I agree with other reviewers, it’s different from the original Decadence. It’s a fresh floral scent, green, creamy, fruity but not too sweet. It has something for everything in balance. I call it a fresh after a long pampering bath kind of smell. A very easy wear for lazy Sunday or just a walk in a park. It is market for a different type of women – a very professional, serious, know-what-she-wants kind of women who want to take a break from her busy life. Moderate longevity, close to skin silage. I would suggest this for day wear during Spring and Summer.

It´s completely different from decadence and divine and you cant compare them because the purpose are different, here the idea is a delicious summer/spring scent for the day time or very not nights. I think it smells a bit similar to Lancome Miracle Blossom even though i dont find any common notes. It´s yuuuuuumiiiiii

Very fresh and sweet. Personally the dry down reminds me of the men’s Invictus.

Absolutely perfect for me. It smells like ripe fizzy pears, clean but not in the annoying ‘fresh’ type. More of a sweet freshness, like eating said pears in the shadow of an old walnut tree on a hot summer day. On my skin it doesn’t stay for long, 2 hours max. No surprise here as nothing does except for the original Decadence which I passionately dislike. The good thing is that it rubs on clothes (scarves, collars, pillow) and those top notes linger oh so pleasantly for the whole day. It could work for night too but I have others more appropriate. My kids love the bottle and even make drawings of it, not to mention asking me to spritz on them too. A pity it’s not rechargeable like Mugler’s gorgeous Aura.
The only inconvenient is the price, which even discounted is exaggerated, but even so I’m going to order another bottle to have at work and gym bag.

I absolutely adore this beauty!! It is so fresh, sexy and feminine. This is the original’s little, sweet & feisty cousin lol there’s a inocent spice to it (if that makes any sense). I find it sweet but in a tarty way and fresh in a cinnamon” minty way. It’s kind of hard to describe the scent, I find it quite delicious and intoxicating in the best of ways. To paint a better picture; this is a fragrance that I’d totally eat if it was a dessert!
I wanted to love the original but found it a bit too much” this is like a better, fresher version of it❤
Staying power on my skin is 3-4 hours
On my clothes it lingers till the next day!! (Faint but you can still smell it)
I give this beauty 5 stars!! I wish it would be a bit louder” but I love It!!

I own both the original MJ Decadence and this flanker. If you like Decadence, you will like Eau So Decadent as well! Decadence is definitely a cold weather frangrance, definitely evening only. It’s dark and sexy. Eau So Decadent is the spring/summer option in the line and I LIVE that I own both now! I can literally wear something from the Decadence line all year round. Grab a sample and try it for a couple days during warm weather and see what you think! It’s doesn’t last long, usually I can’t make it past lunch/early afternoon, so you may have to re-spray.

I’ve not brought one of Marc Jacbob perfumes before.
This one is a pretty smell nothing amazing and seems to carry no strength too it.
The whole packaging and grandness in image and perfume packaging the perfume does not live up to the hype.
I really liked to packaging makes ou feel that you’re purchasing something expensive and exclusive.
the perfume is fresh pear comes through strong and the cashmere smells subtle.
But does not last and does not carry any form of potency long after the spray and does not develop enough to feel that you’re spraying a expensive perfume (as it is expensive)
The name (decadence) and the whole packaging does not live up too the name!
Do not blind buy!, you’ll just be left feeling a little upset at the let down of how it does not carry anything special.

This smells like green tea to my nose. Like the L’occitane Brigarade and thé vert.Kinda similar to Elizabeth Arden Green tea but greener and more realistic

If Decadence is too “mature” for you, this is a good alternative. It’s beautiful. Smells similar to Aqua di gioia, but less bright. I know it says fruity floral, but it’s so unique. Unlike most other perfumes on the shelves at ULTA. Beautiful and interesting.

I haven’t tried any of the other fragrances from the Decadence line, so I can’t compare, but I really like this one. Sweet pear, fresh lily-of-the-valley and lush magnolia make a lovely combination. This is a perfect day time scent. Fun and feminine!

Sweet, pleasant, feminine, deff get an up front pear note dancing around white florals. Cleaner then it’s sister predecessor better suited for spring/ summer even into early fall. Also get a very reminiscent smell of Acqua di Gio womens only slightly more fruitier, overall not a bad scent. Deff worth a look into if you absolutely love the decadence bottle, but find the original to be too much for ya.

Green, fruity florals with a woody undertone. This scent has layers. It’s light on top and slightly balsamic or smoky in the very bottom. I like this perfume during spring or fall!

Mmmm so fresh. Thats prolly how an ancient Naiad would smell. This is like the Acqua Di Gioia of a mountain spring or a forest stream. Not aquatic but still refreshing, light, earthy & green. I love the entire Decadence line, despite the hate, the original is still bold, unusual and sexy to me. Noooo pickle juice on me, thank God. They all work well with my chemistry. This is more along the lines of Jimmy Choo Exotic, they share a few notes, but this lacks patchouli, which makes it more approachable, carefree and fun. I still get that minty vibe from this one – all the Decadence perfumes share that familiar scent of minty candy, the old fashioned green candy I didnt like to taste when little lol. But this is more mellow, very uplifting, makes me wanna walk in a forest then dive in a pool. Im also a sucker for lily of the valley – the white flowers here keep it cheerful and feminine. I love unusual scents and this stands out. Ive tested it 4 times on my skin and the wind kept reminding me that I love it lol. Only downside it doesnt last as long. Bottle and design, simply gorgeous.

Fresh, nice raspberry & lily-of-the-valley scent with amber and cashmere drydown. The best of Decadence line so far. Alluring and truly interesting.

I’m pretty sure that Primark have recently brought out a dupe of this. It’s called PS Love… Emerald.
The box has a dark green snakeskin pattern printed on it and the perfume itself is coloured pale green. It smells fruity, sweet, floral and is not too heavy. I get hints of violets and peaches intermingling with the overall scent. It’s a good perfume for work or, if more heavily layered, for evening.
As I’ve not smelt the original Marc Jacobs Eau so Decadent I can’t say for sure that Emerald is a dupe. However, judging by the packaging, pale green perfume and description of the smell, I can’t imagine what else it could be. I love it, and for £3.50 for a 50ml eau de toilette it’s got to be worth a sniff!

I have no idea what the original one smells like. This one is kind of summery, citrusy, but deep in some way. I agree it feels like a mint lemonade or something. Probably the ivy note makes it more sharp, but there is some sort of sweetness.

love this better than original …grabbed a 100 ml for 65.00 ..steal! This is def much better and femme and pretty. The original was horrible and smelled like a kitchen cleaner or mens aftershave on a bad holiday.

I get fruity freshness from this. Almost feels like a cold lemonade with fresh mint leaves. Might be suitable for summer.

This is the best Decadence so far, a light and fresh scent. I sense green notes, pear, jasmine and magnolia.
So many new releases and flankers, but there’s something for everyone.
My favorite from Marc Jacobs so far.

Its amazing, not too flowery or fruity, I just can get enought my new fav perfume, so alluring not to fresh and really feminine, long lasting!!!

Tried it today, and i really like it ! It is a fresh floral, nothing to do with the first Decadence, which was a mess in my opinion…the pear gives it the juicy freshness, without being a fruity scent, I don’t get any blackcurrant nor raspberry..then the amber gives it a warm vibe, and the lily of the valley makes its entrance…while I agree it has a slight sharpness due to the lily of the valley, it isnt too much of anything in my opinion…I wouldn’t call it oriental floral though?.more a fresh warm floral..it smells real pretty, my husband thought so too…will probably get a 30 ml soon!!

I agree with the review below that says this could be headache inducing but I enjoy the scent. To me it smells like a walk in the park. Why this wasn’t released in spring I have no idea.

As a fan of the original EDP, I can definitely tell this is a sister fragrance… If the EDP is the sister that is intoxicatingly sexy and mysterious, Eau So Decadent is the sister that’s exhaustingly bubbly and talks too much.
Conceptually, this fragrance is just overstuffed. It’s like someone took the warmth and innocence of Elizabeth Arden’s Sunflowers and dumped a bucket of over-ripe pear and white florals on it. It seems like they were going for something warm and uplifting, but the execution was too heavy handed.
It’s a very strong scent that gave me a headache within minutes. I would not want to be trapped in an elevator with it. I wanted to like it, and I tried to stick it out, but an hour in and I’ve doused my wrists in alcohol twice to remove it. It’s still there.

I just got this. I simply love it. I love Decadence and I always wanted to wear it in the day time- much to other people’s chagrin. This is a lighter fresher version that you can wear to work. The Bulgarian rose plum and jasmine are still there – just lighter and more fresh. You will not be disappointed if you try this.
