For a house that does such quirky scents I am SMH at this typical release. It’s an old school barbershop smell that does not offer anything new to the genre. Most guys nowadays that love this smell will go for Prada Amber which is stellar and more affordable.

This seems to sit somewhere between a cologne and a light chypre.
Goes on with typical cologne notes of lemon and lavender giving a fresh feel, there is also a hint of clean jasmine and neroli at this stage.
After a few minutes the sharper cologne like opening relaxes a little as heart notes of neroli, a very light clean jasmine, sandalwood and light musk step forward. As these slowly come to the fore the lemon and lavender quietly take a step back. After about half an hour the sandalwood intensifies with the jasmine and possibly a hint of oakmoss.
The surprising thing for me is that amber is not listed as a note, as I got a very strong ambery note, in fact in the dry down I would say the dominant notes were amber and jasmine with a hint of sandalwood backing. I guess it must be the neroli/jasmine/sandalwood/rose/oakmoss mix but anyway, on me it smells like amber at this stage.
This is a pleasant likeable scent but so far it hasn’t moved me. It is nice, I would happily wear if given a bottle but it isn’t going on the buy list. I had hoped for a bit more Ooomph. That said I tested it on a hot stuffy day which may have impacted so I am going to retest in cooler weather.
Projection minimal, this wore close to the skin, longevity about 4 hours in warm humid conditions.

This review is based on sample set I got from Smell Bent. It’s basically powdery neroli with a touch of sharp lemon. A nice refreshing scent for hot weather but performance isn’t so good. I get below average projection and longevity on my skin.

This one I wish had more citrus. I was expecting something more fresh and light not this strong. Sillage is good and longevity is better.
