Description

New collection of limited editions of the DKNY Be Delicious fragrance (2004) for 2014 is inspired by springtime in New York and is named DKNY Be Delicious City Blossom. The collection consists of three fragrances: Urban Violet, Rooftop Peony and Empire Apple.

DKNY Be Delicious City Blossom Rooftop Peony captures scents of flower gardens on the roofs of New York buildings. This “dreamy” fragrance mixes notes of juicy mandarin, bergamot, pink lady apple blossom and black currant with intense rose absolut, velvety peony and sweet raspberry, and sensual amber, sandalwood and reseda in the base. Ideal for daily romantic moments.

The fragrances are available as 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

Truly, this is a magnificent fragrance – it is going into my Top 10.
It is so similar to Estee Lauder’s Pleasures but about half the price. The only downside is the longevity which fades quicker than Pleasures.
Tonight I have Pleasures on my left wrist, and DKNY Be Delicious City Blossom (Peony) on my right, just to compare and they are almost twins! I love them both.
The dry-down gives rose absolute aromas and anything with sandalwood, bergamot and peony in it, I know I will love.
This could be worn either day or night, it is so lovely.
Fresh and romantic, and I would recommend this to anyone of any age who wants to feel and smell good.
So if you can’t afford Pleasures, then buy this one!

This is a beautiful DKNY perfume. It smells fresh and clean and the fragrance is light floral.
With the price its worth a trial. I wear it as my day perfume quite good for work.
the longevity is moderate lasts 3 to 5 hrs need to re apply once mid – day and it sets me for rest of the day.
My Husband says its fresh but then he is not a huge fan for this perfume.

A soapy peony scent with some fruity undertones. Uncomplicated and pleasant if you like peony.

This is a lovely, light, floral. It’s not too sweet, but it’s not in any way sharp, it’s just a fresh feminine scent. I’m not a massive fan of rose, but the rose takes a backseat to the peony and just helps give it a little depth. A nice every day scent for spring/summer, moderate longevity and sillage.

I was expecting something fresh, fruity and really feminine but disappointed. Smells CHEAP to me!

After falling hard for Yankee Candle’s Peony from the My Serenity range which was released in the UK in early 2016, I knew I needed more peony in my life. So I set to browsing the notes database entry, and created a shortlist of peony perfumes to try. After being disappointed by Versace Bright Crystal (the peony just isn’t the star of the show), I ordered this little number, and my goodness.
It was everything I hoped for – fresh, sweet, floral – a little bird singing on a spring morning at the window of a Parisian apartment – blush pink lingerie and rumpled sheets in sunshine; it’s feminine but not girly, happy but not naive.
My preference is to layer this as carefully as possible – using a little vaseline on my pulse points – applying Kate by Kate Moss EDP, which is a lovely smoky rose for the base, and then going to town with Rooftop Peony.
It’s just a shame that as a limited edition it’s only available as a single size EDT – if they were to formulate an EDP version I would be in heaven.
About a month ago when peonies were in season I bought a bouquet of those sorely underrated blooms, and while perfume brings an exaggerated, fantastical element to the keynote, I can report that Rooftop Peony is true to life, heightened and concentrated. I can imagine that layering it over something with a plethora of green notes would bring those spring bouquets to life even more vividly.

Feminine smell with rose and a little berry. I bought this spontaneously and i’m trying it right now. It’s fresh and quite longlasting.

I used to love Ralph Lauren’s Glamorous but they discontinued it. I came across this one and it reminded me a lot of it. It was like the same but a more moderate version. Great smell for a night out, very appealing. I feel expensive, powerful, and playful, when I wear it; its definitely a fun, flirty, scent to have.

I really like it! it is pretty and feminine, the peony smells fresh, overall, what a lovely scent for spring! it smells like the bottle looks, pretty and fresh! I detect a bit of amber in the base, and some apple blossom! it is kind of a grown up happy scent.longevity isnt outstanding, still nice creation!

I wanted my boyfriend to buy me DKNY Be Delicious London from abroad, and he bought this one by mistake. I was disappointed, but happy at the same time because this is a very soft fragrance quite appropriate for spring and summer times.
Till now, I have used London and this one from DKNY, and neither one lasts long enough to feel refreshed for an expectedly lengthy amount of time, so you might need to spray some from time to time if you want to elevate your spirits. However, neither this one nor London suffocate you with a sticky feeling or anything else. So, a good perfume-to-use for a light day.

I just won this in a contest (I know =)). I don’t think I would have tried this just walking by in a shop, I only like some of the other apples, and the original pink one is not for me. But this is quite nice. Very spring and summery, not too light, (I don’t like them too light) It will be a nice change from my heavier fragrances. You can still smell the original flowers in this, but it is less watery, so in my opinion better!

Lovely fresh, petal-y and very much like a real Peony on a early Summer day. Fruity Blackcurrants and some overall “juicy” feelings – the scent for me for this summer….
I will stash this, as it is limited in Germany….

I saw it in catalog, so went to a shop to try it. And I am not disappointed! It is delicate flowery scent, a bit sweet, but mostly fresh. I can smell peony and rose, very subtly based on sandalwood.
It is nice spring & summer fragrance for sure. Safe for work.

WOW tried this just by chance, and I absolutly LOVE it.
It smells how imagine the colour pink to smell. Its not too sweet and is also a bit musky which I like in a perfume.
Very fresh and has the feel good factor 😀 Big thumbs up from me – purchased immediately!
