This reminds me more than any other the liquor and Italian “Galliano”.
Adorable on desserts and comfortable on the skin.

I wanted something Sweet, fruity, masculine and very high quality for summer and spring. I was going to get Creed aventus but i kept finding aventus to be common and very boring. Then i found Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi. Thers is no comparison. Dolce Amalfi beats aventus every day of the week.
    Bottle appearance :10/10
    Scent:10/10
    Projection:9.5/10

This is a heavenly juicy liquid. Smells like a ripe, mealy delicious fruit but it is not sweet fruity. Perfectly unisex. I love it but I wouldn’t want to smell like this every day. Perfect for a vacation scent for a trip to Italy or Greece in the summer. Makes me think of a glamorous modern woman driving along the california coast in a retro yellow convertible car. It smells like a garden with ripe fruit and thick shady vines. The fresh spicy steers it far away from gourmand territory. I would love it more if it had a bit more feminine, but I also love how perfectly unisex it is. Tempted to buy it just as a night out scent for summer.
This is my first perfume I’ve tried from this house. Really excited to try more because this one was so unique and interesting!

Clove bomb! Would have been good if there wasn’t so much clove. Oh well…

Using strong spicy notes such as clove, cumin and aniseed in a fragrance is more than just whimsical art – it’s a proper challenge. With that in mind, the fact that Dolce Amalfi does clove so well means that it’s more than just a drop dead gorgeous scent – it’s a true testament to the skill of the perfumer.
This scent opens with fragrant clove mixed with rich, sensuously ripe fruit. As time wears on, the clove bubble around you grows – if you don’t like clove, this will be the point where you either start to regret your purchase or start to realize the beauty of the note. This isn’t to say that the fruit is lost, though – the persistent freshness of Quince rescues it from being pigeonholed as yet another ‘warm spicy’ scent. The balance of spiciness and freshness makes it genuinely uni-seasonal.
The performance is phenomenal – large projection bubble/sillage trail and no less than 10 hours of longevity even in outdoor summer situations.

This is a love gourmandish scent to my nose, it’s like a sweet vanilla with a bubblegum vibe to it, very easy to wear and most people do like sweet smells, it’s just human nature as most of us like sugar, it’s the whole sweet thing we all like, so I have no doubt this one would be a compliment getter! But does it smell expensive and worth the price… no! I have tested other fragrance that smell Similiar but alit cheaper! There isn’t a lot of art to this so I wouldn’t buy a bottle because of that and the price but still delightful to smell. 8:10

a blast of cloves, coriander and quince. i would not call it light or summer version,it is quite spicy to me, yet interesting and nice, but i really cant imagine amalfi or any southern coast smelling like this.actually this one has that casamorati vibe to me almost all of that line has – some kind of old luxurious italy, while visiting italy i have seen a lot of some kind old but luuriuous furinture a rich culture and history vibe. and dont throw stones at me but in the base this smels like some fancy ironed laundry that has dried in the air and sunshine.

I agree the comment below, summer version of MFK’s grand soir, more creamy & orangy which can be easily worn during summer.

This is MFK’s Grand Soir, but the summer edition. The quince is realistic in the first hour then it dries down to this ambery, vanilla and clove combo that resembles Grand Soir. And I love it!

Hmm…interesting perfume! This is another one of those “weird but wonderful” fragrances for sure. To me, this is Xerjoff’s version of Amouage’s Interlude; a spicy, fruity and incense delight.
On me, I get the cardamom, apple and quince along with the tolu in the opening. As it’s drying, it becomes spicier and the cloves come in to play along with the incense, giving it a smoky character. As it’s drying, I notice some gourmand facets, even though this is an oriental. It kinda smells like a lemon spice cake. To me, it smells like an oriental gourmand. It’s unusual, but in a good way. I find it to be long lasting, as most Xerjoff offerings are. I think it’s good for all seasons and either day or night. I could see myself wearing this on a warm sunny day or in the dead of winter.
Dolce Amalfi definitely has a “sunny” appeal about it, but it’s also cozy and warm, further adding to it’s versatility. With all the fruits and spices, it smells like Christmas at a tropical location. I seldom have perfumes remind me of all the seasons in one bottle, but this one does.
Do try it if you like Amouage’s Interlude, Hanae Mori’s Magical Moon or Judith Leiber’s Topaz. Dolce Amalfi is along the same lines as the aforementioned. Hopefully, this will help anyone that might be on the fence about trying this unique creation.

I couldn’t imagine a more ridiculous, over-the-top bottle design. The crown of Lower Egypt capping an ionic column with an coat of arms and a tassle… It’s like a pretentious child came up with the design. “Less is more” was definitely not the inspiration here.
I received this as a gift and my friend insisted that I try it right away. I gasped when I saw the bottle, thinking that if the fragrance itself was as confused as the bottle, I was in for a nauseating ride.
Turns out the ride is very pleasant. I get a fruity incense, neither too sweet nor too dry. Very warm and cozy, slightly dusty. If the glow of candles had a smell, this could be it. More “festive” than gourmand, in my opinion, as it makes me think of Christmas. A light spray is more than enough, this fragrance has a strong sillage. I’m enjoying wearing this in the cold Canadian winter.

Well,I think there’s a thing between me and these xerjoffs;I have and love lira, bouquet ideal, dama biyanca, granballo and mefisto and today, after testing dolce amalfi,I knew that I have to go back for it
I can’t say much about it yet.just that it was warm, cozy and delicious.it feels like smelling a fresh out of oven spicy apple pie.Fruits, vanilla, spices and a touch of powder.and it’s longlasting
It can be great on a man but I’d also love to wear it myself (this comes from a girl who can’t usually get along with unisex fragrances)
I definetely have to go back for a better sniff.I see that clove is among most rated notes and I hate cloves

This smells like lemon, cloves, and powder with a vanilla cake type base. Maybe like a spice cake scent. I’m not a fan and I really think I paid too much for this. You could get a clearance price celebrity scent and get a similar scent at a quarter of the price.

Cinnamon cloves with cardamom flavor bubblegum.
It begins harshly with black peppers, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and hints of tingled saffron. Then, the bubblegum cheers up and comes to mingle with the crew. It nearly goes near the tingly hot cinnamon gum “Gum Brand flare” with hints of “Anglo bubbly bubble gum”. It’s not really a bubblegum, but it has that bubblegum note all over.
It reminds me allot of “Fêtes Persanes” by MDCI with more sweet bubblegum note, and also reminds me of “Ouvertur” by Sospiro.

Very summery nice warm quincy and tolu balmy sweetsour fantastic memories of childhood!
Harder and more growup variation is Ivory Route. Both are superb!

Agreed with D-Bo below. Its fairly derivative and smells like Erba Pura possibly mixed with a little apple/incense. I was hoping, given the name, that it would sit somewhere between Nio and Uden with perhaps a fresh apple note but that’s not what we’ve got here. There are better from this line, as already mentioned. I’d perhaps give it 5 or 6/10 on fragrance/smell alone but don’t recall performance.

I tested this early 2017 at the Xerjoff boutique in the Dubai Mall. It is an exclusive to Dubai for the time being but it is nothing like a typical Middle Eastern fragrance. It is more light and airy than intense. A nice scent, but nothing to write home about and nothing that tops the heavy hitters from the Casamorati lineup (i.e. 1888, Mefisto, Fiero even Regio) from a performance or a scent standpoint.
It’s generally pretty easy to wear but not super powerful in my opinion. I’d say projection is moderate.
If you are looking for something out of the lineup, this likely isn’t the one. I’d suggest looking at one of the ones I mentioned above. It suffers from mediocrity and at this price point, that’s simply not good enough. I wanted to like this based on the fact that I was in Dubai and this would have been super exclusive elsewhere, but this fragrance simply didn’t speak to me.

I had the chance to smell this at the Xerjoff Boutique in Dubai yesterday and regretted not going back to buy it. It has a very fruity sweet opening, rich fruit that stays the whole 9 yards. A couple of hours in though I get the incense making an appearance and this stays too. I can’t think of any other scent that blends the freshness and incense so well. I was told it’s a Dibaik exclusive for now at least and was on sale for about £250.
