Nice, classy, grown up fragrance. A soft fresh slightly green rose with a bare hint of musk and perhaps an even smaller hint of cashmeran. Oh, how I wish I could pick up the other notes here, as I feel that would make this stunning.
I agree that this could easily be a Chloe flanker…so, while this is a nice and classy smelling (perhaps more of a mature fragrance), to me this is not very original. I don’t get any sweetness at all from this. I get a relaxing vibe from this. A nice laid back Sunday morning/brunch type scent or a laid back Spring morning or Summer day, I think would be perfect for this (but of course, wear what you want, when you want). Soft to moderate sillage and soft to moderate longevity.

Lovely juicy citrus green rose. Very nice if you like rose. Not for me. This is very soapy.

Peony-rose with a hint of sour fruit, but only a hint. Lots of peony.
It smells like the 2000s to me. I don’t know if peony fruity-florals were popular then, but I have a very strong association just the same.
This fragrance also smells like a woman in her late teens or early 20’s. I know others can wear it, but that’s the demographic I’ve smelled this on before.

I agree with SailorV. I tried this in the winter and hated it. I thought I had made a very costly blind buy mistake but I decided to try it in the hot, humid summer heat and it is gorgeous. Silage and longevity are amazing. This is one that definitely blooms in the heat.

I purchased a decant of this after seeing many fragheads on YouTube rave about it. Did not like it on first spray. Tried it again and it grew on me. It reminded me of something I had smelled before. On my skin it smelled like Aquiesse French Oak Currant candle., which lists its notes as Deep Red Currant, Cassis, Citrus, & French Oak.

When I first tried Delina in winter I was so disappointed. All the great reviews for an average, sour, sharp fruity floral? Really?
Luckily, I decided to try it again in early spring and then on the recent summery hot days with 30+°C. This is really one of those perfumes that need warm skin to magically transform into something beautiful and won’t work in sub-zero temperatures at all.
Yes, in principle it smells like a typical 2000s pink fruity floral with its dominant lychee, rose and peony notes, but like a very, very well executed one. The rhubarb is a lovely addition, it’s tart but delicious and makes the florals shine. Beneath these fresh notes, the drydown is warm and creamy with vanilla and cashmere. It’s sweet, but never too sweet, a hint of acidic, almost green fruits stays there until the end.
So, Delina is really beautiful under the right conditions. I’m not sure if it’s 200€-beautiful for me personally, but everyone who likes fruity florals should try it. Just not in the cold wintertime!

I bought this perfume for my wife after she decided was her favorite of the women’s line. It is a very bright and juicy smell in the beginning with a warm, soft musk tone throughout. I think the dry down is better than the opening only because of the juicy smells kind of settles. That’s just personal preference. IT definitely lasts a very long time for my wife. I would recommend one spray before heading out. This is a very sensual, juicy and unique fragrance. I just purchased the Exclusif version and looking forward to posting that one here.
Overall comments. Fresh, crisp, juicy with a calm undertone.

I have a sample of this and….oh boy, I am in love. Sweet and mouthwatering. I can clearly detect rose, litchi, peony and vanilla. The scent is complex, multi-layered, seductive. I think red would be a better bottle color for it. Quentin Bisch is a genius, no doubt of that. I would buy it right away, but the price tag is not as pleasant as the fragrance 🙂 Either way, it s on my ‘want’ list.

For me it’s mostly about peony, rose and lychee. It’s a perfect combination of mature feminity of my favourite flowers and girly fruitiness, so it’s classy, but fresh and young at the same time. I feel like a fragile lady wearing it 🙂 It also lasts whole day on me. I’m not sure I can afford a full bottle, but it definitely goes to my wish list.

I received a sample vial of this in a recent online purchase and have high praises for this unique scent. The litchi is very prominent to my nose. Its quite nice, in fact the litchi compliments the peony well ! Its what I imagine the vintage styled perfumes would smell like, definitely not your grandmother’s perfume but a classic and elegant Lady’s instead. Lasts a good 4 hours on me. Just wish they were not not so pricey.

This smells exactly as the bottle would suggest. Victorian soaps in my grandmother’s bathroom. I love it. It would look great sitting next to valentina Poudre on my bathroom sink

Seriously seriously lovely. I was on the hunt for a gardenia fragrance and got totally sidetracked by this one! Gorgeous… it exudes femininity and the color pink without being cloying. I totally get those saying this being close to Mancera Roses & Vanille, but this is not quite as sweet in a dessert composition type of way. Delina edges out Roses & Vanille for me. The scent trail this leaves is sensual and intoxicating. Delicate but not innocent. Love.
    Edit:
Reminds me ALOT of Montale intense cafe given that I don’t really get the coffee note on my skin from intense cafe. Very very similar.

This is ode to femininity. When someone asks me what a truly feminine, graceful, yet sexy woman smells like – this is it!
Soft, classy, sweet and fresh at the same time. Confident and different. Lasts long and smells truly amazing. A total compliment-getter.

First Impressions: Not ready for a full review yet, but anyone else getting Wormwood/ Artemesia/ Davana and Angélique / Angelica here?
    The presentation is immaculate!

Wow! This scent is PERFECTION. I have Montale’s Rose Musk, which is very similar but Delina takes it to the next level. It is roses and musk mixed with a nice tart rhubarb and a sweet, feminine lychee note. It is a beautiful fragrance, I can’t fault it. I have a small sample of it but I could not bring myself to spend 200 euros on it, especially since I already have the Montale. Maybe one day!!

  18. :

very sweet and powdery. very musky, the rose is really not that noticeable. an overvanilla-ed take on montale roses musk. vanilla, musk, powder and just a little bit of rose and litchi. i expected it to be fresher, what with all the rhubarb and bergamot proudly touted as notes…
    sillage: moderate
longevity: poor on my skin but is probably a-ok since nothing lasts on me.
    lovely but… unremarkable.

Sensual enveloping and sugary. A lively rhubarb along with litchi and bergamot appear directly. The parfum develops gently remaining “soft” even in the following minutes. I really like the peony here, it’s comfortable and the rose gives a clean and charming accent. An intoxicating trail for a floral scent but not too sweet, very versatile. I like it

A fresh crisp rose in a beautiful bottle.
This is a high quality fragrance and the scent is very natural smelling – I imagine a well kept garden in bloom after a light rainy drizzle. So fresh and floral.

Parfums De Marly- Delina , has become my signature fragrance. Upon the first sample spritz the rose hit me and not a cheap grandmotherly rose but a very sophisticated and grownup rose mixed in with a citrusy fruity rhubarb mix as it settles and softens I can smell the vanilla but it’s not too sweet. This to me is a very sophisticated and feminine scent everyone can like but I don’t think it’s boring or common….it’s so very different than anything out there….You should give it a try especially before you buy. It does have a higher price point but I like that because not everyone will be drawn to it!

litchi, peony, Turkish roses, and vanilla.
This is a litchi sweet rosy fragrance, very delicate, and girly girl.

It’s very juicy and refreshing. I don’t like fruity florals in general but this one I would wear. It’s isn’t overly sweet like most fruity perfume I’ve smelled and there is no jarring synthetic note that made me think of air freshener with most fruity florals I’ve tried. Excellent sillage and longevity. I wouldn’t call it a sillage bomb but it leaves a beautiful trail.

Delina is more fruity than floral, and the tartness of its rhubarb is what stands out most to me in this composition. Lychee lends an aqueous, juicy sensation in the top notes that makes for an almost thirst-quenching initial spray. But the rhubarb far outlives the lychee–it stays with you as the fragrance settles into sweet florals, soft vanilla, and cozy musk.
I think the contrast between sweet and sour notes is what makes Delina interesting: it reminds me of an underripe strawberry in this way. Delina is a very likable perfume, particularly if you’re looking for something that stands out among countless fruity florals. I think it may be the most popular perfume from this house, but skip it if you’re not looking for popular, sweet, or safe.
EDIT: So good and posh for when you want something sweet and feminine without cloying sugar. Pink was the right color for this bottle. Not powdery at all, especially for a rose scent. It’s fresh and tart.

Delina’s first spray is like being punched in the nose by numerous rose bushes, a few melons and a little bergamot, its absolutely lovely but its not a ‘flowery’ fragrance, develops a bit further, but don’t change much.
I personally didn’t get the peony on the skin until well into 20 minutes (peony note, being my only reason to ever buy a FB of this one) so for me it stopped there for while. The vanilla is very faint, so don’t buy this for the vanilla either.
If you like the roses, Paul Smith Rose is a good one, but Delina at € 200, will allow your scent to last on skin 12 hours easily, so if you care for the luxe presentation and want lasting power of a fresh realistic rose, this one is a great choice.

Delina smells like Jo Malone Red Currant and Cream only with an artificial woody base that is none too attractive when sniffed close to the site of application… I can’t even account for it, since there’s nothing equivalent suggested in the list of notes. I really wish perfumers wouldn’t be so generous with these bitter and blunt artificial woody bases. They take a sledgehammer to what would otherwise be joyous and light-filled compositions. I understand that they serve a functional purpose in anchoring the perfume and assuring the longevity of the scent, but the anchor shouldn’t be so heavy that the whole perfume sinks to the bottom of the ocean. And yet many people seem to be anosmic to these woody bases, so maybe the problem is with my nose. Either way, I’m sticking with the Jo Malone version of this tart fruity pink dessert.

On a non perfume shopping trip to Selfridges, I was invited to test this scent. I am enjoying gourmand rose scents at the moment so initially disregarded it, although the first hit was lovely; I didn’t detect anything I was looking for (even though I wasn’t looking for perfume..!). I liked it well enough to toddle off with my tester strip in my purse, something I always do to see how a scent develops over time, and got on with my day.
As my day went on I tested numerous other scents and the strip got demoted to a bag of new clothes, and then forgotten…
The next day I raided my sweet smelling purchases for a work outfit and set out for the office… All day I caught wafts of candied rose sweetness… DELINA, that was it, I was hooked I NEEDED this scent in my collection!!!
I tried to ignore the call but days later I gave up and ordered a bottle. When it arrived I got it straight on my skin.
The fruity opening is rich with the lychee and rhubarb notes, I don’t get the lime so much other than that there is a fresh sharpness that fades quickly.
The drydown is full of vanilla warmth but with a powdery, leathery edge that I find works beautifully on my skin. The fruit has settled into a subtle rhubarb/lychee blend and the delicious flowers shine through.
12 hours on and the base vanilla is pretty much all that remains on the skin, but on fabric all the middle notes are going strong, the leather has taken on a sensual smokey tone that just makes you think “mmmmmm”.
Is it worth £175+? Questionable, there are cheaper scents that last longer on the skin. Do I regret buying it? Not in the slighest, this is a scent that celebrates sensuality; delicate yet insistent, innocent yet enticing. I am saving it for special occasions, but I suspect when it runs out, I will be buying more.

Parfums De Marley products are lovely in everyway.
They are pricey, very nice niche house.
Like the palace at Versailles, they have beautiful
    presentation and scent.
