Description

Calvin Klein presents the new fragrance Deep Euphoria as a variation on the theme of the original Euphoria launched in 2005, which, although a flanker, is allegedly bringing a completely new composition of clear chypre-floral character to the table. Unlike the rest of the collection, Deep Euphoria will stand as a separate pillar within the line, side by side with the original.

Imagining an elevated and sophisticated woman was the idea behind the original Euphoria. The Deep Euphoria woman is still elevated and sophisticated, but she’s also empowered and slightly younger. “Calvin Klein women are confident, provocative and released, and Deep Euphoria woman embodies all these aspects with an additional layer of adventure.”

The fresh start includes cascalone molecule, mandarin leaf and white pepper. Rose, the kind that is called “black magic” rose, rules the composition in combination with white peony and the chypre base of patchouli and musk. The composition is developed by Honorine Blanc and Ann Gottlieb of Fiermenich.

Actress Margot Robbie is the new face of the campaign. The photographs were taken by Craig McDean, with the video directed by Francis Lawrence. In addition, a digital campaign is planned. The creative directors of the campaign are Trey Laird of Laird + Partners.

Calvin Klein Deep Euphoria will be available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum with lotion, shower gel and rollerball. Deep Euphoria was launched in 2016.

I like the scent but the formula fades quickly. I get many compliments when I wear it. It’s feminine, warm and inviting!

When the top notes fade and they fade fast, then it smells like Coco Chanel Mademoiselle. The sillage is heavy first, but after a while it’s really soft. The longevity is also a little bad, moderate or less. I do love it, but it’s kind of sad that I bought an expensive perfume when the longevity is less than moderate.

Im in love with this! Didn’t care for the original until i tried this. Such a great evening scent,. very balsamic and rosy, i can smell amber in it though , but it’s not listed. This falls in the oriental Oud category mmmm.

I got this for half price at ulta. I liked original euphoria, but found it a bit overwhelming. This is a very floral/ spicy scent with a creamy rosy dry down. It’s beautiful! So glad I bought it! I love patchouli and I can smell that as well. One of my new favorites.

This is a quite intense, dark and sort of sweet-creamy patchouli & rose scent. More appropriate as an evening fragrance, but can also be worn during the day – maybe just not in the hottest weather. The rose, patchouli, woods and spice combine quite beautifully and create an elegant feel. And in my opinion the juice very much fits the bottle – a deep shade of magenta, sleek and sexy.

I’ve reviewed this before but since I worn it today, July 15, I wanted to let people know that when I said you can where this anytime, that it’s true. There is a freshness to this that comes out during summer months with lighter application, while there is also a sweeter side to this that comes out during the winter with more liberal application. Same can be said of wearing it during the day with light application and in the evening with a heavier application. Adjust the dosage for whatever occasion.
For me, this is one that Calvin Klein did right!
Edit: wore this again today spraying veeerrry lightly and I definitely got what others did. It was smelling like Coco Mademoiselle or really more closely to it, Miss Dior. Not overpowering but not one to be standing outside for very long when it’s 100° F. Very nice and got several compliments.

A review in the warm spring weather. Great scent. Can be worn anywhere, anytime and in any mood. It has a character – so you have to smell it to see if you like it before you commit. If you do, then you have a quite interesting quality scent to accompany you on a date or to a meeting at work or to a birthday party or on vacation… You’ll smell quite distinctly (sure, it’s a “Euphoria” after all!) but a great balance in the composition will make your perfume “decorate” you in a diverse way. Rose, water, patchouli, woods, citrus and peony play together as an interesting team where roles are well agreed upon: depth, airyness, woodsyness, sweetness and floralness. A great way to describe and to compliment your multidimensional personality.

I can understand the mixed reviews since the same scent can smell completely different on different people because when mixed with our oils and pheromones they produce a different smell altogether. So for me generally female scents end up smelling extra sweet on me therefore I was on a hunt for masculine layers in a female scent that way I wouldn’t smell too sweet, and this was the winner! I must have tried on over 30 bottles within a couple of days between Macy’s and other department stores. The “fresh spicy”, “woody”, and “musky” notes helped balance out the “rose” smell thereby not allowing the rose note to be overwhelming. Excellent scent, at least for me. 🙂
I was wearing male colognes for the longest time, and now I can finally return to a solid female scent. Yay!

The really weird thing is that I absolutely hate the original euphoria so I assumed I would hate this but it’s nothing like that. I’m al into aquatic type scents and this seems to be like that. I don’t know if I would buy it but I got it as a sample and am enjoying it so far

  10. :

    5 out of 5

This is NOTHING like Euphoria. It is not deep. It is NOT a rose, patch and wood fragrance. It is all about the aquatic notes. Maybe it’s supposed to be deep like the ocean. It’s aquatic, peony with a hint of the other notes.

  11. :

I was attracted to the bottle, but the scent was really terrible on my skin. It came across as cheap and generic, indistinguishable from many other perfumes today. I was unable to detect any rose or patchouli. Not sure what I was smelling, maybe pepper and cascalone, possibly violet. Something about it reminded me of Revlon’s Charlie, which I always detested.

  12. :

I’ve been searching for a dark rose fragrance for when I’m not in the mood for a light rose like Chloe, and this is the one!! Lush and deep like the name…the patchouli and ozone notes render a mysteriousness to the velvety rose. When I wear this I feel like I should be wearing all black. A vampire would be perfectly suited to this one 😉
I don’t find DE to be masculine in the slightest and would be put off if I smelled this on a man. It’s a womanly, voluptuous scent. Very grown up but not mature; a bright peony note keeps it youthful. I could see women 25+ wearing this one.

Ugh. Another beautiful fragrance that doesn’t smell like anything after its sprayed. I oughta just start avoiding weak perfumes like the plague. They just frustrate me and give me a rash on my neck

  14. :

I wasn’t expecting much out of this one, I don’t think it’s bad but it’s not as good as euphoria or eternity moment in my opinion. My skin doesn’t seem t like the more spicy perfumes because it brings out the his heavy pepper smell.
If you like the his hat kind of musky pepper with a little, and I mean very little floral undertones, then this will be good for you.
It goes from very peppery at first, to musky after it settles a bit.
Definitely won’t buy a big bottle (only had a mini tester) but all in all its not terrible just not for me.

  15. :

    5 out of 5

Ultimately, this disappointed me. The opening has some of the promised “deep” notes, but then it turns into an oddly fresh scent. It reminds me of another CK scent (not Euphoria). Drydown is a flat, ozone/musk which smells like a generic men’s cologne.
If they had left out the ozone note and added more woods and resins it would have been a winner. Much prefer the luscious original.

  16. :

Intense, rich, complex, floral and spicy fragrance.Like an “Absolu” version of forbidden euphoria.Would not wear it to a dinner or the theatre as it is very strong.Definately meant for special evening occasions.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

Actually, not bad deep roses, patchouli and woods fragrances. But I like original Euphoria because of the pomegranate.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

Deep Euphoria is a dark bittersweet floral. I like it much more than the original “Euphoria” because it smells less sharp/synthetic. Deep Euphoria has a slight apple-ness to it. It reminds me of DKNY “Be Delicious” blossom, but DKNY is much sharper. Many of the “Dark/Noir/Night” flanker fragrances give me headaches, but Deep Euphoria does not. It’s definitely in the same vein as my lost favorite “Magnifique” by Lancome.
    Update………..
After wearing this a while, I realized there was something else it reminded me of… NEW CAR SMELL. – Deep E has a very slight leathery/polymerishness to it. -It’s really nice and sexy, I’ve never picked up that vibe from another fragrance… definitely a winner.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

I thought this smelled like heavy violet. It’s not listed in the notes, but I swear it’s right there on the top with full force. Like the original Euphoria, this is very sophisticated and sultry. The spice, musk, and wood accord makes this seductive in the spirit of the femme fatale. It’s the perfect perfume for cougars and MILFs. 30+. I can’t resist it. Mature, dangerous, seductive.

  20. :

    4 out of 5

I really like the peppery top note but then it’s all rose and patchouli after that. I wish I could smell the other floral notes better. Not a like for me.

  21. :

    3 out of 5

Light-pink scent, pretty rose patchouli, fresh and sheer. Not deep and poorly performing. Smells like it belongs in Baby Phat Goddess pink bottle, not in this rich burgundy-purple colored gothic-looking bottle.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

Rose lovers may like this. Others who don’t like full on rose scents may like this too because it doesn’t smack you in the face with a bunch of screaming roses. It’s an earthy rose scent with mandarin orange and a tiny bit of white pepper that dries down to a deep rose scent with woody patchouli and musk. It does become rather musky after a while on me. I love musk scents but muskiness is not for everyone or their cup of tea. Not an overpowering scent at all and I think you can wear this any time of day in any season. Very versatile (at least on my skin). I love this!!
I’ve come to fall in love with this scent and find myself craving it. It’s deep, earthy from the patchouli, rosy, only slightly sweet from the mandarin leaf tempered down by the pepper. It’ has contradictions and several facets. It’s sensual, it’s happy, it’s deep and moody, it’s playful and sexy, it’s sweet and delectable, it’s spicy and exotic. For whatever mood you’re in and most definitely “euphoric”!

First, I tried the regular Euphoria, and then this one.
Smelled almost the same, but I did like the regular one better.
Then they both reminded me of another frag, so I went over to IT and sampled Gucci Guilty(which has some distinctive notes until the drydown).
    They all smelled very similar.
The first one to fade away was Gucci Guilty, followed by Deep Euphoria, then the regular Euphoria.
So,….I balled up the samples to see if I could smell anything and nada.
They are in my car, in a paper ball. Hopefully, I will smell something in 2 hours. I will keep you posted.
This common scent, (it may be patchouli)…..is what I like to call the Mall scent. Everyone is wearing it, or something very close to it like Flowerbomb.
    Update:
Opened the car and I got a weak, sweet, scent……the Mall scent., but the one that gave off the scent the strongest was the Euphoria.
    The End

    5 out of 5

    Nice warm complex floral.
Round, somewhat abstract, warm, comforting and not too sweet. Rose but not too rose-y. Actually something sour and green too, and something airy and almost bubbly.
It’s well done and nice. I want to retry it in cold weather and see how it performs.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

Every time I see Calvin Klein’s fragrances, I desire the luck to find one I deeply enjoy. They aren’t that expensive, are easy to find, and have the brand’s cachet to reassure your taste and sensibilities; Sleek, modern minimalism with a touch of elegance. And yet, almost every fragrance I try falls just short of being worthy of purchase. This one is different.
On me, Deep Euphoria is a spicy floral with a subtle warmth and some fresh elements. The pepper and musk are strong and overpower the patchouli (I understand this is not an experience that the majority of people have). The geranium and peony overtake the rose. The woods are just sort of there. Drydown is still musky, but still too sharp for me to 100% enjoy the experience.
While there is nothing otherworldly or revolutionary about Deep Euphoria, CK did something quite lovely. I reach for this one all the time. It is edgy, feminine, and modern. It could easily be an everyday staple. It is clean enough for an office environment but fun enough for a date. Deep Euphoria probably hits the sweet spot for many people’s requirements of a fragrance. And I intend to grab a full-size bottle. But, it is not so intriguing that you would be lost without it.

  26. :

Deep Euphoria is patchouli-pepper-rose-musk-woods, Great bottle — love the deep, rich, rosy red-violet color. I got samples, then a full bottle. I actually find this scent quite wearable with casual clothing all year around. Patch fragrances tend to do well on me. The musk-patchouli-pepper reminds me a lot of Chanel Chance edt, but I find the Deep Euphoria more wearable.

I was so excited about this one. The notes sound so enticing. And I think it would’ve been beautiful had I have been able to smell it past the first spray. It literally disappeared off my skin in an instant. There was no drydown whatsoever. Very disappointed. CK’s quality definitely isn’t what it used to be.

  28. :

I cannot explain how much I love this fragrance. The freshness, the creaminess, the cascalone, the MUSK. omg the musk. I honestly don’t detect patchouli but I know it’s in the background. This wavers between salty-creamy-musk-rose and barbershop aftershave masculine cloud. It reminds me of the after-effect of a hug from a beautifully groomed, gorgeous smelling man. I would love to smell this on a man’s neck. I wish the longevity and overall strength were better, I want an intense version of this fragrance. It does last well on clothes though, and is beautiful layered with a spritz of Body Shop Black Musk.

So glad I found a tester in Herberger’s before buying. I really wanted to love this. Rose? Patchouli? Yes, yes, yes.
Turned into a No, no, no.
Upon first spray (I sprayed two good spritzes on my wrist and one on my chest,) I smelled almost nothing. After a few minutes, the scent began to develop and I was bombarded with an overwhelming scent of black pepper.
After ten minutes of Hell, I began to notice a faint rose, along with patchouli. But by then, it was too late. I was already knocked over by black pepper that wouldn’t let up. Then, out of nowhere, it was all gone. After about an hour, I had to inhale deeply to be able to smell anything. Thinking it was just that my nose had adjusted, I asked my husband to give a sniff. He said I smelled like I had just gotten out of the shower and maybe had traces of soap still on me, but nothing that gave him the impression I was wearing perfume.

  31. :

This has a wonderful, spicy, fruity floral opening and dries down to a lovely warm fragrance. Can’t stop sniffing my wrist lol. The dry down smells similar to Arbre D’Or by Simply Argan, can’t find it in this database though. Deep Euphoria is perfect for Winter here in the UK, fantastic spicy kick to it, love it Xx
Update: I’ve just realised that the lovely spicy, juicy fruit fragrance in this reminds me of Chipie Quiddity Dark Fire. I loved Dark Fire and I knew this Deep Euphoria resembled something I’d had in the past, just took me a while to work it out. I’m in love with Deep Euphoria x

  32. :

    5 out of 5

Deep Euphoria is a fresh spicy rose scent that is quite different than other rose scents I own. This is a rose and patchouli combo where neither the rose nor the patchouli is overpowering even though they are the main notes. I was expecting this scent to be sweet but I don’t find it so. There is a fresh spicy overtone to this as well. Sits fairly close to the skin, which is fine by me because I think it would lose some mystery if it were to project too much. Longevity could be better – this lasted only about 3 hours on me before it completely disappeared. This is definitely one of my favourites from the Euphoria line.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

Love it. Floral fresh hint of spice. Wish it lasted longer

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I was never a fan of the Euphoria line but this one… UGH. It hit me like a bus. It is super sexy and elegant: something a fearless woman would wear. Perfect for a night out but it can also be worn by day. I purchased the set when it first came out so it had a special discount. It comes with 100ml edp, shower gel and body lotion for around 80usd and they gave me a free tote so it was quite a deal. The lasting power of the edp by itself is rather weak, so I would recommend to buy the set instead; it lasts the whole day. I absolutely positively love it.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Black Opium wannabe. lol Im a little disappointed with this one, it doesnt last long. Projection and sillage isn’t that good. I dont think its worth paying 80-90 bucks for it.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

I wouldn’t be worth my salt as they say if I didn’t try anything within the range (or beyond) of my favourite notes. This is a gorgeously great scent. Initially I got a wonderful feel of a garden, my beloved grans garden in the countryside, semi sweet spiced roses with a soft touch of fruit, musk and sultry woods. This is at the heart of the scent while the dry down is an ethereal left over of peony and patch. I wish it was stronger but, it is not unfortunately. Still, a lovely scent that manages to be both a crowd pleaser and utterly exciting.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I really like flankers bringing difference from original cologne. The smell is rich (patchouli), adventurous (rose) with a touch of darkness (wood gum). This perfume requires certain level of confidence to be worn as due to wood and musk tones it may really feel not that feminine, but distinctive rose note denies it as a unisex one.
    I think it’d be a good choice for a 40+ woman for evening/night’s events.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

I got a little sample of this recently and totally forgot about it til today and i’m a little shocked that i really like this. It starts off very fresh, slightly peppery and rosy with a touch of patchouli, but the patchouli here is light and clean. It is also not that sweet and as it dries down it reveals a very slight salty note with just a touch of rose and woody patchouli. It’s along the lines of Elizabeth & James Rose but it’s not as sharp, Deep Euphoria is a lot more subtle and airy. Give this a try if you like pretty, light & airy rose/patch fragrances. The lasting power and sillage are just moderate.
    6/10

Got a sampler pack last night with a coupon the redeem a full size of my choosing and this one is I it. So, I must admit,,,I have never liked any of the euphoria live, I find it far too heavy for me. And when I say heavy what I mean is that aquatics are the best suited for my skin chemistry. So I’m trying desperately to like this. I’m going to leave it and keep smelling it for the next little while and see if maybe just maybe I can actually appreciate it. I think its going to be a miss unfortunately:(

  40. :

This is coco mademoiselle mixed with a touch of original euphoria.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

I actually like this to have in a tiny bottle but …it really reminds me of the chanel coco mademoiselle lotion …but definitely the dry down is a soft down play version of coco mademoiselle. ..I prefer this on a chill casual day without that screeching coco mademoiselle deep undertone that can linger….this is more sensual n softened down ….quite nice the longer the sample has been on my skin.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

Really like this, it matches my skin chemistry very well. Very warm, but I do wish it smelled richer and deeper. It is lighter than I thought it was going to be, but lovely all the same. x

  43. :

    3 out of 5

My expectations were high…i thought its gonna be dark, creamy and spicy fragrance with a long lasting power…but its nothing special…not deep at all

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Now THIS is a fragrance that you must have the right body chemistry to successfully pull off! I am a patchouli-phobe straight out of the gate, but I will smell anything to give it a fair chance, so I spritzed some of this in the air at Ulta recently and I recoiled in horror, LOL! What on Earth was I thinking? Then, I got an Ulta magazine and what fragrance paper insert is inside but Euphoria and Deep Euphoria. I already know I don’t care for Euphoria, but I tried the DE again on my wrist from the little paper sample and…not so bad! I can definitely see where this comes across as ‘masculine’ because of the heavy patchouli, woods and peppery notes in it and I have a feeling that this would turn out beautifully on a man’s skin. Would really like to hear a guy’s opinion on this one because there is a markedly unisex vibe here.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I love the original Euphoria and couldn’t wait to try this! Sounds beautiful and gothic. Plus the ad campaign with Margot Robbie is just gorgeous. Although I’m yet to get through my entire 100ml bottle of Euphoria; I’m glad this one comes in a rollerball.
Edit: omg this is a “black magic rose” scented Heaven in a bottle! Spritzed some on at the pharmacy today and had to run away before I spent the $100 (overpriced) on that gorgeous dark red gothic looking bottle! I had no idea what notes I was smelling but the whole thing was just divine. I need this in my life. Upon smelling the paper strip I also spritzed with this and put in my wallet, I found this to be a heavy patch and rose fragrance. 2 notes that I love especially together. A touch masculine which is fine by my tastes. “Deep” Euphoria indeed.

I don´t know what happening nowadays with people!!
When a perfume it´s not overly sweet and sugary than it´s bad ???And when it´s sweet than it´s worse,or what?
When Gucci by Gucci has a masculine vibe this why not? What´s wrong with that?
I think people don´t know what they want, they just want to comment everything.
    This is a lovely creation from Calvin Klein,not sweet…Thanks God!Finally something dark,something with pepper,patchouli,rose.Something unique,sexy,deep,dark,gothic.
I think this will be perfect as a Halloween party scent.
It´s absolutely amazing!Very heavy on rose-patchouli combo but there is something smoky and woody in it.The pepper it´s perfect in this composition. Not the typical sugary sweet girly fragrance but mature, sophisticated, more feminine than the other´s.Why not?
I think that this fragrance just great! The deep dark purple bottle perfectly match with the juicy inside.
    Sultry,alluring,sexy,demonic,spicy,heavy!Thats it.Nothing more,nothing less.

I usually blind buy, but I was at Macy’s and had a chance to try this on my skin. Thank goodness I did, because on me….this is awful!
It was all alcohol upon first spray. I smelled nothing. After less than five minutes, it began to intensify and all I smelled was a blast of black pepper. About an hour later, I got a “crushed rose on the bottom of a dirty ashtray” smell. I kept sniffing my wrist, hoping for any kind of sweetness or patchouli. Nope, just a skanky, dirty smell and not in a good way. Three hours past application and it was totally gone.
This is not a scent I would want to smell like. Nothing deep, nothing sexy, just something that would make me feel I was due for a shower.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

There is something about this that is too watery for me. I find it to be too aquatic and not enough deep. Kind of gross after fifteen minutes on my skin.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

Surprise surprise! It’s very similar to the discontinued YSL Elle, only lighter. Just wait until the top notes fade (which, I agree, smell kind of mademoiselle-ish/so elixir-ish and what not). Unlike other reviewers, I find it pretty deep. It’s sweet fruity but not girly sweet, very woody and heavy on patchouli! Woohoo! A good alternative to YSL Elle. I would buy it right away if I hadn’t stocked up on Elle.
P.S. It has nothing to do with the original Euphoria.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

At first spray there’s a hint of original Euphoria
but then it turns into Coco Mademoiselle.
Well I guess if you want to buy Mademoiselle
in a good price you should go for Deep Euphoria 🙂

  51. :

    5 out of 5

I like this one a lot – a patchouli rose with a tiny bit of spice and sweetness. I had gotten a sample at the fragrance counter and nearly passed it on to someone else, since I don’t usually go for CK scents. What a surprise! This one’s a keeper for me, though I guess it is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s dark but still energizing and flirty. I could see myself wearing it during the day even.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

This is one of the fruitiest perfumes I’ve ever smelt. It’s a combination of plum and raspberry jam. From the name, and because CK has linked it to the original Euphoria, I expected it to be rich, sultry and warm. But really, if this had come in a bottle saying “Taylor Swift Fruit Bomb”, I would not have been surprised. Very mediocre.

  53. :

    5 out of 5

Nothing Deep, noting Euphoria in this one. Too similar to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

Nice, but at the end too similar to Coco Mademoiselle without patchouli. Nothing common with regular Euphoria, and, strangely, Deep euphoria smells lighter than the original one.

  55. :

    5 out of 5

Nothing euphoric. No depth. Just ordinary floral with a musky and woody base. I expected something very different. First velvety notes were quite promising, but then they vanished and the scent transformed into thick patchouli smell.
I like it, but I don’t find it extraordinary.

  56. :

    5 out of 5

This is a nice scent. I get patchouli musk sandalwood and cranberry. Only thing is it’s unbelievable weak. Cannot smell it at all on my skin and neither can anyone else.
    Scent-5/10
    Projection-2/10
    Lasting power-3/10
    Packaging-6/10

  57. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t think this is true to the name at all. I love the original Euphoria, but this one seemed to disappear off my skin almost immediately. What was there before it vanished did not seem deep or euphoric to me.

  58. :

    3 out of 5

Honestly I smell none of the notes listed. It’s pure pomegranate on me. Not worth the buzz tbh

  59. :

    4 out of 5

I still prefer the original Euphoria and I also really like Euphoria Blossom but this takes some getting used to. It smelled like a guy’s cologne or unisex fragrance at first. I have been experimenting with these type of fragrances and I pick and choose which ones are for me. This is not sexy nor innovative. It smells like a variation on Marc Jacobs Decadence, and even that perfume is better. This is not bad but it’s also not that impressive as the Oriental it’s meant to be. I smelled a light mandarin and aquatic note, fresh and a bit sweet. Then it turns into a floral aroma out of which I could make out a rose (don’t know why they call it black rose, no such thing in my opinion) jasmine, geranium and little peony. The flowers are pretty nice and it’s far more floral than the first Euphoria. The dry down contains the base notes of woods and patchouli, a bit of musk. It’s big on patchouli leaves so it smells herbal, and well you know how patchouli can also smell like incense. The woods and patchouli, though, are making this a bit on the unisex side, not to mention a musk that lingers at the end. It’s a fragrance with a degree of confidence. Doesn’t smell that bad-ass but can be worn to go out clubbing and dancing and mixing and mingling. Sometimes it can be sexy. Not bad.

Euphoria itself is a treacly fruity floral with a hint of spice. This is a weird chypreed up version. There’s something a bit plasticky at first but it mercifully goes away. I don’t know why they called it Deep Euphoria because it is not deeper than the original just changed. If anything it’s lighter. They could’ve called it Euphoria en L’air or Euphoria Breeze or Diet Euphoria, Euphoria Zero maybe. Euphoria Light or Shine perhaps? In itself it sort of deepens as it dries into more patchouli but in general it’s a bit.. meh. If you hadn’t read or sniffed anything and thought this would be even richer than the original you’d be disappointed

The number one dissapointment of the year. Not bad, but so lame, generic, not outstanding and soft…but a t least is longlasting.
Clean rose, old rose, deep rose without any twist.
An Euphoria should be more emblematic…..

This one is not a knockout for me.
When you first put this on it smells way more fruity than floral actually. Like dark berries or forest fruits. If I had to liken it to any it would be dark raspberry or tart cranberry.
The pepper is very slight in the opening and it reminds me along the same lines as Victoria’s secret Very Sexy in the dark red bottle.
Nothing too crazy going on. I see that there is cascalone in here which would have been cool if you could notice it.
It very much smells like the colour it’s packaged in which is quite fun. An abundance of floral though? Not really on my skin. I can’t seem to get away from all of this almost syrupy red fruit.
It really smells nothing like the original Euphoria, the only slight similarity is the crisp wood that cuts through the blend.
It’s fragrances like this that make me think I may be anosmic to some roses! I thought the rose would JUMP out but..not on my skin! If there is rose in here? It’s not a powdery sweet rose, it’s a dark crisp rose. For me though..it’s getting swallowed up by other things. If anything? I can smell Peony more than rose.
The dry down…slightly sweeter, and very characterless. 🙁
I’ll stick to the original thanks!
    🙂

Original Euphoria + Alien = Deep Euphoria.
I like it. It’s a grower. I bought it today and think the more I wear it the more I’ll fall for it. It has an airy quality. It reminds me of a holiday I had in Turkey years ago. Warm and breezy, spicy and airy.
I can see this being a “must have” for Autumn.

I think this is my fave Euphoria flanker so far!
I think the name “Deep Euphoria” and the dark purple bottle suit it completely. I also think it’s very unisex, IMO. At first spray, it’s fresh and I can smell the peony, but it doesn’t last long at all. Then the heavier notes take over. To me, it’s a patch bomb and yes, it’s masculine. If you don’t like either of those qualities, then you may not like this new release.
As it settles, I get a musky rose combo, but the patchouli is still dominating. I do get slight nuances of the original in the dry down. You can tell it’s a Euphoria flanker, but much more woodsy and deeper. The dark purple bottle is gorgeous too! This is going to be a new fall/winter fave of mine for sure. I’ll have to edit at a later time for sillage and longevity, but it seems to be pretty strong.

This smells like a reworked version on Escape mixed with Coco Mademoiselle. Its aquatic off top and smells exactly like 1991 Escape before reformulation. Then it becomes a deep masculine patchouli bomb! Smells very good and yes it would smell awesome on a guy. Hehe me. Bought. Huge bottle. Definitely not a super feminine scent at all. Totally unisex. I’m glad Calvin and Coty are being daring. This will be a hit

Just got a sample, I can see why it is called Deep, it is after all a woodsy patchouli combo, it isnt light ,but I dont think it is bad at all! I do agree it has a masculine vibe though, the opening is fresh but right away the heavier notes take over.. it is mostly dominated by the patchouli..it isnt extremely different from the original, but not one I need to have..there are worse scents out there may I add!!
It reminds me of Euphoria EDT.

This one smells like men’s cologne to me. Musky, spicy, woody and full of patchouli.
It’s not a bad fragrance, but I would never wear such a masculine scent.
It should be at least marketed as unisex scent.

This deep, sultry and slightly mysterious to me. No matter what I just can’t put my finger on what makes me lust after this scent. This is definitely on my “to buy” list.

What the marketing is saying is that this Euphoria flanker, “Deep Euphoria” (ugh, that NAME), is considered to be a flanker of Euphoria, but not really. It is nothing like Euphoria in scent, and, though the bottle and name are the same, is a completely separate fragrance meant to stand “side by side” with the original (“plz buy all of our Euphoriaz, ppl!”). It’s different (but not), BUT IT IS, guys!
    WHUT?
There is nothing “deep” about this scent, and nothing original Euphoria-like. It’s a pepper-patchouli paired with rose and sweet peony, sweeping clean musks and fresh greenery, and tempered with some nondescript (and very on trend) woods. It’s incredibly pleasant, but boring as hell. It’s another rose/patchouli from a large distributor that will probably be adored and purchased because it’s just a liiiiiitle bit different from other rose-patchouli fragrances that their target consumers already own. Success!
Deep Euphoria reminded me of (a ton of other fragrances) Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Eleganza, in particular, except Eleganza has a leather note that makes it interesting, but still office appropriate. I think I’ll have my husband try Deep Euphoria – this could be nice on a man.
