Description

Designer duo Dolce & Gabbana launched their first perfume Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme in 1992, followed by its male equivalent Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme in 1994. Rich floral character of the feminine edition and aromatic – fougere for the masculine one, this perfume pair marked the decade of the nineties. In 2012, the designers have decided to “return to the roots” and to re-launch the two fragrances.

“It’s not so much a reedition as it is a fine-tuning,” said Gabbana to wwd magazine. “We altered the bottles a bit.…There has been an evolution [of the brand] since the Nineties, Domenico and I were much younger then — we’ve really matured a lot.”

The new Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme begins with notes of neroli, raspberry and tangerine leading to the heart of jasmine and orange blossom, over the base of marshmallow, vanilla, sandalwood and heliotrope.

The advertising campaign is shot by Mario Testino in Sicily with famous models Laetitia Casta and Noah Mills. The fragrances are available from July 2012 – as 25, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum for women.

This perfume is non compromising sweetness without looking back to original from 90’s. What a relief! That’s marshmallow jazz all the way with vanilla & sandalwood combination. I enjoy the delicacy, because it doesn’t project too much. When I keep smelling it, I think of Love by Kilian.

I have had my bottle for a few years now and ththe liquid has turned slightly brown. I must say I like the scent much better now that its aged than when I first purchased it.

There is a classic sweetness in this ,for some of U may be overwhelming , depends on the tastes ,if U r into sweet perfumes without that fake scent many of them have ,this is a great one ,can’t wait to buy the intense version also

I got this in a swap, so I have a slightly older bottle with a 2013 batch code. Sexy and delicious! Heaven in a bottle. It’s powdery, sweet marshmallows but it has a sophisticated flair. By no means is it juvenile. I have a feeling this one will get a lot of use. However, I could see how it might be cloying if you overspray.

I personally find this to be one of the strangest perfumes I have ever tested/owned, but holy **** is it distinct!
On myself it smells like a roasted/caramelised/almost burnt marshmallow, definitely not your typical store bought ones. A little vanilla with the tiniest hint of raspberry rounds this off on my skin as one of the most unique fragrances I’ve had the pleasure of smelling.
Whilst it is quite soft and sits close to the skin, it has a remarkable longevity that makes this little beauty well worth its price tag.

Soooo sweet and soooo sexy. Really Nice edition of The original. Vamp, lipstick types of women can wear This with ease. Longevity and silage are really great.
    Super delicious and feminine

This is my favorite perfume, but I did like the original a lot better then this one.
The perfume is soft and warm and makes you feel sexy.
I always get complete s with this perfume !

@elmccullar yep, synthetic vanilla, burnt rubber and… cardboard? Thats what im getting:(

Blech. Lol – That’s the first thing that comes to mind as I’m testing this one. It’s a chemically vanilla mess on me. I’m getting zero berries. I get almost a burnt rubber note. This must be one of those perfumes that my body chemistry ruins.

Pour Femme is a floral gourmand or oriental floral. Its notes are leaning more toward the yummy, sugary sweet and powdery side of things than the floral side. Wish it lasted longer but it is a very cozy, warm and inviting fragrance that’s simple and well made. Doesn’t smell cheap at all. If you like almondy, vanilla, fluffy, lightly powdery type scents then you’d most likely enjoy this! It doesn’t smell like anything else and is quickly recognizable as Pour Femme, but it’s still easy to wear.
Edit: I asked my 13 year old neice what she thinks it smells like and she said “Nerds Ropes.” I actually agree! Haha leave it to kids to blurt out the most accurate description ever 🙂

I blind bought this purely for the marshmallow note. At first this perfume was underwhelming-soft, weak, and I didn’t have an emotional connection to it. Maybe my nose couldn’t comprehend the marshmallow note? Who knows!
Dissatisfied I put it away and a few months later tried it again and it’s surprisingly very delicious for the same reasons I hated it for! It’s a SOFT marshmallow vanilla musk with a delicate wafting fruity aroma. WEAK projection, but I get compliments when people are close. Every. Time.
This perfume doesn’t TRY to be sexy because it already KNOWS it’s sexy. It’s effortless and simple. Can’t wait to try the Intense version one day!

Way too sweet for my taste -a blend of candy, berries, and heavy vanilla. I loved it then because I bought it the first time I visited Rome -my all time favorite city in the world. I loved the feeling associated with it, but not the perfume itself.
Reminds me of Manifesto, only softer and much less nauseating. I wouldn’t purchase it again for I am not a fan of sweet scents.

So after smelling this about a year and a half ago and getting nothing more than a blast of synthetic berry that disappeared within the hour, i bought a bottle online to give it another try; it was a good deal, thats why i got it lol.
Maybe my chemistry was off then, or the tester had turned in the store..or it clashed with whatever perfume i was already wearing that day, i dunno, but I tried the one i bought and was pleasantly surprised and how much more i like it now.
Yes its basic, but its light, sweet and completely innofensive.
I get a much lighter rasberry note on first spray, theres no sickly sweet synthetic sugaryness i got last time.
It becomes a soft fluffy, powdery heliotrope and marshmallow cloud for a few hours with little whiffs of sandalwood here and there but its mostly heliotrope; which is ok as i love heliotrope but i dont think the retail price is in any way justified.
I teied a sample of the original d&g for her with the red cap and instantly fell madly in love with it. Such a beautiful classic fragrance. Im not sure how two designers that have the ability to create something so magical ended up bringing out ..this.
Im not trying to get too negative, as i say, i do like this one and i think ill wear it in the day time when im just out n about and want something easy to wear or for a situation that calls for something innofensive and conservative.
It just seems a bit basic for how much it costs and i think that all they really did here, is find an easy niche market with the sweet powdery fragrance trend thats popular at the moment.
I know a lot of us are a little tired of the patchouli/praline headache inducing gourmands and the sugar sweet fruity florals that have been done to death so this is a nice refreshing easy to wear scent that can be worn in pretty much any weather.

Lately i have been trying all kinds of niche, luxury and “journey” scents – but i found this at tj Maxx (after testing it at a different store for double the price too!) and i LOVE it. It’s so pretty and feminine. Sometimes a scent doesn’t need to be anything complicated or expensive to be so enjoyable. This scent makes me happy and made me remember high dollar doesn’t mean a fragrance is better.

To me this is a like, not a love.Too much raspberry detract from the creaminess, the perfume has an acrid edge from the raspberry that almost ruins it for me. The Intense version is much better on my skin, the tuberose (a note I usually dislike) enhancing the creaminess that is soft and rounded without the raspberry. I love the Intense version, that, on my skin has a 5/7 hour longevity with moderate sillage for 3/4 hours. Very sweet but well made, suitable for a woman (especially the Intense, which I find very womanly and well balanced).

  16. :

It’s okay, not at all what I expected but it’s alright. I probably couldn’t have picked out the marshmallow-note as marshmallow, just something sweet but when you know it it kinda makes sense. I agree with all the reviews saying that this is a grown-up sweet scent.
Sits very close to the skin, not offensive at all. I think I will wear this at work only.
A little disappointed since I hoped for a “love” but that’s on me, shouldn’t be blind buying like a maniac.
I think it’s well blended and can work all year around. Looking at the pyramid only this doesn’t seem to work in summer but since it’s so light and close to the skin I think it will. I wouldn’t call this a gourmand. To me it gets much better, warmer and rounder in the drydown.

I have nothing against this fragrance, except it reminds me of my ex-husband (as it was the perfume he bought me). Unfortunately this fragrance associates with the part of my life that I don’t wanna remember. I am in a much happier place now 🙂
Fragrance links with affection, mood, passion, emotion, and memory…

I am on a slippery slope to loving sugary perfumes lately…. My absolute favorite is Coco Chanel, not D&G pour Femme, but I can see myself buying a small bottle of it. A sweet cloud, with a heliotrope twist. Very pretty and warm. My son said it smells like me, so I guess it works with my skin well. It is not a powerbomb, not over-the-top original, not too girly. A good perfume for work.

Opened with a bubble gummy sweet marshmallow added by some of orange blossom faded around.Longevity and sillage were good enough for reapplying throughout a day by this reasonable price.Nice and feminine!

  20. :

    4 out of 5

Sugary sweet with a hint of something synthetic. I haven’t yet identified what that synthetic note is, but it’s also found in The One, and it reminds me of plastic dolls and makeup (not necessarily in a bad way). I often say that LVEB is a good choice for the wearer of Pink Sugar looking for something more grown up… this is another option for that person. The marshmallow note really shines throughout, and the vanilla&powder sit in the background as well. Unfortunately, this doesn’t have the projection or longevity of LVEB.
When I smell this, I envision a young woman with perfect nails, a very feminine dress, thin heels, beautiful hair full of hairspray, holding some cotton candy.
Of course, that’s not to say that if you don’t fit that description this fragrance isn’t for you. That’s just the first thing it evokes for me. 🙂

I am in love. I do see why people say this is just pink sweetness, but i believe it’s a sophisticated, complex yet subtle fragrance. The marshmallows are quite noticeable, but not in a hurting-your-nose way, like some others. There’s vanilla and raspberry too, and a hint of sandalwood that gives it some depth. I can smell orange at moments, too.
I just wish sillage was better. It sits really close to the skin. Longevity is good, especially on clothes.

  22. :

    3 out of 5

D&G Pour Femme in its essence is just a fluffy pink cloud of sweetness. It’s not bad at all in its genre, but there’s really not much more to it than sweet, sweet, and more sweet, with the marshmallow in the spotlight in the opening and the vanilla in the drydown, and maybe just a hint of (sweet!) raspberry thrown in somewhere in between.
All this bold pink sweetness is so over the top girly that it almost makes me laugh out loud, and on most days I find it way too much – it’s almost beyond gourmand, so sweet it’s coming back to inedible. But I’ll keep my little decant around anyway, for those rare cold, sad days where I do crave an overdose of pink sweetness.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

A very soft, sweet, womanly marshmallow-vanilla smell. Warm, smells like dessert during winter. I couldn’t wear this during the summer unless it was for a cozy dinner date. While I don’t dislike vanilla, I am not a huge fan of predominantly vanilla fragrances and so despite liking this for what it is I will probably never end up with a bottle myself. However, if a nice, uncomplicated and gourmand that isn’t too immature is something you’re interested in right now, this is a great option.
I have to say, though– D&G perfumes confuse me a little. In neither Pour Femme nor The One do I detect a tapestry of complexity or a golden, baroque sophistication like I would expect from Dolce and Gabbana, but I guess what they go for in their fashion shows is not what they go for with their scents. Pour Femme is very commercially appropriate and very accessible, which I actually appreciate about the perfume. Not everything must be powerful and intimidating. I think this would be pleasant on a person of any age; just don’t look at the name on the bottle and expect Pour Femme to scream “sophisticated” for you upon going out in it. It will not detract from your coming across as such, but it will not declare it on your behalf. If that is what you want and inoffensive sweet aroma is not, maybe try a Chanel.

This is so wonderful. The way the marshmallow is combined with the white flowers is so unique. I had no idea what the smell was until I looked it up and saw marshmallow. Then when I smelled it again it all came together. It’s like a sneaky gourmand. No one would ever guess you’re wearing marshmallow perfume because it smells so mature. Very clever idea for women who want to fulfill their inner little girl in a discreet way

  25. :

This smells good but nothing amazeing. Marshmallow, with orange & a little floral. Its good, I see why people like it. But at this price point 3 hours longevity is inexcusable so I def wont be rebuying this. It also sits very close to the skin so no one can smell it. Its not at all what I like in the preformance of a perfume

  26. :

    5 out of 5

This is nice, not better nor worst than that. Smells sweet, but to me it’s a more mature sweet. I just wished it was creamier. I would buy it, but not at this price point.

I bought this one just because it was highly discounted in a local perfume shop and it seemed nice.I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do now!
If love marshmallow as a perfume note,or you love sweet scents which aren’t syrupy sweet but have a soft, fluffy kind of sweetness and are delicious but not totally gourmand, then make sure to try D&G pour femme
Marshmallow is really detectable here.not a toasted, smokey kind of marshmallow like M by Mariah Carey.not an overly fruity, berryish marshmallow such as ariyana’s.it’s the most wearable and easy to love form of marshmallow.it’s really ageless.while being a sweet scent it’s not cloying or sticky.marshmallow and vanilla are the most dominant notes to my nose.heliotrope comes next and gives this a touch of nutty and powdery vibe.it’s a really powdery scent IMHO.I don’t mean it feels like smelling poudre as in baby powder or smashed chalk.I mean that it’s fluffy,as if you’re. wrapped by a cloud of vanilla, marshmallow heaven.there’s a faint touch of orangey citruses when first sprayed but it goes away soon unlike the intense version which has stronger citrus notes.I can definitely detect raspberry here but it’s not a juicy or jammy raspberry.it’s more like raspberry flavour, something that gives a touch of baby pink color to this fluffy white cloud.white florals and sandalwood just give it creamyness and I believe they make this juice suitable for grownup women too without making it a floral or a woody scent
most people prefer sweet scents for fall and winter.I’m the same but I can wear this beauty year round.I find it easy to wear in different situations and I’ve always received positive comments on it.when I first tried it I thought it’s very soft and no one will recognize it.but I was wrong.it lasts for +6 hours on my dry skin and numerous complements are a proof that people can smell and like it on me
It has nothing to do with the old version of pour femme with red cap but it’s a very good one on it’s own

Overly sweet linear raspberry. The raspberry is candy-flavored, not fresh natural fruit. I find it trendy, uninteresting, and disappointing. The bottle has class but the juice seems tasteless.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

    Sweet trendy perfume.
But weather makes a difference. Now in winter it is lightly sweet raspberry and vanilla tone, but in spring and summer it is really strong smell of raspebrrish marshmallow which i can not stand. To sweet.
So now it is good time to test it. Cant compare with original red cap. Just judging this version.

Fine scent. Feminine as white lace, that in fresh, good-smelling and “perfumery” way. Beautiful. Not too strong, but doesn’t fade away. Pretty sweet, or very. Is it the sandalwood, that has soft “nutty” kind of a smell?
P.S. The sweetness combines to the “nutty feature” in a questionable way. There may be just a little bit too much sweetness in this perfume.
Pretty, but noticed, that it’s also possible to apply too much of it. I’m becoming more sensitive.

    Sweet: check!

Thank god, my skin doesn’t reflect the vanilla scent. Very sensual, warm, striking but not overpowering. It makes quite an impression- sillage: check!

I was very dissapointed, I thought it would be a stand out beauty being it’s not cheap buy honestly, for my nose this is very average and more celebrity scent like than I expected .
I actually think many of my less expensive scents smell much better. Looks at Fancy and winks 😉
Sorry but taking the price in to account, this is a big no for me.

  38. :

What a beauty. So sexy and comforting! If anything, this seems a bit too linear to me perhaps? The raspberry, vanilla and marshmallow notes really make this scent. Now, I just can’t decide if I should get this or Light Blue Intense…

  39. :

This is so seductive and sexy…perfect for a dinner-date, warm and cosy 🙂 On my skin this is so soft, if you like sweet vanilla, marshmallows-scents, you should try this. It also has a very calming effect on me, I think I need to get a bigger bottle 🙂 Can’t describe how much I love it 🙂
UPDATE: This is really true love 🙂

This is a sweet, dessert like scent with definite vanilla and marshmallow + delicate powderiness. Its not very strong or projecting ( and I’m not into powerhouses but its really faint)) but my boyfriend loves this one. Its got a little extra * something* on the trail end to make it more classy and not cheap smelling like Bath & Body works OE Celebrity fragrances like Brittney Spears. Perhaps its the sandalwood/ heliotrope. However I just have a sample I would not buy simply because there are plenty of cheaper gourmand scents which last longer. Hanae More…I agree there’s a resemblance. Still very yummy. The only other marshmallow scent I’ve tried was Marian Carey and I did not like it at all.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

This smells just like I have expected. This is very gourmand and not floral at all. On me it’s soft marshmallow with sandalwood, very delicate sweet perfume. Very nice if u hate loud sweet perfumes.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

I definitely can smell the marshmallow. Well, I have to say that the longevity is not that great, nor the projection. But it is pleasant in the first 2-3 hours, I would say unoffensive, office friendly and feminim. The drydown, on the other hand, got a quite agressive vintage smell to it, I could not put my finger on it, but it almost repels me. Overall, if you can bare the drydown, it can be a good perfume choice in any age, but this is not my cup of tea. I would give it 6 points out of 10.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve been wearing this fragrance every day for about a week, so I think I finally have a good idea of how I feel about it. I definitely “get it.” It’s a sweet, attractive, unoffensive, and extremely feminine perfume. I can certainly understand why this one appeals to so many people. On me, this is sweet, but not an edible sweet. At first spray, I’m hit with sweet, powdery white florals and a pinch of tartness. No marshmallow, no raspberry, no anything close to the delicious gourmand I was expecting. Over time, it simply becomes more sweet and less tart. The evolution of this fragrance is wholly unexciting, but is still a very sophisticated variety of pretty.
I have not received any compliments on this fragrance while wearing it, but SO did comment that I “smelled like blossoms” without indicating whether or not that was a good or bad thing. In general, floral-dominant scents are not quite my cup of tea. This one, however, is pleasant. I’ll continue to wear it to work, but I won’t repurchase. I’m keeping my eyes open for something that leans less floral.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Wow this is really great to me. It smells like one of those frosted cereal bars (with the marshmallow) and froot loops. But at the same time it doesn’t smell juvenile. When I wear this I feel like I’m wearing a sophisticated gourmand. And it projects and lasts a very long time on my skin & clothes. I love this and can’t wait to try the intense.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

I tried a sample of this and something about the fruit mixed with sandalwood somehow turned into the scent of Smarties candy on me. Like chalky sickly sweetness. Definitely not what I was hoping for.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

Weirdly enough it turned into a strong floral on me with a very faint sweetness. Mostly jasmine, orange blossom and neroli with some juicy oranges and a very small amount of sandalwood. I was really hoping for a vanilla-raspberry-marshmellow combination. I do admit I smelled marshmellows in the top notes, but most of the time it was a really strong floral.
Should test this one during the colder months. Maybe it’s too warm right now.
Would say that sillage is medium and staying power is medium aswell.
Not a big miss and not a big hit aswell. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me.

  47. :

I had to revisit this lovely fragrance to really appreciate it. It sat in my collection all through the warm weather, where I was so completely sure that it was a disappointing blind buy. But oh man was I wrong. It was pretty cold here about a week ago and I wore this again to see if I felt any different about it. Wow, it is so deliciously sweet! Marshmellows melting over the fireplace type of sweet 🙂 it’s sweet, but not sickening; young, but sophisticated. I think that I was wearing it in the heat and that just didn’t go well with my chemistry. But now that I know that it truly blooms in cold weather, I can’t wait for winter to get here!

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Sticky melted marshmallows with sweet warm raspberry. Super yummy and girly. I’m surprised to the see the word “adult” in so many of the reviews on this one. Even the noticeable addition of sandalwood and jasmine doesn’t make this remotely grown smelling to me! It’s only sugary fun!

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Is it just me, or does this smell like baked apples? I’m digging it! Not worth the retail price, but it’s such a pretty little perfume.

  50. :

I’ll put the same review on the sites of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme and Pour Femme Intense. They are so similar to me that I can’t write two reviews.
Both are mainly powdery, vanillic marshmallow and tender white florals. Gentle and subtle gourmands everyone with a taste for sweets could wear, tween girls in school the same as grown women at work. The Intense version is not intense at all, the main difference is that the original is more fruity in the beginning due to its raspberry note. The drydown is almost indistinguishable to me. Not exciting, but a soft, nice scent for marshmallow lovers who don’t want to smell of cheap bodyspray.
Not for me but I can’t imagine why someone would mind someone else wearing one of these.

  51. :

Update: I gave this to my sister. I literally can’t stand it anymore; it’s nauseating and headache inducing now :/ The marshmallow ruined this for me 🙁 Olfactory mood swings can be a weird thing!
D&G Pour Femme opens with fruity notes, then the florals and vanilla kick in, then finally it settles into a powdery marshmallow dry down. A few hours later and BOOM… freshness!! Such a surprise really! It’s not that the vanilla powder dry down fades completely, it’s just that it’s suddenly aided with some freshness (I’m guessing it’s the sandalwood), which evens it out before it goes back again into a cozy sweet powder. It’s sweet, chic, sophisticated but also laidback. Amazing longevity and sillage, spritz sparingly.

    Marshmallows for adults!
Sweet, fluffy, beautiful blend of marshmallows, vanilla and raspberry. Elegant and refined, not the girly teen mallow type of frag.
Sophisticated and mature, but also so playful and edgy.

The first thing this fragrance makes me think of are those chocolate-covered marshmallow pinwheel cookies, but in a really good way. Not overly sweet, but just gourmand enough that I want to take a bite. I don’t normally like sweet fragrances at all. I don’t like smelling like candy, food, or a 12 year-old girl, but this one is different. It just smells yummy! Wish it lasted longer on me though. I only get about 2 hours out of 3 sprays, but it’s still a winner in my book. Love the velvet box too. Stefano and Domenico did a good job on this one.

This reminds on that moment when entering into a hot car that was parked on the sun all day during a hot summer day. Seriously. I like it most when it dries down and when it becomes less flowery. Because in the beginning I sense a lot of heliotrope and jasmine mixed with sweetness and it is so weird cause it smells like a sweat to me. Later projects as sweet-non-candy feminine with a hint of vanilla and heliotrope. Hot car 🙂 Strange combo. Sits close to skin and has soft silage. Longevity is more than 6h and I can even smell it next day.

This is definitely one of my favourites. On me, it kind of reminds me of rice krispies squares made with colored/flavored mini marshmallows. A bit marshmallowy, a bit fruity, a bit sweet, and a bit powdery, all perfectly balanced, giving it sophistication.
This version is not too heavy, almost airy, so I have been wearing it at work with no issues. I would say it has moderate to soft sillage and moderate to long-lasting longevity. I spray 2-3 times in the morning and can still smell it, faintly, by the time I go to bed.
I tried the Intense version, and that one felt more like heavy powder. To me, this version is much nicer and more wearable.

This is so elegant and pretty, what I get from this is a sweet powdery marshmallow scent.
If you picture a vintage style photo of face powder with a big pink fluffy powder puff with a small bow on it but instead of face powder inside the tub, it’s a tub full of the light powder that dusts over marshmallows. Take your big powder brush, dab it in to your marshmallow powder and pat it over your neck and chest and that is what you have 🙂 there might just be a small bowl of raspberries on that vanity table aswell.
This really is lovely, is my favourite D&G fragrance by far, Now I just have to try the intense version.

.5 cent pink bubblegum from my youth meets raspberry mousse. I wish I got marshmallow but this is all pink chewing gum to me. Weak and disappointing. I’ll give the intense version a sniff before writing it off completely.

I’ve tried to like Pour Femme over and over again, but I just can’t. The marshmallow and raspberry are way too sweet for me – more like sticky, rotting fruit from a can than light, fresh berries. Or a Kool-Aid simulacrum of “real fruit flavor”. I don’t find it to be warm or soft at all. On me, it’s cloying, suffocating, and artificial.
Apologies to all who love it (and there are many of you!). If you like super sweet fruity scents, you should certainly try Pour Femme. But on my skin, this did not do well.

A lovely sweet & feminine smell. Quite generic, though. Safe blind buy or gifting option.

I just received my new bottle, and it was instant love. I love sweet fragrance that are playful, not overbearing or cloying. And this fits the bill. I am pretty sure this 100ml bottle will not last long, because I know already that I will reach for this beauty a lot. So yummy. Just perfect. It just bumped my Tom Ford Velvet Orchid off my top 5 list. Sorry, but this beauty is AWESOME! And you know when it is love, REAL LOVE!
Update: After discovering Si by Armani, beautiful Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme had to be dropped down to the top10 list, but she is still very, VERY dear to me. And if I hadn’t discovered Si, rest assured, she would still hold her position.

Nice and sweet perfume, love the marshmallow note…….
can anyone confirm the likeness of this to the INTENSE version ( does the dry down of intense finish up similar to the POUR FEMME which i adore, as i am still very on the fence with the INTENSE one. i want to like it but do not want to stray from my POUR FEMME..

I really enjoy this fragrance. It is yummy sweet, not sickly sweet. The combination of marshmallows and raspberries is seductive ; the drydown is really delicate which I like. I have been told how good I smell when I wear this. I will definitely want to get another bottle when I run out.

Clean, marshmallowy scent, perfect for all times, not so much for the Summer months though. The raspberry note is what I appreciate the most. Unfortunately it doesn’t last too long on me, but maybe after using up two 100ml bottles I’ve grown immune to it. Who knows… Definitely a love though!

I bought this for the marshmallow, because I love that note but find it’s often done in a more teen-fragrance way than I would prefer being close to 40 myself. My daughter loves it in other fragrances like Ariana’s Sweet like Candy, which I love on her, but I was looking for a more womanly marshmallow. On the opening I notice the mandarin briefly, and I like that there’s a bit of citrus to offset the sweet notes. I love the soft vanilla and the marshmallow. I’m not entirely certain that in my opinion this is much more womanly than some of the celeb marshmallows, and that’s fine, because it’s a really pretty, soft, yummy fragrance. Sandalwood is subtle but adds lovely supportive softness.
The raspberry, for me, is a suggestion but not a juicy or bold raspberry (I say this thinking of the contrast with raspberry notes in such fragrances as Hot Couture edt or Absolutely Blooming or Midnight Rose). I don’t know if “Fluff” is available where you live, but in my part of the US, we have a marshmallow spread that comes in a big plastic container and is very popular in sandwiches for children, with peanut butter, and this Marshmallow Fluff comes in a raspberry flavor, and I think THAT is what I find the raspberry and marshmallow comes through as to me. They’re not individual notes so much as a raspberry marshmallow, and that really makes me happy. It’s a happy childhood memory fragrance, and for that reason, I think I find it hard to identify as sexy, but I do find it pretty and feminine and youthful and happy. I almost notice a white chocolate note, which perplexes me, but not in a bad way.
Longevity is not long for me – when it’s in the first few hours, the silage is good, and I’ve been complimented on it just by the trail it leaves when I’ve applied it rather liberally including on clothing. I think it’s longer lasting on fabric, but it doesn’t develop the same as on skin. I don’t mind reapplying, because it’s such a pretty scent. I think it wou
