Prada is launching new exclusive collection of fragrances called Prada Olfactories containing ten editions: Purple Rain, Nue au Soleil, Tainted Love, Un Chant d’Amour, Cargo de Nuit, Heat Wave, Day for Night, Double Dare, Pink Flamingos and Marienbad. The creations are signed by perfumer Daniela (Roche) Andrier who said that that the scents are all intended to be “potent concoctions of the unexpected, provoking the cinematic experience of a partially remembered dream… It’s a strong vision that is far from cliché. They’re very different from what you’ll find on the market. They’re not done studying the trends of the market and create a bestseller; they are done out of the spirit of Prada.”
The fragrances are supposedly not done studying the trends of the market, but in keeping with the spirit of the house Prada. Each bottle contains a silk purse from Prada materials.
Double Dare is ascent of leather and suede.
Available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum for $300.

First of all this is not what a leather / suede perfume usually smells like. If you expect something like TF White Suede or Tuscan Leather, you will be surprised. This has nothing to do with it.
Remember that this one needs some time on your skin to settle down a bit. What I get is a salty and bit ozonic smell with some spices and a bit of suede in the background. Ideal for spring or summer, any age and any sex. It is indeed a very different scent, away from any trend. It’s a love from me.
*This review was written after several full wearings of the perfume and not just after smelling this on paper or on wrist.

Im getting 8+ hours on my skin. The leather and suede elements make a nice combo and I call this one a winner from prada.

It’s supposed to be leather and suede, but I get a bitter, salty incense tone before it turns sharp and slightly like ivory soap with a bite. It’s turns musty before I finally get dry nutmeg with cinnamon over an iris smoke. This one is kind of a chameleon on my skin since I hated the beginning, but it ended very delicate and gentle.

I Double Dare anyone to see if that can smell this after its been on for an hour. Super super light amber with a hint of leather. Not enough punch at all. Pass.

Wow, not the kind of leather I was expecting at all.. Very fresh (like earl grey) with almost no animalic aspect and turns sweeter as it dries; reminds me of Memo’s African Leather, but zero “dare”
