This is lovely on me. The initial blast was pure lemon air freshner. But it has died dow to a fresh green floral. It is LOV flowers but also the leaves and a touch of sunshine. On me this is not a simple clean flower. It is a bed of LOV under a tree at the start of spring.

    Keyword: Garden
I notice many people do not like this perfume. I like it though. It smells like a garden of lilies. It is a green floral smelling fragrance. Its not exactly delicate, but its not loud either. It does not last a long time, but it does stick. Day is something you would wear, as the name suggests, on a day out, like a picnic, or a walk. If you want something for a festive occasion, or a party, try something else.

There must have been a problem at the factory!
I don’t hate it but it is NOT at all what I was expecting. The notes listed on this page are the same as on Sarabecca’s website so something is very wrong or this is a weird bottle. The fragrance in this bottle & what I am smelling, has the EXACT notes of the “Night” version – vetivert, patchouli, amber, lemon, bergamot, sage & ginger. I think there was a problem at the factory so buyer beware! I think they put “Night” fragrance in the “Day” bottles. I am not a fan of patchouli so this is very disappointing. I purposely avoided the “Night” version for that reason. The “Day” version would be my style. I love white flowers.
This reminds me of a man’s cologne splash. It has that citrus/patchouli/sage/vetivert thing going on & nothing much else. Flowers?! Well, they do not exist in this bottle. It is not a heavy scent & it lasts maybe 3 hours. I may wear it but I will wear it with my “Al Rehab Full” which is a beautiful jasmine – that might help perk it up & kill the “manly vibe”.
I bought this Eau de Parfum for $10 at TJMaxx which is about the right price – not worth more than that. And frankly, not worth any money since it is NOT the correct bottle/fragrance!

This is going to sound harsh.
I am not THAT hard to please when it comes to perfumes but I’m not sure that this should be called a perfume. And…no…it’s not because it’s a ‘natural’ perfume. I have enjoyed and smelled and made natural perfumes and have not disliked them as much as I dislike this. First of all, I have both Day and Night by Sarabecca. I adore the box/packaging and even the bottle is cute but for all the effort and money that was put into the brand, the actual perfume is offensive. Not just offensive to smell but the price (online it’s $58 for 1.7oz) is offensive as well for what you are getting. Luckily, I found both of my bottles for $9.99 each at TJ Maxx ( which is still too much to have paid, in my opinion.) Perhaps the juice is old or I ended up with a ‘bad’ batch? What I’m smelling is harsh lemon/lime/orange cleaner…I’m reminded of a ‘natural’ product I use to clean my countertops. Smells nice on my countertops but definitely not appealing on my skin. That’s all. It screams for a few minutes and then fades into a plasticy, sort of candy sweet citrus. Not even exciting enough to call “generic”. Another thing…and maybe there was a mix up with the bottles and that’s why it was so cheap…but..Day and Night smell EXACTLY the same to me. I have a pretty decent nose..not the best but not too shabby either. I feel so confident in this statement too that I should probably just leave this same review for Night and change the name. Lastly, there’s a really disturbing note after the initial, icky citrus dries down that is hard to describe. It’s NOT NATURAL smelling…kind of plastic-like but also reminiscent of really old, musty books ( not the good kind of musty-old-book smell…if you know what I mean.) Strangely, I get this same kind of smell from Margot Elena’s Dark line of perfumes…always wondered what that was. It’s really a shame that this perfume isn’t better…it looks like the whole package from afar but it really missed its mark. Kinda like a really good looking guy dressed to the hilt but when you get close enough to hear him speak, you realize he’s the missing idiot from the next village over.

Rarely do I say this about a scent;”Day” is horrible.
It opens with a very short lived nice green note, followed by medicinal/petroleum stink and a full bouquet of stale decaying white flowers. Definitely not delicate, romantic or charming as suggested by their press release.
The other scent in this line of two scents “night” is challenging, but wearable.

I wanted to like this one, but it just smelled very old fashioned, not in a good way. If you really love florals, you may like it, but sadly it just wasn’t me. I like the company’s story though.
