Sour vetiver
Clear and direct, citrus, vetiver, slight ginger, sandalwood, and cedar as i can detect wood fillings as well. I believe this does describe the essence of Darwin’s cabin as the perfumer’s inspiration idea behind this fragrance.

Truly wonderful. The perfect balance between Penhaligon’s “English Fern” and Terre d’Hermes.

A beautiful woody extract.
We can say that it is a fight between cedar and vetiver, where the judge would be the grapefruit, giving a calming mood in the air with a fruity aromatic aroma, but just balancing everything.
What rules here are these two woods, cedar with a woody resinous touch dense and semi smoky earthy vetiver, gorgeous scent!

Every day scent…fresh and clean but there are many similar designer scents for much less money. I got this one in Paris while I was visiting.

Hard to describe Darwin. It’s not about single notes, it’s more about the whole composition.
It feels (and this is going to sound extremely weird) like a welcoming home. As if you stepped into a place and you feel right at home. Or like a favourite sweater.
Is delicate and slightly warm, woody. The grapefruit is perceptible but the whole fragrance is subtle.
This is so different from anything I’ve tried before. It feels right. Not an attention grabber or ultra modern, just a fantastic, cozy scent.

Darwin (Personajes Collection): Cedar, grapefruit, vetiver. Upon application it seems more on the masculine side, but dries down to something I would love to wear, especially on a cool summer night or in autumn, though it is certainly multi-seasonal. A true Unisex scent, Darwin opens with a very sharp green (vetiver) which is quickly tempered by a deep soothing Cedar, both floating in a vivacious sparkling undercurrent of a sublime grapefruit that hints at its lemony cousin. It is bold, earthy yet fresh & clean, and highly seductive. I cannot stop sniffing the back of my wrist. Medium throw, great longevity. This is on my “must buy” list.
