pepper staying strong. Radiates well depending on the season of wear.
Simplistic bottle with fair trade ingredients. That’s always a plus.

this perfume is so underrated . i don’t know maybe its because its not high-end brand . however
this perfume is so aquatic with a hunch of floral smell
so pleasant smell specially for summer
just leave it on ur skin for 10-15 mins and will feel good believe me
i just bought it today and i don’t regret buying it 🙂

I have a hate/love relationship with this perfume. The one time I absolutely love this perfume and want to douse myself comepletely in it because it smells so levely! It smells fresh and definitly is a daytime scent. But then other time I find it smeeling incredibly synthetic and it ust fills up my nostrils and gives me a headache. Even tough it’s a relatively light perfume it kind of is quite heavy in a way. This was a present and I’ll probably use it up but I probably won’t purchase it again. I definitly wouldn’t reccomend it to people who quicly get a headache from certain scents.

it actually smells a heck of a lot like a floral honey

I really loved this perfume until recently, Now i wear it and I get a headache from the pepper note 🙁

Effortless to wear on a summer day! Fresh and clean with a hint of chili to make it interesting and stand out from the crowd. This cute little drop shaped EdP definitely goes into my bag for summer holiday trips!
PS. Black currant is not mentioned as an ingredient on The Body Shop webpage. Neither is iris. Check out the review by sherapop for the official notes.

i love this! so clean and fresh ideal for summer days, reminds me the sea and the beach!! omgggggg i love it soo much!! :DD

Very crisp, but sweet. The green chili (it’s not green bell pepper) comes through and makes for a nice, light and fresh spicy fragrance. This is much better than Love Etc. but after one bottle I was over it.

  20. :

Soft, aquatic, cottony almost. It puts a smile on my face. Not over-powering, just the right amount of sillage and longevity. Really nice for a daily scent.

    I really loved this scent.
It wasn’t a scent I really cared for wearing out and having others smell.
It was more personal, and for me.
I would wear it at night while reading or relaxing in bed.
It definitely evoked a special, dreamy deliciousness.
If I remember correctly, it had a distinct spice to it.
The green pepper or chili pepper notes might be the case, but something about it had a warm spicy bite to it…which is why I never wore it out.
Nonetheless, it was an interesting, unique, and surprising fragrance…much like a dream tends to be.

  22. :

Tried this on, didn’t think it was very unique, but it was nice. Like others have said, it seems aquatic and unisex. It turned a little musky or cedary on me, but things do.

  23. :

Love, love, love this perfume! Wonderful for summer time! I do agree that there is a note that wasn’t mentioned in the description. Can’t say exactly what it is, but it adds more crispness and spiciness. On the dry down turns very warm, sunny, and fresh. In a nut shell: it’s a very pleasant and happy scent.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

Never really cared for aquatic fragrances before but I’m opening up to trying different fragrances. This is actually quite nice. More like a unisex kind of scent. Nothing ground breaking but it’s got it’s appeal. Since I’m new to this category I don’t have anything similar in my collection. Lately I’ve had a sugar overload with some of the fragrances that I own. I’m kind of girly in the way I dress and style my hair and do my makeup. So I think this would suit me well. The way I look at it is, that this would be like wearing an over sized masculine watch with a pretty feminine dress. It’s the juxtaposing of masculinity and femininity. It kind of offsets prettiness and balances things out. It’s like something new that you didn’t expect, it’s the element of surprise.

I smelled this perfume and thought: “I know this one!” Yes, because to my nose it smells like many, many other scents that are out there, yet are mostly anonymous because they leave no impact.
I do smell the black-currant and the orange, faintly – than it’s like a wave of water sweeps all the iris and the yummy harmony that this scent COULD have….away. It’s a shame and to my nose a failed attempt. Alas, not for me.
The Body Shop has some wonderful floral scents: Neroli, white musk, rose etc. But when they try to make a “mix” its like they don’t know what they’re doing.
I adore lots of their gourmand and floral body butters/lotions, and love teaming them up with the matching body-mists or perfumes. That’s where The Body Shops forte is: a yummy layering experience at a friendly price. Although I am sad that the quality and choice of products is diminishing. And that beloved products get discontinued very often.

I am really suprised that so many people disliking it-this is fresh floral that has a slightly aquatic feeling. I think its perfect for summer. Now discountinued Aqua Lily did bear some simularities to Dreams Unlimited but I think I like Dreams Unlimited better. Someone mentioned Cool Water as well-I have small bottle of Cool Water and Cool Water is much more unisex, citrusy and zesty to my nose. When I purchased my bottle of edp, I was given matching lotion for free. However, even layered, it doesn’t last more than 1.5 hour. I find also that it doesn’t project much or have much siliage. I like it but don’t love it

Too sharp.. Yuck !! Even worse on The dry down, too masculine !! Double yuck !!!

Where’s the cucumber note ? I smell a strong cucumber note ,, and I have been told twice that I smell as cucumber while I was wearing this ..
Lasting power & sillage are good (if you want more, spray more)..

OMG, this is so, so bad. Just awful. Tried the body lotion on my hands, couldn’t even stand that. And I’m normally not very sensitive to fragrance.

  31. :

I love this one! Very sporty and fresh. It reminds me of my favorite perfume by Björn Borg “Clean Green”.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Absolutely lovely! It reminds me of Estee Lauder’s Beyond Paradise.
The iris is soft and sweet alongside orange and blackberry.
The cedar adds a lofty base, making it an unlimited dream scent.
    Love it!
    10/10

  33. :

smells cheap and synthetic on me, very musky. Must be the iris in it…. try before you buy folks

  34. :

    4 out of 5

My opinion about this one is
“just another floral-aquatic” perfumes that has flooded the market recently. But the longevity is superb for the Body Shop’s.
    Not so impressed

  35. :

The green chili note saves this fragrance from becoming ‘basic.’ Definitely green and herbal, Dreams Unlimited is great for warmer days. The drydown reminds me of Estee Lauder Pleasures. I have this in EDP and honestly I like it for its good sillage and longevity. Perhaps it’s the green chili that holds the fragrance down and makes it last longer on skin.

My interest was certainly piqued by the notes listed on the manufacturer’s card for The Body Shop DREAMS UNLIMITED:
    citrus, green chili
delicate white flowers, fresh aquatic notes
    soft cedarwood
Unfortunately, to my nose, the “fresh aquatic notes” completely dominate the composition, making this yet another one of those seasickness-inducing frags which I find very difficult to wear. It may be that back in the twentieth century I overdosed on Calvin Klein’s ESCAPE. All I know for sure is that big fat aquatic frags, of which DREAMS UNLIMITED is certainly one, hold little appeal for me today.
If you’re looking specifically for an aquatic perfume, do give this one a try, since the green chili note does seem like an innovation–and it is detectable. I love Anne Flipo, and was very excited to see that she was one of the perfumers who created DREAMS UNLIMITED, but even love cannot overcome physiology: I have to decline. Désolée.

I really like this one. It is the closest thing to Roxy by Roxy (now discontinued in Canada) that I have found. It is also similar to Ralph by Ralph Lauren.

  38. :

As a reviewer below said, this reminds me totally of Davidoff – Cool Water. I received this from a friend, tried and tested by her but never loved. I actually like it quite a lot…I wouldnt say that its on my “to buy” list just yet but its growing on me!
The lasting power is very good, out living the majority of other scents I own, and I have received compliments on it every time Ive worn it.
    Worth a sniff 🙂

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Wow this one reminds me a lot of Ralph (the blue one). I find it fresh, femenine , light, youthful and not overwhelming at all. It’s a not expensive eau de parfum and it lasts long !
The body shop has great and unexpensive products, they’re worth it !

I don’t know why, but it smells totally creamy on me ._. like milk. good enough.

This perfume brings many memories with it! Such as memories of sitting in a classroom learning physics, knowing you won’t get anything better than a C+! I feel sorry for the person who made this perfume, because they’ve put all their efforts into creating a sleepworthy Elixir of Boredom! It’s the boring little sister of perfumes like The Body Shop’s Aqua Lily (please note: perfume oil form only), Davidoff Cool Water Woman, and Isabella Rosellini’s Manifesto. Pass this one up and get one of those if you want a good summery, aquatic fragrance.
P.S. I live in a ‘warmer country’ and it does not smell any better here either.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Watery cheap & synthetic mess. The Body Shop can do better than this.

  43. :

this reminds me of the davidoff cool waters that my mum wears, perhaps a bit sweeter, even the bottle is really similar!

  44. :

This perfume’s bod lotion lasts for a really long time… really Really long time!
It smells ok, good for summer

  45. :

    3 out of 5

this smells nice after the initial spray but doesn’t really smell expensive to me

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I think this perfume is very weird.Got the sample and my first sniff was, it was fresh and unique. The fifth, sixth sniff were, green pepper and bley sweet.
But later I still bought it. Now if I put on too much, it will smell horribly sweet. But sometimes it’s okay and some of my older colleagues (female in their 30s,40s) think it’s nice.
To conclude, I’ve got mixed feelings.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

It can be sharp but this perfume transports me to a garden full of wild flowers. It smells great and perfect for summer.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

A rather common and fresh scent. I’m not into aquatic kind of scents. This didn’t have anything I could point you out.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

Is it just me or does it smell like “Laura”? Too aquatic and in your face for me. I couldn’t detect the fruits, all in all it smells just a bit tacky and old fashioned.

  50. :

    5 out of 5

I tested this perfume the other day while wandering around in store to sniff all the other products. Never really cared about this one but I actually like it now.
I am very surprised to see all these bad and disappointed reviews. Wow.
I was looking for a nice aquatic for summertime use and I think this is it. Starts off fresh with a nice kick of citrus, just the right amount.
It definitely has some aquatic notes although the are not listed on this website.
The drydown is a little bit masculine to my taste, this might be the cedarwood which is usually one of my least favourite notes but in Dreams Unlimited it mixes well with white flowers so it is still nice.
I was impressed by the longevity, the fragrance actually stayed on my skin all afternoon even after washing hands.
If you are looking for a simple, nice floral aquatic, which is not too sharp, not too citrussy, with decent staying power you might want to consider this one.

  51. :

    3 out of 5

Synthetic and cheap smelling. It’s too much of an aquatic scent to be appealing to me in any way. Smells like a washing machine, and not in a good way.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

My girlfriend has this one. It smells a bit woody-sweet & aquatic, but too heavy for my taste. Kinda gives me an headache. So be careful not to spray on too much.

  53. :

    3 out of 5

Just for the record, the notes listed by the Body Shop are quite different from those listed on our database here:
    (Quote from the sample)
“Inspired by life’s endless possibilities, our new fragrance features upliftng top notes of citrus and green chilli, a heart of delicate white flowers and fresh aquatic notes, and base notes of soft cedarwood”.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

Nice smells but unfortunately it doesn’t long lasting on skin. Not valued with what I paid 🙁 but suitable for daily occasion.

  55. :

A nice fragrance that really lasts a long time, someone thought it was DKNY be delicious…

  56. :

    3 out of 5

A surprise to me..could be synthetic but the smell is so nice! a sexy femenine combo of florals, the important moment is in some minutes, iris and cedar mixed in a lovely balance..this is a really magnetic smell, nothing shy but not saturated..femenine, smiling, confident fragance.

  57. :

    Excuse me.
    I agree with Sara.
To me it’s a cheap smelling, generic floral aquatic.
Although has quite an impressive staying power.

  58. :

reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie L’eau without the staying power-

  59. :

well sarafirmino, i dont agree with you….this smells much better than LOVE ETC.
This is a sweet aquatic fragrance with some citrous scents…maybe you dont like these components but these really work on me, and i LOVE this.
this one fits teenagers, like myself, during summer but not winter, this is so beautiful.

  60. :

how can a perfume smell so diferent in a postal card (before it even gets here) and from a paper strip?
my guess is that they must have put something different at the postal…
anyway, the fragrance was so weird, at the point i realized it was not a female fragrance, not a man, and either a unisex fragrance. but perhaps a home fragrance?!
however, i can garantee you one thing, my home will NOT smell like this.. and i am being nice 😀
come on TBS! after your previous sucess with LOVE ETC i was expecting so much more.. then this!

  61. :

    3 out of 5

I went to TBS yesterday to find myself a new perfume and I saw this brand new perfume by TBS. I tested it and it didnt really live up to my expectation. It smells sweet, but its a little too sweet for me. So i’m not gonna recommend this for teenagers but I’d rather recommend this for an evening event type of perfume. It’s just not the kind of perfume you want to wear on a daily basis. It’s the kind that you want to wear on a special occasion. 🙂

  62. :

    5 out of 5

I agree with TankGirl, smells really cheap on me. Very generic. Alcohol based perfumes never work on my skin. Too bad but thank God I didn’t pay for it(I won a contest.)

  63. :

    5 out of 5

Tested this perfume… and it is gorgeous! There is a liquid, water element to the first scent and as it settles a wave of purple flowers grow and settle into a hidden fruit smell.
It is almost like “Beyond Paradise” By Estee Lauder, if you smell it carefully.
This perfume works well on any skin type, as long as it is moisturized often. The scented cream that comes with it works as an excellent perfume primer.
    BEAUTIFUL!
    Scent 9/10
    Staying Power ?/10

  64. :

nheeee didnt liked it. very sintethic and i actually think it smells really cheap, probably in warmer countrys it would be nice, but in the little wet britain it sucks.

today, i went to TBS and bought a lots of stuff from them
(god how i love this store ! )
    😀
this is beautifull, tbs are suprising me! LOVE ETC, neroli jasmin and vanilla are the most beautifull they own. and this one, will probably be a hit
(however , i am not sure about the name -.-)
i tested it in a postal strip, and it’s a beautiful combo of berries and orange!
and maybe some vanilla (too sweet it up a bit,) and white flowers… or maybe it’s the just the cedar illusion
when their bottles arrive here, i will give more details! 😀
