In response to Willdeal87, I have to say that the YouTube hype brigade and the eBay greed brigade (are they the same people?) ruin everything by ramping up demand, then prices accordingly. I used to review loads more stuff on here than I do now, but apart from the fact that Fragrantica don’t list many of the fragrances that I own, I would rather keep my mouth shut until I have enough of a stock to withstand scarcity!
There are a few reviewers on YouTube who, rather than doing proficient reviews and leaving it at that, aggressively peddle themselves with gaudy thumbnails, and try to be novel by reviewing vintage perfumes, and generally stuff that most of us can’t afford.
If and when they do stoop into the bargain basement, they patronise us all with the “this is niche quality” mantra- the point at which the more gullible of us will run to eBay etc and purchase like a bunch of locusts, creating scarcity on top of demand. Then high prices!
I know the frustration of this through the hyping of Midnight in Paris. Once £20 or so. I tried to resell it on eBay at a fair price! And couldn’t sell it, or my EDP version.
I decided that I really love it anyway and decided to keep it, eventually looked to buy some more….What!!?…..it has gone up in price exponentially, as greedy speculators have moved in to ramp up the price.
Anyway. I hope that people starve these egotistical reviewers of the attention that they crave, and stop grovelling to them (you guys know who I’m talking about)
At this moment, Ifishares is the only reviewer that regularly watch now.

I’ve been wearing this for about a week now and I’m here to say that it definitely smells like AHSE but with everything being turned down a notch or two. I don’t get this great performance that so many speak of. Im getting 4hr of longevity and about an hour of projection then its a skin scent. smell 8/10 performance 3/10.(good thing you can’t find it anywhere) (((UPDATE))) I Now have both AHSE And Armaf and have tested both side by side for two days. these two are 97% the same. Armaf is a little more powdery and also seems to be slightly better in quality but doesn’t last as long on me as ASHE.
The downside to this all now that i have tested both is that you cant find armaf anywhere because at the price it once was at $20.00 was a sure steal!!!!!

A good substitute for Chanel’s Allure Homme Sport and Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. I got mine for 20€/100ml as compared to the 100€/100ml for the Chanel’s, which i consider way overpriced.
Obviously the quality is a bit worse, but you get about 70% of Chanel’s quality for a fraction of the price.
This is my second Armaf fragrance, the first being Club de Nuit Intense, which is a very good Aventus clone and which i absolutely love.
In my opinion, De La Marque Brune is a good clone of the two Chanel’s and i highly recommend it.

This bottle is again in the back of my closet. I do like the fragrance but it’s the worst looking bottle of my colection (on a tie with Armaf Craze).

This is Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme more creamy and with a slightly better performance. I must admit this flask was forgotten and hidden in the back of my closet. Now it’s in the front row so that I may enjoy it in the last sunny days of this fall.
Edit: I wonder why so many reviewrs compare this frag to AHSE and nothing shows up in the Fragrantica box “this perfume is similar to”. I tried to state my opinion and nothing happens as well. Does Fragrantica has a censor for this type opinions?

I don’t know how to feel about this. The salty sea and citrus in the opening I do not get. Maybe it’s a bad batch or something. My gf said that it smelld like an old lady walked around in our apartmant.

opening is burst of aquatic sea notes with slightly sweetness, the pepper pretty strong on initial burst make this fragrance so masculine in the opening.
in the middle phase, the sweet notes start to shine while the aquatic note lingers on the background.
on my nose, i cant smelled it after a couple hour and the sillage seems nonexistant. but when my friends come over and sprit this juice on themselves, the projection was stellar.
it seems other people can smell it clearly, but not the wearer 🙁
    Scent: 8.5
    Longetivity: 8 (6-7hrs)
Projection: ? (sometimes i can smells it, but some other times seems like it doesnt project at all)
Sillage: 8.5 (other people can smells you easily)
good for daily uses, i think this could be worn on winter time, perfect on casual occassion.

This is Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme just without the mandarin opening. Like other Armaf’s, the atomiser is TERRIBLE and the choice of citrus used in the opening is so bitter it can be off putting at first. But give it time and it soon settles to unveil a beautiful creamy, slightly sweet and powdery mid. I get a slight fizziness with this fragrance as well. It kinda reminds me of those British sweets called Palma Violets. I have to agree with kylenicholson94 about the scent trail. This definitely fills a room without you knowing and will garner you compliments when you least expect it to. The longevity is decent on this one (5-6hours) and for the price (£20) you can’t go wrong! I wouldn’t take the listed note break down as gospel though as it differs from what’s stated on the Armaf website.

This is an Allure Homme Sport Extreme very accurate clone and with a lot more projection than what is shown by the other Fragrantiquer reviewers. Brune’s projection is bigger than Allures’s
Actually I find it better than AHSE because is creamier and smoother.
AHSE is fresher during the dry down while the Armaf fragrance is sweeter and powdery – the way I like it.
(edit)…. on the other hand….. I also find some similarities with Armani Code Ultimate for man. Does anyone have that impression?

Another top notch scent from Armaf. 3-4 hours strong projection, then skin scent. I’d wear for the same occasions as Dior Homme. Simply a great scent I’m really glad to have in my collection.
It has some citrus up top, lavender and marine top/mid, then iris, vanilla, sandalwood blend stays on for quite a while. My favorite part is the mid notes though. Really pleasant blend.
3 hours of good projection then basenotes are prominent as skin scent. Mostly I get a mixture of the Sandalwood creaminess, slight vanilla and Iris that stick around at about hour 4. This one is a good one. I will say that I wore it a few days to really appreciate it though. My first wearing didn’t wow me, but after giving it about 3 days I really appreciated and saw how great it worked for summer evenings. Not maybe the best Summer heat day scent, but summer nights are perfect for this guy.

Been wearing this for a while and it has definitely impressed people around me.
It somehow fills a room without you even noticing.
Very very similar to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme.
I think there’s something about the combination of notes used in this and Chanel that make this create a scent trail.
My barber and a co-worker both complimented me on this, not just complimented but asked me what I was wearing.
Of course I lied and said I was wearing Chanel….
    Worth checking out!

Very, very similar to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme. Not as good in the performance dept. but at 20% of the price…
Will report back after a bit of testing but so far, so good!

I love De La Marque Brune! I love the refreshing salty sea notes, which are quite prominent at the start, then plum, citrus and lavender and thyme (yum!), pepper and patchouli are noticeable, and make it a lovely herby earthy perfume. Then after a while, the vanilla, cinnamon and musk bring a beautifully creamy sweetness, then there’s the lovely cedar and sandalwood dry-down. Really lovely! I think it’s quite feminine really. Very sensual and strong though. Delicious!! My husband bought it, and he likes it a lot, and I tried it and….love it!!!

Nothing too great. Guys this almost diesel’s fuel for life in a different bottle maybe a tad better with the quality. It’s creamy white musk and vanilla in the dry down. This isn’t a popular choice and nothing very special.
