Creed’s Aventus has been cloned ad nauseam. Lots of Middle Eastern companies have made crappy copies, that people buy in the hope of getting the real thing, and they never ever deliver.
I am a proponent of buying the fragrance you want, rather than searching out inferior clones.
Panama 10 is in that sense peculiar. It’s very much an Aventus clone, but the quality is Creed level, and it’s a different take on Aventus.
There is no point in talking notes here. This smells like an un-smoked Aventus. Mancera’s Cedrat Boiseé is similar, but this has the opulence of Aventus.
I get a hint of barbershop as well. Not so much that it’s anisic, but there is a sense of restraint that Aventus doesn’t have.
To explain: I respect and like Aventus, but to me it always came across as a playboy’s fragrance. It is decidedly not distinguished or classy. It’s fun and playful. Personally I tend to go for classy scents like GIT. Panama 10 attempts to steer Aventus in a more restrained direction.
Unfortunately it doesn’t really work. Panama 10 is a perfectly decent Aventus clone, and one of the closest ones. But I’d rather just buy Aventus. Few other scents do what Aventus does, and I see no point in getting a substitute.
Longevity is great – 10-11 hours.
Rating: 6.5/10

Aventus made more green Wow!

My sample of this has just arrived. I must say this is pretty close to
Aventus, almost identical. Worth trying if you like Aventus and looking for a cheaper alternative.

I’m totally agree with @alfarom (just that I like it, but not love.)
Very similar to Aventus with better smell and price but less longevity and sillage…
This does not have pineapple but have gotten the same smell with the mix of green apple and lemon.
In the drydown, green apple is more prominent here than Aventus but is similar too.
Really this is a replica of Aventus so If you like Aventus, you must try this.
Longevity and sillage are low.
Scent: 6/10
Longevity: 5/10
Sillage: 4/10
UPDATE:
I’m seeing that this house is dedicated to copy other fragrances but at higher prices!!! (well, less in this case).
Daytona 10 = copy of Aventus, Panama 1924 = copy of Le Male, Millesime = copy of Declaration…
INCREDIBLE !!!! ORIGINAL THAT THEY ARE!!!! 😉

I’m not a fan of the fruity scents, but i think that Daytona is a very good structured scent; the opening is very nice with lemon and bergamot, but immediately came out the spicy-sweetness of pink pepper and green apple, that for me is the predominant note of this scent; the base note are “sweet woody notes”, patchouly (not strong, pheraps it’s to mitigate the sweetnes, also given from the musk).
It’s very similar to Creed’s Aventus, pheraps a little bit simpler, but less sweet, but the prices is cheaper…….and less predictable and easy.
Really a very good scent, more suitable in the cool-cold time, and for all the day.
I’ve forgetting, it’s a very long lasting fragrance…..and this is a real plus and quality!!!
Re Edit: Aventus on my skin is fruity only in the opening, but the evolution is quite different from Daytona: it’s more powdery and woody, while Daytona is more soft and sweet.
BEERCOM – :
Panama 1924 does Aventus and does it better and cheaper than Creed. I don’t like the original so I don’t see why I should like this one but Aventus fans should definitely check this out. Tremendous lasting power, great projection.
Rating: somehwere between 1 and 10 out of 10.

I tried it yesterday.
It’s very much similar to Creed Aventus, quite identical.
I didn’t test on my skin so i can’t tell you about longevity, but it seems quite better than creed…..much subtile.
The same opening (pineapple that doesn’t compare in description), the same drydown.
