Description

The first version of Dior Homme Sport fragrance came out in 2008. The reformulation of Dior Homme Sport from 2012, made as a more elegant and powdery variation, is replaced by this new edition in February 2017. Dior Homme Sport “rediscovers itself” like a scent of “urban, sophisticated and sexy nonchalance,” guided by the idea of a fast and dynamic lifestyle.

Dior’s in-house perfumer Francois Demachy created all the previous versions of this fragrance. The new version is created with the addition of “extreme” fruits, “explosive” notes, spices, herbs and woods. Citrus accords of lemon, blood orange and grapefruit open the composition. The spicy heart includes notes of pink pepper and nutmeg, lying on the woody base of sandalwood and vetiver.

The bottle was also renovated with a softer color of liquid and a more “refined” packaging. The face of the advertising campaign is actor Robert Pattinson, and the motto is “Life is a Playground.”

The fragrance is available as a 50, 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette.

Consigliatissimo. Dopo 6 ore riesce ancora a riconoscersi perfettamente. Vale tutti i soldi spesi anche perchè un solo spruzzo basta. Contento 🙂

My signature fragrance for cold days. Do not be fooled by the word Sport on the bottle, this is not for use in the gym, this perfume has an elegant and sophisticated vibe, high quality with natural smelling notes. This fragrance opens with a fresh citrus scent but after a few minutes the sandalwood and pink pepper make their presence and those are the notes that last the most during the day. It is a buttery, fresh, peppery smell, you can use it on hot days but I recommend it more for use in the morning or on rainy days that do not exceed 20 C°. The presentation is perfect, the bottle is beautiful with thick glass and the best atomizer you can find.
    Presentation: 10/10

I tried it at the airport time ago and, for me, the 2017 flanker is very similar to the 2012 one which I own (and love!). I haven’t had the possibility to try both side by side though.

Sandalwood, sandalwood, sandalwood. There isn’t much to say. I like it. It’s sporty for a few minutes, but overall this is for sandalwood lovers. youtu.be/knQFK91-SRI

I’m sick to death of these Dior reviews saying this year is better than that year. Just tell me if it smells good and what notes are in it.

Worn for a few days. Not sure if it’s my nose or my skin, but the pink pepper really carries the dry down and tapers off to the sandalwood/vetiver. This is a great fresh scent with some character. Great daily driver for the summer.
    I like.

Tested – you can smell a nice orange/lemon citrus-like note surrounded by some minor notes that add a manly depth. This is a light and well-refined fragrance, that is highly appealing, but quite expensive. For me it is not worth the price, however the quality and lasting power are there – not to be underestimated. A great and highly practical fragrance in my opinion.

Citrus – tarnished spicy – woody
    Color impression: gray green
The strategy of reissuing a renown fragrance is a basic approach in perfumery which majorly has a mercenary excuse behind. The information about reformulation is confidential but it is awkward that Dior plays this game overt.
Good or bad, the result is devaluing what was loved. The core identity of Homme series – extravagant iris, which probably costed a fortune for Dior – is totally absence in the 2017 edition. I thumb it up cause iris has least possible compatibility with sports and casualty. And I thumb it down cause Dior erased Homme Sport’s identity within few years. DHS 2017 is a typical men sporty citrus fruity cologne with a touch of peppery nuances and woodsy base. Not an extraordinary delivery.

Really love this stuff guys. Very simple, clean, and natural. The blood orange is amazing, and gives it a little more unique vibe then most freshies. The pink pepper is so bright, and uplifting. Great longevity too. Might be my favorite summer fragrance.

    Update:
Performance is good on my skin, vetiver note is a little bold but blood orange note is natural but I personaly love intense blood orange note. It is not very citrusy because loud vetiver note. It’s not a unique scent but it’s good. My favorite in this line is cologne 2013.

I’m wearing Homme Sport as I write this and so far I’m not really liking this one guys. I can barely smell it after an hour (though it is 90° out) and what I do smell is not much more then the blood orange and grapefruit.
I’ll give this one a few more wears but it seems linear and doesn’t project much. So far, I’ll go with Dior Homme Eau anyday over this. I will update if I feel differently.
Edit: I’m still on the fence with this one but I’ll say it’s alright. I do get sandalwood and vetiver in the drydown. The sandalwood with the orange/citrus kind of gives it a BdC drydown vibe.
The performance is moderate with 2 hrs of pretty strong projection.

Certainly one of the best ! 🙂 Citruses blended with spices and sandalwood in the best way. Gives awesome freshness with adequate amount of sweetness. Also love the creamy vibe. I don’t know how iris smells in 2012 version but it’s hard to imagine a better sports and summer perfume than Allure Homme Sport and DHS 2017.;)

Big like for this one. Been going through a few different frags recently looking for my new signature and have finally found it. Opens bright then the woody/pink pepper kicks in and makes it a great ‘freshie’ for a signature scent. Very happy to have found this one.

One of the best summer fragrances period! it is very fresh, smelling good, versatile…you’ll get compliments wearing this one Creamy orange floral for daytime use for Spring and summer..I’m a sportman, the kind of guy who is either walking, jogging, going to the gym or coming back from the gym. If you want a “sport” scent, this is the only one you need. It’s so fresh, but masculine fresh, citrus, woods, peppery!!

Simple, smooth, more to the elegant side (or pretends to) than sport, but everybody already knows that. It’s ok.The fact is that I own Sport 2008 and I think is way better than this 2017 version, and also better than the 2012 version. Of course, who had trouble with the lemony aspect of the original one, may prefer the last two. The 2008 is a more vivid scent, more personality I think. My choice among those, by them, references on sport chic: Allure Homme Sport and Versace Homme. Like yesterday, today again I´m using both on each wrist (2008 and 2017 versions). Well, time has passed.

    ★★★★½
Let me start by saying that the definition of a sport fragrance for me has always been Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren.
Now I had a little sample vial of the 2008 version of Dior Homme Sport and I remember being in love, but that was a while ago.
The 2012 version left me indifferent because it didn’t feel invigorating which is essential for a sport fragrance in my opinion. It’s really funny to see people are disappointed with this 2017 version and are praising the 2012. A reviewer below even said that the iris note is the characteristic note of Dior Homme Sport. Well, the first edition didn’t have it, and it’s the holy grail for its ginger note. The 2017 version is closer to the 2008…
Now, for the 2017 version. This is closer to the 2008 in terms of character, but with less intensity overall and the absence of that wonderful ginger that made the original so invigorating. That same role here has been assigned to the pink pepper.
This version is wonderful. Bright citrus opening, sweet and tart, embraced by the spiciness of pink pepper, only to evolve into a lush airy Vétiver and creamy sandalwood. Dior Homme Sport is doing what is intended, which is invigorate you and embrace you in sports, but is only achieving to so much more. It’s refined, elegant and alluring, perfect scent for casual and formal daytime events. Versatile, easy and of quality.
Lasts all day on clothing (and probably on skin) and projects well for the first 2 hours. At last, a new release without a shameful performance.
I want to get my hands on the 2008 version again though, as that ginger note was hauntingly beautiful. Also I would like to compare it with this version but from what I recall they are very similar in spirit.
Overall, this is a beautiful and elegant summer and spring scent, and it can even work for an evening setting. I am seriously considering buying this and the very cool spray bottle (for the gym and beach) as I’m tired of tracking down Cosmair bottles for Polo sport.
PS: If anyone wants to provide a sample of the 2008 version I’ll be grateful.

    Fragrance -Dior Homme Sport 2017
    Bottle from – 2017
Dior Homme Sport 2017 is a fresh, citrusy, bright, sharp, clean and inspiring scent with dominant blood orange in the opening and with a nice touch of pink pepper in the middle and creamy sandalwood in the base.
This is a safe and contemporary choice for everyday wear, the performance is nice and ladies love this one.
    Longevity – 8/10(8+ hours)
Silage/Projection – 8/10(moderate to high projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours)
Weather -For more or less any time of year.Best in early autumn, spring and summer.I personally wouldn’t wear this on a really cold winter days.
    Versatility – 9/10
    Age – 18+
    Compliments – 9/10
    Scent – 8/10
Main notes according to me –
    blood orange,lemon,grapefruit,pink pepper,sandalwood.
The drydown is woody and creamy and I get some -woodiness,spices,sandalwood and vetiver.

I own the 2012 version and have a sample of this new one. I collect all the Dior Hommes, so i was expecting to buy this one, but after sampling it’s a big no from me. It is like the 2012, but it has less smoothness, more Invictus and Allure Homme Sport dna, more synthetics, way less longevity (to my nose). It still isn’t a sport fragrance imo, it’s more of a Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDT competitor. Except that Grey Vetiver EDT is far superior to this. This is lacking the beauty and depth of the 2012. If you absolutely need a Dior Homme to wear to the gym, just wear Dior Homme Cologne. Or wear Givenchy Casual Chic, which apparently smells a lot like the pre-2012 Dior Homme Sport. I feel like a lot of these positive reviews are coming from people who have either never smelled the 2012 or people who didn’t like the 2012 just because it wasn’t good for the gym. “Sport” doesn’t always mean “gym”… Sport 2012 is for sporty guys in the office, Sport 2017 is for no one

People should realise for a second that they always say something like “OMG, Why is this called aqua/sport/whatever, its clearly not! Boo! Very bad!” When they loved DHS 2012, which was in no way, shape or form a sport fragrance! This however is a sport fragrance, and not a disaster like The One Sport…
Smell: 9/10 The blood orange shouts for the first 5 minutes, its almost too much but then the lemon and other citruses push it over and show themselves for 30 minutes. After that a delightful peppery woody note that get a 10, but the blood orange really is too much. Citrus and Woody Peppery notes are my favourite notes on the planet so i couldn’t not like this.
Performance: 8/10 Better than my recently acquired Edition Blanche, when i first tested it i actually got bad performance but this time i got some comfortable longevity with appropriate projection, 8 hours longevity with 2 hours of great silage and projection, wonderful for a sport.
Versatility: 10/10 This is a beast! All seasons except winter outdoos, winter indoors sure! All occasions but not the best clubber, good for work and school, and absolutely amazing for Smart-Casual spring and fall occasions!
Compliments: 9/10 people like it, it is a crowdpleaser however it is not a beast like invictus aqua or dior sauvage, this gets the job done for sure but doesn’t get over the top compliments through the roof, fine if you ask me.
Presentation: 10/10 So classy! I love the bits of red on it, makes it look fantastic and matches with my Edition Blanche!
Overall: 8.5/10 A good fragrance, a man who likes fragrances should definitely buy this, but if you’re a fragrance snob stay clear lol.

Tested it on my wrists at the duty free shop in Heathrow airport. Personally I thought it wasn’t as bad as it is said – fresh orange opening, then it became slight powdery and woody scent later. The performance is average but I think that’s intentional as Sports EDT. Great for spring/summer or after taking a shower/bath.

Finally i have decided to give a detailed review (my personal opinion):
I have never been an iris fan as i never bought a full bottle of any Dior Homme iris based flankers. Past summer i was looking for something versatile for both casual outing and gym and i tested this against (one by one) 4 perfumes on my arms (versace pour homme, YSL Y, Lacoste blanc, montblanc Legend spirit). I found Dior Homme sport 2017 scent not only better (both indoor and outdoor) but also it stayed longer especially against versace pour homme.
It has that soft cooling grapefruit or blood orange smell. And if we talk about generic smell then yup it even smells similar to Palmolive Grapefruit dishwasher soap and even in reviews about that soap people think of it as for aromatherapy. Isn’t Mugler cologne smells like Irish Spring or some other fresh soaps but still it has 4.3 rating on this website? Similar is the case with most fresh colognes.
It will be one of my go to scent in upcoming summer. And i am going to wear it for office too. Sample it, try it and only then go for a full bottle if you think it is worth spending. And I am sorry to all iris lovers.

I love 2012 DHS. I don’t think I ever smelled the 2008 but this one ( 2017) is what I always imagined it smelled like. It’s a bit of bore to me ( the iris and ginger in the 2012 DHS gave it drama ). Just my opinion of off two wearings of 2017 after 4 years of 2012 wearings, for what that’s worth. @yarks….yeah, frag heads can be some of the touchiest, most overly-dramatic people on Earth. I wonder if our smell centers in our brain are too close to our emotional areas.

  23. :

I apologize, but I’m laughing a little bit reading comments on here. I remember when people were devastated when DHS 2012 replaced the older formulation, inciting outrage. People were annoyed with the iris of the 2012’s DNA, and it didn’t receive as positive of reviews. And now we’re replacing the troublesome 2012 with the 2017 offering and…more outrage. I personally do not like iris, so I love the new DHIS. A light, wonderful fragrance for the south.

  24. :

An example of how you can spoil a beautiful composition from 2012. As if to change the well-tailored suit to the sporting nice tracksuit. The lack of iris and ginger makes it a pleasant medium for the summer, banal and nothing more. I will reserve 2012, and with dubious reformulation 2017 will calm myself. Shame.

This is a very well done citrus. If you are looking for a very sporty, fresh, almost invigorating scent then check this out. I do get similarities to the previous CD sport flankers. Although it lacks iris note I still feel it belongs to the family. If this had iris then it would be very similar to previous compositions. I get a lot of bright authentic fresh citrus up top. Following the opening, spices and florals become apparent. Lastly, the base is a nice clean sandalwood/vetiver combo with plenty of nutmeg. I smelled this alongside Coach for men and I get some similarities even though I would not believe that to be true. For me, however, I would still take the Dior Homme Cologne version over this.

I saw it advertised in a magazine and rubbed it on my neck and thought it smelled SOO good, so I ordered a 5ml sample and just got it in the mail. I tried it on my elbow and it still smells very good to me, but is much warmer/sweeter than I remember. I like it but I’m more of a aquatic fresh kind of guy. I’m brand new to this cologne thing and I don’t know how to pickup these scents that are shown in the notes chart up above. The only ones that make sense to me are the aquatic notes only because it seems obvious to me

Uplifting scent, it is very fresh and smelling good, versatile, you’ll get compliments wearing this one, i didn’t try 2012 version but i got a sample from this one and it is really really good one, it is not a beast mode when it comes to silage but it is okay, some scents are meant to be like that because if it is too loud you might not like it.
Blood orange and Sandalwood are a perfect mix here, smells so citrusy, creamy.
UPDATE: Very nice scent yet after one hour you’ll not be able to follow its traces so for its price not worth it at all.

I’m a sporty guy, the kind of guy who is either walking, jogging, going to the gym, or coming back from the gym. My companion, all summer long, has been Dior Homme Sport 2017. If you want a ‘sport’ scent, this is the only one you need. Why is it so good? I haven’t got a clue, it just is. I guess it’s all in the wearing, living with it, wearing the scent, getting little love kiss reminders all day long. It’s so fresh, but masculine fresh, citrus, woods, peppery, not soft, it almost bites, it’s sharp, so good, and it lasts and lasts and lasts. I got a 50ml bottle for my birthday. Thanks Mum. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with it, but I did, and I ate it up, got addicted, worried because my bottle was getting low. No way could I exist without it. This is my workout partner. I have to have it in my life. Yesterday I purchased a new bottle. 125ml this time. Price? I don’t care. I’m looking at it now. Beautiful. The larger bottle screams class, slim, refined, so elegant. Don’t believe the negative comments here. Live with DHS 2017 as I did, and if you, like me, are a gym guy, this little gem will be your go-to gym buddy friend, forever.

I have both the 2012 and 2017 versions. On paper, I prefer 2012. The lemon is crisp and thr ginger/iris accord is heavenly. The 2017 version still has a distinct citrus opening, but it feels more bergamot/mandarin than lemon. The drydown is a woody nutmeg, no ginger to be found. The differences become more pronounced on my skin. The 2012 goes sour immediately. (I have the same problem with Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne.) The 2017 presents no such problem on my skin. Its wonderful from opening to drydown, and overall just works better for my chemistry.

Got this as a sample and i have been using it for a week now. All i can say is it’s not bad and it’s not good either. I don’t understand the voting for long lasting?? It does not last max 6 hours turns skin scent after 1 hour (and thats a very generous score, but really performance ain’t that good) I still have my bottle of the 2012 release, although performance is bad on that one it has character and brings something new on the table.
This 2017 release does not bring anything new, but a sense of generic feel and lack of character imo. 2008 version is still the best if you can find that one get it. Overall an okay release adds nothing new, it’s your typical summer frag like a ton of release out there.

You ever had your heart destroyed by someone you love. Then you feel like you have become empty inside. That is what happened to the Dior Homme Sport 2017. This fragrance has no heart, backbone, or soul.
This scent is the definition of a sport fragrance. It smells like fancy soap. The 2012 had more of a classy feel due to the ginger but that has been either toned down immensely or just flat out removed. The 2017 is more versatile and better for hot weather. This is a good gym scent that cannot be disliked by anyone but will be loved by no one. While I see this being good for the gym is it better than Nautica Voyage ($15) for that situation? Simply no!
This will last you anywhere between 5-7 hours. This is a sports fragrance with good longevity. Whoopee!!! The performance creates a small bubble around you. It isn’t an offensive fragrance so it can be a signature scent.
I’m going to keep this short. Buy the 2012 version or don’t buy this line at all. This fragrance is boring and expensive. I honestly feel bad for the people who blind bought this. It’s an okay sports fragrance. Nautica Voyage is a better fragrance and its $15. The 2012 version is a classy formal fragrance which actually smells great due to the ginger. Yes it smells more unisex and sweet but it was unique or at the very least stood out. Much better fragrances can be bought for $90 USD
Presentation – 8/10 Dior Homme line bottles look great
    Scent – 6/10 It’s clearly missing something
Longevity – 6/10 In gym great everything else meh
Versatility – 10/10 Wear everywhere super inoffensive
Performance – 7/10 Decent scent bubble perfect for work
Silage – 5/10 Your not turn any heads
Value – 3/10 Nautica Voyage for the 3rd time is $15

    Nah, nothing new here.
2012 version was better suited for me.

If you want something nearly as versatile as Sauvage but with a more natural smell, then this will work. Although geared towards warmer weather, it can be worn year-round inside. It will last through the day, but won’t be in the way if you want to wear something else in the evening. It’s good for most people in most situations and would make an excellent gift.
Even though this is slightly more refined than most designer scents (as most Diors are), it just doesn’t really stand out. It might perform a little better than certain Chanel fragrances that meet the same requirements, but there are better scents from Versace, Armani, Bvlgari, YSL, Prada, and others. This isn’t a bad release and won’t smell bad to almost anyone, but for most people there is a better signature/work scent out there.

  39. :

Well… I am not really sure what people are talking about when they say its all fruits/citrus and no ginger. My favorite is the 2008 so I was expecting this to be terrible, but to my surprise its pretty decent. Maybe not as good as the 2008 but its in the same ball park. This is fresh with fruits and citrus on the opening but a little more rich than a lemon type citrus scent. As it dries down I get that reminiscent dior sport DNA… that warm sweet ginger note. The ginger note in this isn’t as strong as the 2008, but I smell it. I don’t care what the note break down is, I go by my sense of smell.. that 2008 warm/sweet ginger overtone is certainly in this.. I am not sure about the performance yet, but it seems at least average, possibly better.
2008- More lemon zing and ginger- best performance
2012- less ginger, iris introduced- Performance sucked on me
2017- lemon zing reduced a little, blood orange note increased and ginger reduced from the 2008.. performance seems better than 2012 not sure tho

A red smelling sporty citrus scent heavy on the fruits. I’d say much richer than other fragrances in this category. It’s light none the less.
Been wearing it on my hairy arms for over 3 hrs. It is noticeably there when I put my nose to my arm. The paco rabanne prive on my other arm however is overpowering it so I am not getting the full scope of things.
I would assume it would fair pretty well on a cotton shirt during the summer. Too light to be covered up with a jacket or sweater. A light breeze I think would carry this at least and arm’s length which is sufficient for many people.
Not mature but older men wouldn’t be wrong in wearing it. Better suited for the 20 – 35 year old crowd…just my opinion.
Dior does mainstream “average joe” very well.
    Update :
Lasts 5/6 hrs on skin then totally disappears.

Hard work for a perfumer to connect the escence of the previous work to a new step in a new kind of smell but in the similar vibe. To me this is a great work, the luminous vibrant touch in citrus in the 2008 version is here, the powdery & dusty floral undertunes are here, the last base with the soft spiciness is kindless and manly like the others versions. We tend to compare things and more in art and perfumery, Dior always has karmas that make hard to write new history in their releases with all the massive ways to bring a new product to sale with great or low future.. yeah, this is controversial in some kind to think what is great or not with two previous big hits.. Dior like to make noise.

    —————————–
I love Dior Homme sport 2012 so much. When i was noticed that Dior released 2017 version of Homme sport, I immediately bought a decant for testing…
But it wasn’t satisfied me at all. Why? Say it right now!
In Dior 2012 a good balance is seen between citrus and spicy notes. You enjoy these two notes next to each other.
But in 2017 version, Dior changed the structure of 2012 version.
2017 is a fully citrus perfume. it is suitable for public wearing, not for those who want to have a specific perfume. You can find this kind of scent in very inexpensive and cheap perfumes. If an anonymous brand launched this kind of perfume, I didn’t surprised, but I was surprised when this famous brand launched it…
I think that Dior produced this perfume only for more and more profit and didn’t respect its costumers in this product.

I went to a story that has the two versions (2012 and 2017).
Sprayed both, one on each arm.
In the beggining I could say that a like more the 2017, the orange was very welcome and blended very well with the DHS dna.
But, after above an hour, the 2017 was very weak and just not fun. It was a nice smell, but I had to admite the this fragrance lose its personality. Where is the ginger?? And I noticed that what makes DHS this great fragrance is the ginger!
The 2012 I could feel the exotic iris (that I like) and a little bit ginger yet. In my opinion, the iris could be a little weaker and the ginger more strong, like in 2008 version. That one would be the best version.
Now I really don’t know what to do, I like more the ginger of 2008, a little bit of the iris of 2012, and the welcome orange in 2017.

I agree with the reviewer below me. This is so weak it should be an embarrassment to the Dior house. Their Dior Homme Intense is excellent. Dior Homme original even better. Dior Homme Parfum the absolute hands down best… most masculine and most awesome IMO. However, this Dior Homme Sport is like spraying a watered down version of some cheap $10 Adidas cologne. The scent is weak, boring and nothing more than another run-of-the-mill “sport” fragrance, Hence, my Adidas reference. Seriously, this has nothing in common with the Dior Homme line other than the bottle. From the review I’ve read here I guess the older formulations of this was way better. But I don’t know for sure because I have the newest version… and I rate it a 3/10… and that’s being generous!. Dior should be ashamed to release this $10 Adidas cologne in a Dior bottle.

Dior is slowly eroding their scents by watering them down. This is the worst version of Dior Homme Sport out of the three. It is non descript, and has literally nothing in common with the others. Why not just make a new scent with this generic pedestrian formula, instead of ruining the Dior Homme line.

OK, ‘been here and there with this fragrance, I really tried to test it thouroughly and with proper attention. Well, I had a hard time, I must admit.
This should be excluded from the Dior Homme line and name as a new, different fragrance. I don’t know – Dior Sport for Men maybe.
Although there is a tiny resemblance to Dior Homme Sport’08, they have absolutely nothing, I repeat NOTHING in common.
This scent starts off as a very repulsing smell – at least for me. It smells like a sour aroma mix with a chemical bug spray. That fortunately dries down quickly.
So, basically this is blod orange and woods. I don’t know whose idea was to put geranium or pear here – I can’t smell them. The notes breakdown listed here is ridicoulus. There might be some spices in the background but I don’t know what they are.
Longevity is 6-10 hours, sillage is small.
I prefer any previous Dior Homme Sport version than this.

Early afternoon in a conference room on the top floor of 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. A giant, amorphous black blob, Dior’s head of marketing, is doing focus testing. The new marketing intern, still in his human form, is sitting next to him with a pencil and clipboard. On the opposite side of the table sits a young guy who only goes by “Dude”, chosen from thousands of applicants to represent the average target customer. Right now, he’s sniffing a blotter labeled “DHS 2012”.
“Bruh, what’s that powdery shit in the background? It smells, like, totally like my sister’s makeup bag. It makes me feel insecure about my masculinity.”
Marketing Intern, tongue between his teeth, is scribbling eagerly.
“Can’t have that shit in my cologne, bruh. I need to smell manly when I go to the club to pick up chicks, or when I even li…” He gets distracted by a fly crawling from his flip-flops up his sweatpants.
Marketing Blob clears one of his throaty orifices to regain his attention. “How would you improve it?”
“It needs to be fresher… like Bleu de Chanel. If it’s not fresh, it’s an old-man scent.”
“So you’re insecure about your youth too?”
“Yeah, bruh. And I need constant validation, like compliments. Especially from chicks. And Fragranceyokel on Youtube said that BdC is 100% proven to be the best panty-dropper ever.”
Marketing Intern turns over another page on his clipboard.

Later that day, in the dark dungeon far below street level. An elderly, bespectacled man is huddled over blotters and vials, his left leg chained to the wall. The door opens, and Marketing Blob slithers in.
“François, I have the latest test results for the new Dior Homme Sport. We’re gonna take out the iris completely.”
The man adjusts his glasses, bemused. “But that’s what made the fragrance unique and interesting! If we remove the iris, it has literally nothing to do with Dior Homme anymore – it’s gonna be yet another generic sports fragrance!”
The blob gurgles menacingly. “Do you like having a job, François?”
The man named François sighs. “Fine. What do we do about the drydown? Without the iris, it’s just gonna smell like synthetic woody crap.”
“We tell people it’s sandalwood. They have no clue what actual sandalwood smells like anywa
