D&G Light Blue + Anna Sui Secret Wish + Bebe Noveau Chic = Anna Sui Doly Girl On The Beach
spayki2011 – :
Yes this smells like D&G Light Blue but it lasts for a whopping 5 minutes on my skin.

To Da8mui: Just buy Light Blue and you’ll have this scent.

It says Light Blue came out in 2001 and Dolly Girl On the Beach in 2006. That means Light Blue came first. Or have they mixed up the release year on these perfumes?

Soon going to relatives in the countryside and wondered which perfum I shall bring. First I thought about Paloma Picasso EDT, since it’s so light and close to skin and smells lovely. But then I thought that if it’s really hot outside, those flowers might come out stronger and it could turn into a headache. Hmm, a fresh scent would be better. Looked around in my “toybox” with all my perfumes like a kid on Christmas. Having read that Dolly Girl On the Beach smells like Light Blue, I thought I must try it. I bought it many years ago. Must have been when they launched it. I remembered it was very fresh, but not how it smelled. It was unopened with the pricetag still on it. Carefully took the pricetag and put it on the cardboard box after removing the plastic wrapping. I love to keep the pricetags to see how much the price changes during the years. The smell: It’s a siamese twin of Light Blue! Recently I thought about buying a new bottle of Light Blue, since I loved it so much. But since Dolly Girl On the Beach is a copy of it, I won’t have to. I have my “Light Blue” in a Dolly Girl bottle. This perfume will be the one I bring to the countryside!

My all-time favorite fragrance! makes me feel energetic and perfect for everyday! I’m just sad they don’t make it anymore

This perfume mixes really well with my body chemistry, and hours later it smells powdery and sweet. This brings back so many memories. I had this perfume since I was in middle school and I loved everything about it: the fresh, clean smell, the bottle design, and everything else. Two years after I got this perfume, Dolce & Gabbana came out with Light Blue, a perfume that smelled almost exactly like Dolly Girl on the Beach. What made me really upset was that there was so much hype to Light Blue and everyone seemed to love it, when there was a original fragrance exactly like it that everyone seemed to overlook. Anna Sui got cheated out on this. It pisses me off.

Very similar to D&G Light Blue.
Lovely summer scent.
The lasting power is poor but it smells so good that I don’t mind topping up again and again.
It is a little pick-me-up when I am feeling down, too!

A quick re-review as I have worn this fragrance for quite a few days now:
As it has been pointed out before, Dolly Girl on the Beach smells a lot like D&G’s Light Blue (and is therefore similar to Anna Sui’s Secret Wish and Moschino’s I Love Love, too).
Well, almost!
The difference is that Dolly Girl on the Beach is even fresher on initial spray.
The fragrance has a cooling effect and there is a delicate pepper note (I know that pepper is not listed in the notes) that adds a twist.
If Dolly Girl on the Beach lasted longer on my skin, I would actually prefer it over Light Blue.
All in all, it is really a great refreshing EDT for hot humid weather and puts me in a good mood instantly.

i like this bottle ^^”” want to collect all of them in Dolly girl

This is exactly why you should never “Judge a Book By it’s Cover”. Anna Sui fragrances are mediocre or stale compared to the captivating bottles they’re held in. I fell head over heels for the bottles but I knew my heart wold be broken later on cause they actual fragrances were so synthetic smelling.
Please dont buy a fragrance just because of the bottle itself.

this perfume is good for high school young girls. not for me. but that’s ok, i can still use it in the hot summer when i go swimming

This is a real lovely summer purfume!!

This fragrance is an exact doppelganger of Dolce & Gabbana’s ‘Light Blue’. Having thrown out my bottle of same, I was disappointed to order a cheap tester of Dolly Girl and discover I’d already worn, and tired of, this fragrance.
