Has a strange chemical smell straight from the bottle. After it calms down, it’s a very light coconut. I don’t get any of the floral notes, but it does have the “fresh” thing going for it. It lasts only about an hour, then nothing. The bottle is awful and cheap. Usually, I’m crazy about coconut and beachy fragrances, but not this one.

This is a very gentle Gardenia. It is softer than Diamonds and Emeralds but has a similar creaminess. It is far quieter than Island Gardenia by Jovan which I find too heady. It isn’t La Panthere Legere but Denise Richards is a celebrity fume not Cartier. I find Denise Richards to be a great buy. It smells 3X better than it cost. It is middle of the road Gardenia meaning it won’t clobber you over the head but you get it’s a white floral. No tuberose is a plus for me. I like tuberose but it tends to be overused in fragrance. Think this is a great choice for something casual and wont freak out anyone near you even as they can smell it on you. Feeling is DR got it just right and I appreciate the only fruit is coconut and the only non-floral note is some musk. Not too many available on eBay so added bonus if you can get one is you won’t smell it everywhere.

I finally have a new signature. DR is my second signature fragrance of my life. I’ve found this gem this summer and immediately ordered a back up 3 hours after my first use.
This is an underrated beauty. Not only is the blue bottle beautiful, but it’s essense is abstract beauty.
My initial signature has been reformulated into more of a fruitier fruity floral over the years and this is straight floral to me. Yes,there is coconut but this is the type i had been searching for years for and had given up on the right coconut aspect prior to DR.
I find this to be similar in some ways to Kai & Beyond Paradise, which i have and love too. Kai is expensive for a tiny and boring looking roll on (the spray only lasts 45 minutes). This even lasts longer (5-6 hours) than the roll on and quite frankly i love DR better.
This REMINDS me of other white floral favorites of mine, only,in the way of being an ideal white floral to me which is the same as my ideal “tropical” frag. Not at all am i stating Denise Richards is LIKE any fragrances other than Kai.
I hope Denise Richards signature perfume does not get discontinued. Then i would have to wait out another signature of my own again with tears in my heart. This seems to have been available on line and not yet sold in stores. I can’t say this is a safe blind buy for just any white floral lover. I tend to love many fragrances with a small following. Not sure where a sample can be obtained but she is very affordable at the moment for those who adore white florals along the lines of Kai.
Just like the reviewer below,i will also wear this year around despite it seeming more suitable for summer. I’m in love.

Wow! This smells gorgeous! Unlike other reviewers, I don’t even get a harsh opening. I loved it right from the top! I mostly smell gardenia, alittle floral notes, and aquatic notes. I got a 50ML for $12 and this DEFF smells much more expensive. Silage was moderate, a couple feet…but man this really lasted on me! 6 or so hours with only 3 sprays! Try this everyone! It’s absolutely a beautiful fragrance for summer but I may wear it all year.

I really like white flowers in my perfumes, so when I learned this had gardenia, jasmine, and tiare flower (among others) in its composition, I got very curious about it, and with a pricetag of 15 US$ for a 50ml bottle, I decided to take my chances. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got it: The opening is a little harsh, but it quickly settles into a soft scent. Big white florals (Gardenia and Frangipani are the notes I get the most). I don’t get the coconut note (I wish I did!) but I still think it’s very tropical and “beachy”, perfect for summer nights. My only complain? Sillage is rather moderate and longevity could be better. I don’t get more than 4 hours before having to reapply. But then again, at 15 bucks, who cares? I can reapply all day long!!

I gave this a try. Smelled a little like hairspray at first, but then a nice, white floral drifted in, and I catch the hint of coconut. Strong at first, but not long lasting. I don’t get the tropical vibe others do, although it is on the fresh side. There is nothing bad about the fragrance, just kind of “meh”, not for me. Maybe I’ll change my opinion after a second spritz on another day.
Tangobutt mentioned it smells like Estee Lauder’s Beyond Paradise. The next time I’m at Macy’s I will give BP a test, if they have a tester available.

Musky musky very musky. An almost watery white floral which is dominated by mostly gardenia, but it is not over kill Gardenia. It is somewhat tropical scent.
Has only a trace of coconut to it that fades quick.
It is actually a fairly nice scent. I think it would be good in summer. Kind of has a beachy vibe.
Doesn’t last too long. 4 hrs or so.
qdb435speagoessenda – :
Definitely a spring/summer scent. Light but sillage is strong. Very floral. I don’t smell the coconut or vanilla at all. Its more of a watery tropical flower type of smell. Very nice. Nothing outstanding, but nice.

I absolutely LOVE this “DENISE RICHARDS” fragrance…its truly a surprising perfume, and its MY FAVORITE Summer fragrance!!! I have a more in-depth review of the fragrance on my YouTube channel where I review fragrances…PLEASE Check my reviews out YouTube/PerfumeDudeBB 🙂
naibrenial – :
I was really surprised by this one! Fresh white and purple florals are followed by coconut and a woodsy feel. The overall impression is of lilacs. A very simple composition. Excellent choice for a summer evening and a safe bet as a gift for a teen. The bottle has good weight and a nice cap, although the “DR” logo charm is a little awkward.
Raziel2010 – :
I absolutely love this perfume!!! Denise’s blend of her perfume reminds me of the beach. I usually wear Beyond Paradise and have for years…but when i put this on this weekend i received so many compliments of such a softer fragrance.
chmoky – :
I just received this last night,I love it.Very feminine and floral,I smell a lot of Jasmine.Jennifer Aniston’s fragrance reminds of a beach in Malibu or the Hamptons..Denise’s fragrance reminds me of a beach in the Bahamas,If that makes any sense.Another plus her scent was 20.00 for 1.7 oz.
Dim4ik93 – :
The first impression was alcohol and gardenia but after 15 minutes I am getting the jasmine and a little of the coconut water.
It reminds me of the classic summer scent Beyond Paradise by Estée Lauder. Other reviewers are right- it is a big white floral with no fruit. I would say age 35+.
I gladly support this gal- she got rid of Charlie (very smart!) and is trying to do something nice. Not sure copying BP should have been it, though.
SlicsBefsycle – :
This is indeed a big floral, all floral, sharp, screechy, and no development at all..Fremont didn’t do his best job on that one at all!
I get mostly a big gardenia note, and beware, if you overspray, it will be headache inducing..furthermore , it smells a tad synthetic…the vanilla, violet woods are detectable in that perfume…if only it became softer in the drydown, but no, the gardenia stays very sharp and alcoholic..I don’t even find it pleasant to smell..
Only for lovers of big white florals, as for me, it was cheap to buy, which explains why overall this isnt a quality perfume.

Denise Richards is a big tropical white floral in it’s opening. It reminds me of some of the perfumes you can purchase at gift stores in Hawaii. I don’t get much coconut water at all, but I do get lots of fragipani and gardenia and after a bit, the lily. The dry down is soft and nice with a little powder in there. On my skin, it is not real long lasting. The opening is big, and I sprayed cautiously, but ultimately I think I should spray heavily and wait 30 minutes before leaving the house.
I like this because it reminds me of the tropics in a very big way and I miss going there. So to me this is like a vacation in a bottle. It is reasonably priced and certainly worthy of a try if you like those tropical white florals!
assaupmus – :
the bottle REALLY looks like deseo by jennifer lopez. well, a less stylized version, with essentially the same color palette. and the D looks like an C. might be good though, i wish her luck
evsin – :
Sounds lovely – hope that it finds its way to Germany 🙂
kariesx – :
Wow, this sounds great! Can’t wait to try it- I love coconut!
SmOOvE178 – :
haven’t try it yet, but very much would like to give it a try, from the description i get a sense that the fragrance will be fresh, fun, and feminine. hopefully it’s worth it.
