Description

Dita Von Teese launches her first fragrance in the fall of 2011. The fragrance reflects the spirit of a “Femme Totale” – sensuality, mystery, glamour, elegance and confidence. The fragrance opens with fresh bergamot, peony and Bourbon pepper. The heart of Bulgarian rose, Tahitian tiare flower and jasmine is placed on a warm base of incense, patchouli, musk, guaiac wood and sandalwood.

“A scent needs to reflect all the different facets of my personality. It had to be elegant, glamorous, sophisticated, sexy, dark, and mysterious,”
says Dita.

The black glass bottle design is inspired by vintage style of 1930s. The elegant upright bottle features a ball atomizer. The neck of every bottle is adorned with a silk cord with a nail polish-red pearl, which flows into a long black silk tassel.

The fragrance is available as 20 and 40 ml EDP, 150 ml deodorant spray, 200 ml Shower Gel, 200 ml Body Lotion.
The nose behind this fragrance is Nathalie Lorson.

The most sensual rose & Jasmine accord paired with a heavy dose ofpatchouli that becomes smokey as it dries down. It definatly has a vintage vibe to it and would be perfect for a cool fall day or any occasion when you want to feel sexy and gorgeous. I’m glad I was able to get a bottle of this since it is discontinued and now pretty pricey on the bay. It was this fragrance that made me discover that I absolutely adore Rose, Jasmine and Incense combos.

This is incense and rose on a strong woman. While it definitely isn’t one of the finest, it does a superb job of mimicking Dita’s persona. It starts off strong with a blast of rose however almost plasticky at first spritz. I will say that fades off quickly into a heady warm floral that emotes a sexy darkness. If Erotique is sex in a bottle, Dita is the foreplay that led up to it.I have all of the Dita fragrances, and this one is my second favorite. The lasting power on Dita Von Teese far outlast any of her other fragrances. I find them to be very moderate in longevity which is a shame since all 4 are stunningly beautiful. It’s really a bummer she decided to forgo her partnership with this House and move to, in my opinion, a new house without any reputation. Her original 4 scents will go down in Niche History for me. I want to add a side note, just as someone who has been wearing her perfumes since they were introduced. I see below someone mentioned she though she had gotten a fake off eBay because it smelled of alcohol. Well you did. There is a seller on eBay out of Hungary that is selling fakes and or opening and diluting with alcohol. It is only a remnant of her actual perfume and is cut with so much alcohol that it is all you smell upon first spray. Then it dissipates to a very faint scent of what should be there . My husband once made the mistake of ordering a bottle from them and it was immediately sent back and refunded. Be careful with this one as there seem to be a lot of dupes. All of Dita’s perfumes smell strong and lovely at first spray.

This is insta-empowerment, bottled. This fragrance makes me feel bulletproof. Still, it’s not one that would last – in a bottle, that is, for it works perfectly well on the skin. But I bought my bottle a year and a half ago, and, well-stored, it lost most of its kick.

Peppery rose, very well balanced with pepper and bergamot and smoky notes – none of the notes seem to be dominant. This scent is not overly erotic, it rather stimulates your senses and imagination, as the combination of notes is not an obvious one. Definitely worth testing if you’re looking for something totally different from the mainstream but not necessarily avant-garde.

Since this is a discontinued fragrance, I purchased this from Ebay. Honestly, my first impression was like ”Is this a fake?” It smelled just alcohol and something super mild and generic. BUT after ~10 minutes the scent started to get stronger and show it’s real characteristics, and now I’m in love. It’s rich, mysterious and floral, but I can’t identify the single flower species.
I’m afraid I have to purchase another bottle.

This is a great comfort scent when I need to beat the blues or am overcome by bad memories – I’m surprised by how much I like it. Lovely bath range, too.

Classy, vintage, elegant are the adjectives that come into mind when I smelled this. The bottle is really cute and doesn’t look cheap (even if it’s only 30 EUR). It really seems like Dita Von Teese took her time developing this perfume. It’s definitely for nighttime use. It reminds me of the Poison purple line from Dior but less stuffy. I blind bought this perfume and I’m really happy I did but sadly it doesn’t last on my skin.

My first modern celebrity fragrance or rather a celebrity that isn’t Elizabeth Taylor! I must say that initially I was hesitant to buy since I’m not a fan of Dita’s in the least. I don’t approve of her strip-till-she’s-nude burlesque acts though I think when she is dressed glamorously in vintage 1940s 50s couture she looks very good. But then I thought it’s good to keep an open mind when it comes to celeb scents and not to judge a fragrance based on the brand/celebrity name because you dislike the celeb. So I blind bought this perfume and I don’t regret it. It’s exactly as described by the reviewers though perfume has the transformative power to change itself on everyone. First of all for a young woman’s brand, this is a very mature fragrance. My skin chemistry really likes this perfume very much! Who’d have thought a perfume like this would suit a woman my age! It’s modeled after what I feel is an Old Hollywood floral toilet water, the florals are rather nondescript and somewhat mysterious, a bit hard to figure out, but definitely a green floral chypre Oriental. For an Oriental fragrance, this stuff’s subdued, soft but a long lasting steam of perfume. It’s nocturnal, and smells so good in the evening/night time to wear to a formal event all dressed up. Just as one imagines Dita in a 1940’s lounge singer gown, with one leg showing through a slit on the side, sexy, mature, sophisticated, glamorous, very classic and dark but not Goth.
Opens with an old time aldehyde type of scent but I realize it’s my mind playing tricks on me. Not aldehyde but the citrus juice with a zesty and lemony freshness that can pass for aldehyde. There is also something almost powdery and soapy as it starts with citrus and floral notes. A green rosebush pops up in the first few minutes, definitely rose. But then it develops into an exotic night blooming jasmine and patchouli scent. These aromatic notes are decidedly Oriental perhaps unisex with some leathery musk and guaiacum wood notes not to mention well-rendered sandalwood. This perfume has a narcotic effect. It’s an intoxicating peppery, sultry, smoky scent. Smells like I imagine Heddy Lamarr would have smelled like in a classic Golden Age of Perfume Oriental fragrance i.e. Shalimar. Speaking of which Dita looks like she could play the role of Heddy Lamarr if she ever did a movie biopic on her.
The florals are equipped with musk in the dry down, woodsy notes and a veil of incense, coming through as a mysterious dark flower garden bathed in moonlight. This perfume can be enjoyed by young perfumistas who have worn ‘mature’ celeb scents such as Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights and Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton Tease. Unlike KK and PH though this is not as fruity floral. In fact this is the only celeb scent I can think of that has no typical fruity floral airs. This doesn’t smell like sweet things and girly girl things most celebrity perfumes carry. Doesn’t smell like strawberry shampoo, doesn’t smell like cotton candy, gourmand scents of cupcakes and sugar, doesn’t smell of overly sweet bubble gum and flowers. The flowers in this scent are not the sweet floral type but the exotic dark floral kind (Shalimar florals). The fragrance is not fruity and that lemony opening is only a starting point before it turns into a spicier and darker unisex floral with wood and musk.
Not a bad perfume at all. This is long lasting because the dry notes/base notes of wood and musk and what little incense is in it gives full support to the florals in the heart. Even with good longevity it has moderate projection and can’t be detected by anyone at a distance. It is tamed but not boring. It has a gorgeous 1920’s vibe. Very sexy. It makes me want to dress up in a backless black gown and hold a large cigar holder stick in a pair of black gloves. This is a fragrance that matches up with old vinyl LPS of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Cole Porter, Rudy Vallee, Ella Fitzgerald. It’s a nightclub act perfume. Very chic and stylish but definitely more on the American ‘jazz’ side than a classical European. This smells so wonderful. I recommend this to anyone with good taste.

I seriously love this perfume! It is one of the best perfumes I ever had.
It’s so unique in every aspect.Indeed,is has some”old”and”vintage”vibe to it,but I love it.I somehow believe this perfume is targeted to older and mature women, but it suits me good, even though I’m not that old.I used soft, sweet”girly”perfumes,so of course changing the category was a challenge, but I was surprised in a good way.I love the”goth”or”dark”scent of this perfume,it gives me a mysterious and elegant allure.Another unique aspect to me is that it seems to smell somehow different, but not in a bad way, every time you use it.For example, the first time I used it,it smelled like something old, like a mother or a grandmother would use,and the second time,I swear that on me smelled like honey, and after a while,I could smell the incense.
I also love that it is extremely persistent,it lasts on me all day and even after bath.
The only”con”part I found was that it was kinda pricey, even though I heard this is a drugstore perfume. From where I bought it,it was about as expensive as a high end perfume.About 40 euros I think. But I bought it on sale,so it was a win-win.

I find it to be just a lovely, wearable, floral with dominant rose-peony, balanced with musk(not too clean) and clean patchouli. Not too sweet and it lasts all day on me, though wears down to a slightly woody skin scent. It does have a bit of a makeup vibe going on which lends it a retro feel. For those days when I want to exude femininity, I reach for this one and I also love to pair it with a masculine outfit. I do get compliments on this one when I wear it, which is a rare occurrence for me.

The creamiest, dreamiest jasmine, rose and soft incense mingle on a base of sandalwood, pepper and musk. Very pleasantly surprised by this. It’s vintage-inspired without being vintage but also not modern. Very pleasing. Soft sillage, clearly meant for those that get close, and I really love that. Glamourous, effortlessly elegant.

Dita Von Teese is a beautiful scent on the skin, one that I feel is a homage to the “drugstore classics” of yesteryear. I’ve definitely smelt something similar to this before, but unfortunately, I can’t remember what that is.
DVT has created one of the few celebrity scents that I could actually imagine Dita herself to wear. She has definitely been inspired by vintage scents, but this is still very much a contemporary fragrance, as the structure is modern and it does not smell dated. Patchouli features in the base and the composition overall smells sweet and fresher than a true vintage, whilst the opening white florals is what smells the most “vintage” to me.
This seductive and enchanting perfume opens as a bursting white floral with hints of something sweet, and the smell is heady, warm, lush, and a bit powdery, too. I think the jasmine and tiare are the most dominant on my skin. As the scent progresses into a creamy and peppery white floral, it always remains sweet, before it develops into what I think is a darker rose with incense. In this phase, the projection is much lower, and it soon becomes a skin-scent, intimate and sexy.
Dita Von Teese works very well for me as the sweet flowers are supported by a woody base. I am still yet to smell the patchouli and I will mention that I loathe the stuff, so if it’s hiding in there, I will definitely know about it! Except for some unknown reason, I seem to be able to wear scents that have both pepper/pink pepper and patchouli in them. I don’t know why that is, but here it just works 🙂
Longevity is for about 4-5 hours; sillage was soft to moderate.

Well, this one kind of gets there eventually.
It takes a long time to get past it’s mish-mash generic opening. Give it time, though. Eventually, you’ll get a nice smokey jasmine. I’m not finding that it has a huge amount of projection, unfortunately.
    For me, it’s just ok.
The 20ml bottle is gorgeous (although, a bit annoying. The tassel clasp, that stops it from spraying in your bag, also sometimes knocks off the sprayer when you try to remove it).
    I’m glad I only bought a 20ml.
    Nice enough.

Dita Von Teese is such a tease! This fragrance fits her personality so perfectly. I’ve seen her burlesque show and would love to be doing that myself. This fragrance is very different from other celebrity scents. It wears more like an old fashioned Hollywood glamour cologne. It’s not quite an Elizabeth Taylor perfume although I think it might have a little in common with Forever Elizabeth, and although she was saying she wanted a fragrance to smell like it was “mature” for older women and not the bubble gum candy cotton candy gourmand sweet celeb perfumes like Britney Spears fantasy, I think this is still pretty youthful. The peony flower an the tiare and rose are sweet, feminine, and girly not womanly. There’s a touch of incense patchouli some spice courtesy of pepper and some wood very sophisticated and grown up but the projection is shy. It smells very good and very seductive. It’s like others have suggested a showgirl costume. I love it and I love the bottle. I have bought 3 of them. I wear this out on dates. Gorgeous.

I am a bit late to the party having wanted this fragrance since it was first released(2011). There was never any opportunity to try this before buying it as it never was in any shops here in the U.S. I am a big fan of Dita’s style. During the 80s I lived in vintage clothing, gloves, hats; the works. I was very curious about what kind of perfume she would put her name on. In 2013, I got a bottle of Erotique but sadly, let it slip through my fingers. Now that I would love another bottle I find it is rarer than hens teeth and that her perfumes are no longer as widely available. I did, however, get this one and am pleased that I did. Although this attempts to harken back to the glory days of vintage florals, the heavy tiare smells to me a lot like M by Mariah Carey minus the marshmallows. It does not last longer than 3 hours on me which was a disappointment. I got mine at a good price, so my slight disappointment is not a tragedy. However, think twice before you bid too highly for it. Invest instead in a real vintage perfume that you know and love.

This soft feminine scent mixed in with a winters breeze was all I needed to feel cosy. Like a flower wrapped itself around me. I felt elegant and quite superior while wearing this. Mainly because it is a very unique & mysterious scent and reminded me of the beauty herself.

I bought this as a blind buy and I have to admit I am a little disappointed. I was expecting a more incense based perfume; something with a kick. What I find is that it is much more flowery than anticipated and smells so much like Kate Moss’ first perfume ‘Kate’. That doesn’t mean it is not a nice smelling perfume, it is just not what I was hoping for. I think I was taken in by the black packaging and I never imagine Dita smelling like this. I am a Donna Karan Black Cashmere girl so I guess most perfumes will smell a little tame compared with that classic.

As others have said, this stuff really performs and I think the quality is exceptional given it is a celebrity fragrance, at the end of the day, and I feel like the majority of them can be redundant and same-same and screech on the skin bar a few (Fantasy by Spears, Fancy by Simpson, M by Carey) but this is a perfect, seductive night fragrance.
I definitely couldn’t see me wearing it in the day except in the cooler months but even so… more at night time and for certain occasions. It’s a good fragrance for the night you think you want to progress the relationship to the next level 😉
Balsamic, warm, caresses and teases and packs a punch from beginning to end. This would pair well with the sexiest dress in your collection just as it would the most elegant. It brings to mind the old world in a kind of distant, slightly powdery way. I really like it. It is better than I thought it would be too. The rose in this really stands out but in the thorny, edgy way and similar concoction of that in the supremely awesome Lady Vengeance.

This is Dita’s debut fragrance. Since it’s release she’s launched other fragrances that I haven’t tried it yet. For some reason or other, this one has fallen on the wayside and is being overlooked. It’s time for it to get some attention. This one is a tribute to classic vintage perfumes and floral chypres from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Even though Dita would like to believe it’s classier and more vintage smelling than any other celebrity scent, it’s not the only one. Madonna’s Truth or Dare smells like Fracas which is a beloved classic fragrance. Kim Kardashian’s first fragrance is also a classic white floral that smells a bit like Jungle Gardenia. Love the atomizer but I wish the color wasn’t black. It looks like it would sit on the dresser of a high class whore in a bordello lol But then again some women want to smell like that. This is not as sexy or sultry as one would think it ought to be. It’s really soft, subdued, and lady like. It starts off with aldehydes and bergamot. Dita said she didn’t want any fruit in her perfume but they had to include bergamot because its always paired with aldehydes and give a scent a freshness as you first spray it. The pepper note is really jumping out at me and it smells like it goes into the base notes right away. I could smell the incense but as many have pointed out it’s not strong. It’s detectable but soft incense. Sort of like watching that little smoke effect at a magic show when someone is disappearing or reappearing. In fact I felt like this fragrance was a show, a magic show or a kind of burlesque show which would make perfect since because Dita is a burlesque entertainer. This fragrance totally suits her image and I was surprised how they did that. Many celebrity perfumes never really evoke the personality of the celebrity. Dita said she’d never create a fragrance that she would never wear herself. She wears this stuff. It’s like a performing fragrance on your skin. The sandalwood is soft and this is bigger on patchouli. A touch of vetiver and something just a bit like leather is also there. The fragrance dries down to flowers and woods. It has a reverse effect because I’ve always experienced fragrances that start off fruity or floral and then become woodsy or musky. This one starts off dark, woodsy, smoky, musky and then it concludes with a sweeter floral scent. The flowers here are Tiare, jasmine and rose. These are strong flowers very fragrant, romantic, womanly. They all smell like white flowers to me so that rose is probably a white rose. The jasmine is the strongest accord. It’s not a jasmine bomb however and all the flowers are in harmony with each other. It smells just the tiniest bit exotic. I can smell this on classic Hollywood stars that always had a bolder sexy sort of image: Mae West, Lupe Velez, Carmen Miranda, Rita Hayworth. This is so Rita Hayworth in Gilda. I absolutely love this fragrance. As a showgirl myself (on cruise lines) this always puts me in that sexy provocative lets entertain them kind of mood. I feel just a bit like Dita Von Teese herself when I wear this. So many images come to mind: a magic show, a burlesque show in the late 50s early 60s in Las Vegas, a busty magician’s assistant in sequin skirt, a showgirl, a courtesan, a high class escort, or simply a sensual woman who is the mistress of a powerful man who lives in luxurious pent house he pays for. Highly recommended for adult women who want to feel sexy and seductive but who don’t want to smell like the typical celebrity frags out there.

    5 out of 5

Fabulous burlesque showgirl Dita Von Teese’s namesake fragrance is a blast from the past. Truthfully, when you analyze the formula, it’s modern and can’t possibly pass for a fragrance from the 30’s or 50’s even though people claim that this frag has a 50’s boudoir vibe. I love the bottle with the atomizer. Looks vintage. However the scent does not smell vintage or classic, although it does a hell of a job to recreate the atmosphere. When I smell this scent it’s like I’m backstage in the dressing room of a burlesque dancer, who has just taken off her costume with her little sequin thong and ostrich feathers. She is waiting for her lover who meets with her for sex in her dressing room. He is a very important and powerful man who wishes to remain anonymous and even wears sunglasses and disguises himself to meet her but if you were a fly on the wall of the dressing room you’d see that it’s President John F. Kennedy who would have totally been into Dita Von Teese had she been around in 1961. The fragrance beings with a zesty fresh citrus, a bergamot orange. It’s spicy with pepper and yet lightened up with a peony. It throws some contrasting scents. It’s sweet like a little peony flower but that spice tells you she’s naughty. Naughty AND nice. The jasmine flower and rose in the heart give it an air of class, sophistication, feminine beauty even romance, like this showgirl, with all her sexual talents, is a lady, a dame, a woman who could some day give up the glamorous lifestyle of lovers that lavish her with jewelry and perfume, and just marry one man to love the rest of her life. After all she can’t be a showgirl forever. Dancing legs eventually become legs that sit on a porch swing. The Tahitian tiare flower is a nice touch. It doesn’t get very exotic it’s more like a subdued gardenia white flower, almost bridal. It then turns into a dark scent of musk patchouli, guaiacum wood, sandalwood and incense. I can smell each one of those scent and they come in even before the dry down. So this fragrance has two lives. In the day it’s sweet and soft and floral at night she’s smoking cigars and having passionate wild sex. It’s got a really strong warm incense and patchouli. This is a bit unisex too at the end. It’s like it has something for everyone. I wish Lady Gaga’s Fame had smelled like this. This is a more elaborate and more sophisticated Fame by Lady Gaga. It’s a lot of things: floral, woodsy, patchouli and incense. There is even an Oriental vibe. This fragrance seems to have been very inspiring but modest. I can tell this fragrance produced other scents within the same fragrance family and vibe like Decadence by Marc Jacobs. Beautiful, strong, feminine, masculine, erotic, sexy, so sexy. Hot. Gorgeous. I wear this when I go out on dates. I never tell them what I’m wearing because I dont openly admit to wearing celebrity fragrances. But this one is a keeper.

I do like it although it is not my typical scent of choice. Took me a couple of days to get used to the sweetness and it helped it being in the winter. Floriental fragrance, warm-spicy and sweet, but not overpowering or sickly. On me, it works better with my body than on my clothes, as it actually develops a little soapy as I wear it, which I like. Starts off with the sweetness of white flowers and peony, slowly revealing sandalwood, patchouli and a very gentle musk. I get a bit of pepper after about an hour or so. I was looking forward to the incense but I don’t really get it, which is strange. The sweetness slowly subsides as it develops, whilst woods and sandal become more prominent. There is something a bit of ‘salty-toffee’ about it, especially at the beginning, with a bit of spice but gentle. Nice, non-offending, sensual scent which I can wear around the office as well as during a night out with friends. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Cruelty Free.

A creamy, dark, woody and rosy scent contained in a black ribbed glass bottle this is the old-fashioned, glamorous one of the DVT range. If you like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, you will like this.
Regarding the bottle: I love the design of the 30ml size, which is the same for all of Dita’s perfumes. It is so dinky and portable, and rests on its side like a beautiful vintage amulet.
I advise you not to judge any of Dita’s perfumes at first sniff.
Spray inside the perfume box, on your skin or a scarf and wait. One hour at the very least, or overnight if you can bear it.
Particularly in the case of Erotique and Rouge, the wait is worth it.
Then when you return = I told you! For me, even TWO MONTHS after spraying inside the perfume boxes, the scents are still – potently and patiently – resting inside.

I can only describe it as a French pastry: layers of this fragrance are detached from each other, thin and crumbly with some crazy note of very dark desire lingering deep in the crease. Leaves a strange feeling of dirt.

Certainly has the make up/lipstick vibe going on !
I picture going thru an old trunk in an attic and finding lots of beautiful vintage items, old fashion Valentine cards
    and gorgeous lace dresses.:)
I do not like Incense the majority of the time and luckily for me it does not come out .
Nor the the Pepper interestingly enough. I was expecting it to be very spicy maybe to much for me.
The strongest note is the Guaiac Wood .
This sits close to the skin with moderate longevity.
I imagine an old time glamour girl smelling like this and I think it will be nicer in cooler weather for sure .
Overall 8/10 great for a celebrity scent IMO !

Beautiful dramatic rose with bold juicy peony, surrounded by white florals and gentle woodiness, soft incense as a veil. I cant call it burlesque, as there is more drama then comedy over here, straight away song of Nick Cave with Kylie Minogue popped up in my head with this significant and bewitching entrance-lyrics…..
They call me The Wild Rose
But my name is Elisa Day
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name is Elisa Day…
don’t get me wrong – its perfectly wearable, but its a face of serious clever woman, rather than cutie-smiley and I like the fact that bottle is black – its black and white cinematography.

This one is the new classic in perfume world. For me it goes to the same range of all these new reformulated classical scents and trust me these are not better than DVT Perfume .
All ingredients seems to be synthetic, but who cares. The opening of white flowers with some picant note of fresh bloody red rose is so beautyfull. The musky cloud and clear silky smell of tiare blends with woody tones, then after everything is calming down to dilated unsweet but strong note on some incense-peppery base. All notes are blended very good and clever. It is pure pleasure to wear this new masterpeace of scent for me.
So,I do not searching for big old classical scents for high prices. This one is worth to be taken as some seriously modern juice for average price.
    Bravo,Dita…Always on my top 20…

This is probably a good one for people who like strong white florals. But, to people who often find white florals too sharp and overwhelming and order this one on ebay and receive a perfume drenched package due to leakage and try to clean atomizer in dishwasher, this one will forever be nauseating.

A peppery, soapy, musc that unfortunately gives me a headache. It is a really strong scent that doesn’t appologise for it self.
I have the small bottle and I must say that it is a horror to get open. Also, the glass bottle does look a bit plastic and cheap even though I know it is supposed to look soffisticated. Sorry.

For a scent that seems to be marketed as an homage to vintage, old-school European fragrances (Dita has eloquently explained this on her HSN visits), this is actually subtle and easy to wear with not much sillage. The notes are pleasant enough as nothing is supersweet in this blend. I pick up some white flowers, woods and a bit of spice. The smaller sized bottle & tassle are gorgeous. It lays flat on your dresser as opposed to standing up. Dita has followed through with this and her other scents which are quite nice too. It’s refreshing to have a celebrity really give direction and input into their fragrance line and buck the trends of sweet stuff on the market.

I was actually very impressed. Celeberty perfumes usually smell cheap and really, really sweet, and even though I didn’t expect a sweet perfume from Dita, I was very surprised when I got it.
The smell is very mature. It is sort of vintage but with a modern twist. It is that sort of perfume that when friends smell it from the bottle they tell me it’s for old ladies, but the same friends compliment me, and ask me what it is when it’s on the skin.
It is a scent that everyone think they hate but on the right person and skin it is very pleasant. It is defenitly not for everyone and I am quite young for wearing it, even though I think I work it 😉 It is very much a night perfume. Sometimes when I have pamper-time before going somewhere I put this on even while getting ready to put me in the mood.
The only thing I don’t like about it is the bottle. It looks cool and everything but for me it is really hard to get perfume out with that squishy thing. Sometimes all that comes out is air and I have to twist the top. It also leaks somehow… I wish this had a better bottle, then I’d love this to a thousand!!

This is lovely. Truly a floral, woody musk. Its soft, a little powdery. The opening is citrus and pepper but not sharp as quite quickly, the florals come into play. It dries down to a jasmine woody musk. I do not get very much of the incense on me and so no smokey quality. It does not project very much at all on my skin but it does last. It’s a light rather than heavy scent and could easily be worn in the day. I will buy it again.

There are some celebs who should leave perfume to the masters and concentrate on their careers instead, but Dita Von Teese is NOT one of those celebs. She has obviously put her thought and soul into what she wanted from this scent and has taken the time to create something that SHE wears and loves herself!
As a Brit, I have no idea who this woman is and frankly I don’t care, but I love this perfume!
It smells of class and sophistication, it is a smouldering and deeply seductive fragrance.
It drove me mad racking my brain to try to to remember what this smells like, and then it came to me! This perfume is along the same lines as Dior Addict.
Of course I say ‘along the same lines’ with a degree of caution as it’s not exactly the same, but if you compare the notes, they are similar in many ways.
This perfume is a sweet, sultry and woody floral. Although there is no vanilla in this as far as I am aware, there are shades of a vanilla note to my nose. Then the Jasmine which is very apparent and makes this perfume irresistible and sexy makes its presence known, along with a delicate rose note.
The whole tone of the fragrance flies under the radar for me in the sense that although this is sex on legs, it is never brash, loud or in your face! Dita is that intimate moment between two lovers, a secret never to be shared.
A highly recommended and beautiful fragrance for those sophisticated Perfumistas who like their perfume rich, deep, sultry and slightly balsamic, definately sweet, very long lasting and projecting enough silage for people to think, ‘WOW! beautiful smell’.

    This is gorgeous.
It’s very “Dita Von Teese”—it suits her glamorous aesthetic while not being out-of-fashion. It’s so floral, feminine and sexy in the 50s-pin-up way. There’s a note in it that smells like make up to me. (A homage to one of her favorites, JPG Classique, perhaps?) It reminds me of some other perfume (a designer one) but I can’t thi
