Something that reminds me of my grandmas clothet: wax lipstick and old iris-smelling stuff. Not for me.

It opens with a peppery note and serious chocolate vibe then gets fruity with a honeyed date dried fruit sweetness and a little floral then you get a little animalic barnyard oudy/musk gland smell mixed with leather; the drydown is complete animalic, barnyard skin scent oud; scent lasted on my skin more than 16 hours; in the almost final drydown it was very amber then it mutated into a sharper iris that was almost aldehydic

Great opening, unfortunately the orris note vanishes in 15 minutes, the perfume looses its richness and collapses in a generic woody base. Terrible structure.
Steveniox I totally agree with you.
Edit: I think the right way to approach this perfume is thinking it’s about woods, dry woods, not orris; if you expect orris you will be disappointed, but if you let your mind free to catch what it really is… well, beautiful woodsy creation.

I’ve tried this a few times. Poor Iris is buried beneath a thick layer of what I can only describe as bacon fat. Yes, that’s what it smells like to me!

wonderful opening of waxy iris, suggesting leather, crayons and creamy vintage lipstick, suspended above, and moving on too quickly to, a ‘meh’ powdery-fruity base with too much spiky white musk that frankly makes my nose wrinkle. longevity seems good, sillage marvelous to begin with but dies down quickly to relative ‘skin-scent’ levels.

well,I don’t understand the whole line. This and Chai are full of sadness, the sadness of dead things.I don’t detect any iris, any musk,I detect only a wrong experiment .Next,please.

    Glue for wallpaper, that smells.
Yes, bitter herbal liqueur and honey, old paper… If I have to be positive, but..
The estimators of this mess smell may love also armpit floured with talc.
If I dare to imagine an old wooden house with a dead found inside after years, I would give this Baruti odour.
    A total botteled ugliness .

Imagine aliens came to earth and were asked to make macarons. Not fully understanding what we humans eat, but knowing that most of it grows from the ground, they make balsam fir the main ingredient and throw in some iris and osmanthus too. You take the macaron, and it’s strange but somehow pleasant and actually fairly addictive. That’s Dama Koupa.

This fragrance is extremely addictive. It’s the sweet sister of “L’attesa” by masque as it has that floral sweetened factor added to the enormous iris but the iris in here is much weaker than the one in L’attesa, softer and more delicate, but it is THE Right dose as it mingles quite well with the rest of the crew specially the sweetened macaroons & the osmanthus beside the slight amber.
So far I can’t sense the musk but I can sense the woody notes as it is kept to minimal.
This one & “Chai” are the ones that stood for the whole line.

Absolutely love this dry-carrot-orris on a musk base. Unusual, modern, noncorformic, but high wearable.
    Longstanding with great sillage. Masterpiece.
Spyros is uncommonly talented – he hold the line eventhough each his perfume nas a own face.
