Amazing scent with a very modern vibe. Opens with sweet floral ylang ylang and jasmine transported by a fresh initial burst of bergamotte, followed of lovely woody aspects and powdery yet creamy osmanthus, hints of cloves detectable, just the tad to give it that special edge down to the base, fading in a very creamy amber vanilla trail with watery hints of sweet flowes.
Sillage very good, longivity amazing. Not a very popular, but a very good oldie. Love the simple funny bottle too. A young hearted one, funny and elegant. Love it.

I purchased this based on the notes … hoping to replicate my 1970’s fav, Jovan’s Frankincense & Myrrh. I got 70’s, it smells like a lighter version of Revlon’s “Jontue.”

Feminine, fresh and romantic floral. I get mostly osmanthus, jasmine and lily of the valley…and something else that smells somewhat ‘pink’, not sure if carnations or the bit of vanilla in it. It smells so much like TBS’s Moonflower, has a similar watery-floral scent, but DNA Femme is thicker, sweeter and more complex. I don’t get any spices or resins at all here. Will make a great gift for any female aged 15-105. A scent for everyday, casual use, and for the office…it’s safe, budget-friendly, pleasant, yet not flat or boring in the least. It’s not too light or wispy even though it’s a soft scent, which is what I like about it, it has some presence. Great especially for spring and summer. Lasts 6-7 hours on me with a lovely, airy sillage that makes me think of springtime.

It’s actually all about violets, blended with kind of watery freshness. Gentle and feminine perfume, quite linear IMO, but I like it very much. Smells wonderfull.
Staying power is so-so, the price is still ok.
If you love gentle flowers , go for it !

This one I tried yesterday too and it is really FANTASTIC! I love Claude Dir actually!!
It is a warm white flower and resembles the Chique Oriflame Grace. The bottles are resembling too!
GREAT perfume!!

In the style of a classic perfume, undeniably feminine , no question it’s a floral perfume, but not in just a stale, boring way, there’s something very fresh in here too, almost like you are caught in a warm breeze carrying the scent of flowers from a nearby garden in it.
Really gorgeous white florals are the pricipal divas here, I’m assuming the clove in here is what makes this perfume almost sparkle ,lively & fresh smelling.
The spices & oakmoss keep it from being suffocatingly ‘too’ floral.
Quite a beautiful, romantic scent. For some reason the idea of A Midsummer’s Night Dream & all it’s characters & settings jumps into my head while wearing this perfume.
Very longlasting, not shy.
The bottle representing a DNA strand does not give the right impression of the type perfume contained inside , the bottle is clinical looking , the potion itself is beautiful & voluptuous indeed.

This was very strong at first, but it dried down to a nice white floral scent on me. It is a rich scent and very floral and yet I really like it. I feel like this would be perfect for more of a special occasion, but I would like to wear it anywhere but it might take over everyone! I find this unique and intoxicating, the oakmoss adds a semi earthy grounding to the scent which otherwise would be too intensely floral. For $12.50 I think this might sneak its way into my apartment!

Intoxicating, complicated, seductive scent. My girlfriend used it for a while and that`s how she met her husband – he asked her what kind of perfume she was wearing! Later on he didn`t want her to use it around anyone else, because he wanted to keep it for themselves…She says it`s a kind of story you tell your grandkids, you know? I still can remember the sweet, rich, voluptious floral scent of her hair and want to try it sometime on myself, see what happens 🙂
