It took a few days but I am in love with this. I can’t stop sniffing my wrists when I wear it. The only trouble is that since I decided I love it, it seems to disappear almost instantly and the sillage seems non-existent. I don’t know if it’s the surprisingly hot and humid weather at the moment but it just seems to evaporate.
This is definitely a favourite, it is so soft and lovely, and I am actually a little obsessed with it. It is soapy and milky and clean and rich and delicious. It is an acquired taste but once you acquire it you will be hooked. I have ordered Dusk “I” to compare.
What makes it more perfect is that is is uncommon and completely bonkers, but it works so well.

It’s a milk that smells somewhat sweet and musky but more clean. Just hold your nose into a glass of milk 😉
Add to that the somewhat intense smell of lilies and a bit of fruity cedar and you’ve got a very interesting, though difficult concoction.
For me it was too soapy on my skin …

It’s just beautiful, I love the bottle so much and the box it came in and the fragrance is smooth and soft. I love it, I went for it because the cat’s eye bottle appealed to me and I was not sure what I’d think of the smell but the mix of woody and fruity with a sometimes powdery and yes, milky scent which I really think works. I just cannot stop looking at the bottle either. Love it.

now it is winter and I have to review again. In this colder time the scent is very suitible and cozy. This scent needs the wintertime for showing his good sites. Very nice. I am happy tried this again.

On me it gives honey effect with something else. The fragrance is rich and dark. 1-2 sprays are enough. I recommend it for evening wear or for cold weather. I was also impressed by the huge box the perfume is packed in )

In the first 3 seconds after spraying I catch a whiff of vanilla milk, gone in an instance. Then comes a sour but not unpleasant combination of smells that may have an adverse reaction for those sniffing this on an empty stomach). The red version (Dusk I) has drawn comparisons to Dior Hypnotic Poison, and while Dawn uses the same notes, albeit in different combination, I don’t smell a resemblance. There is, however, an echo of the controversial opening notes of Dior Poison: could it be the emergence of the plum? In the initial minutes, just as you’re getting on your coat, retrieving your purse, tugging on your boots, the notes seem to rise and fade with the movement of your body – the cool lily note one moment, then a few minutes later, a warmer vanilla-pastry accord, then a dark perverse plum, and so on. …. Three hours afterwards, a powdery lily-vanilla impression wafts from my skin. It has something of the character of Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. The fragrance gives up the ghost with smooth and cedary echoes. This is a quite perturbing scent, very good sillage, has a certain frosty elegance that will clash with an ingenuous or an earthy personality. Not safe for work! I’ll wear it on those occasions when I want to leave a subtle and subversive trail behind me.

I bought this as a blind buy because I saw it on sale greatly reduced. I was intrigued by the notes and although I was hoping to like it I was resigned to think that it was probably greatly reduced because noone liked it. How wrong could a girl be. Firstly the box is a beautiful satin lined creation – it really made me feel special opening it. The bottle is really gorgeous with a sexy charm attached at the nozzle to be removed before spraying, then replaced.
This really is a charming fragrance. I can’t say that the orange is there at all but what I got was a soft velvet like smell. I can definitely get the lily but where this can sometimes be an overpowering scent, here it is smooth- perhaps tempered by the milk? Although milk isn’t distinct it it rounding this fragrance off beautifully. The ploom is in the background just enough to give a slightly fruit-without-sweetness note. The longer I left this the more I could smell the cedar. But the whole feeling of this perfume is softness and smoothness. I think it is very well done.
I shall be wearing this when I want to feel sexy and alluring.
