Description

The fashion house of Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Coty is launching a new limited edition of their Daisy perfume lines: the original Daisy from 2007, the refreshing vesrion Daisy Eau So Fresh from 2011 and the ethereal one Daisy Dream from 2014. The new flankers come in graduated bright pink bottles as Daisy Kiss, Daisy Eau So Fresh Kiss and Daisy Dream Kiss in early 2017.

Daisy Kiss is created by perfumer Richard Herpin of Firmenich. Its floral-fruity composition with a woody-musky background begins with the compound of honey pomelo, apricot nectar and violet. The heart of osmanthus, white peony and pink rose is accompanied by the base of cedar, ambrox and musk.

It is available as a 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

It’s so funny we all feel so different about a scent. I impulse bought a bottle of this at an airport. I also got Mon Guerlain too and it’s been six months and I’m using both, for different weather and reasons. What I like about this is that the opening sweetness isn’t too sweet, with hints of violet, maybe – maybe cucumber, then became floral with peony. Love the actual smell of wood underneath. Fresh apricots from a tree in my childhood smelled nothing like this.
It’s to me more of an iced tart strawberry violet infused water with light sugar and lots of flower flavor, mixed in some wood chips. Some prefer strawberry lemonade sweet, some prefer strawberry flavored cocktail, and some like liquor. This one is great for after a shower on a summer morning. Fresh, not too sweet. Don’t spritz too much – none of the Daisies lasts so might as well make it like men’s aftershave and plan for a change of ‘perfuming’ at noon. After all, I only spray for my nose so as long as I dig it.
Compared to other Daisies – the original is not as sweet but even more fresh, Daisy Blush has a weird musk mixed in something floral powdery I didn’t like as much. Daisy Dream is literally Daisy added the color blue, quite similar though. I also tried Daisy Dream Kiss in store. I just didn’t think it stood out, and sour, too.

Very fruity and feminine. Like all the “Daisy” perfumes, this carries a heavy violet note. I like it a lot and would buy it to occasionally wear on days when I wanna feel more youthful and wear pink (which almost never happens). My husband loved it. Said it smelled really nice. I definitely notice the apricot scent and that’s probably why I like this perfume…I love apricots. I won’t lie – this perfume is nothing extraordinary or unique. In fact, I feel like I’ve smelled it before in spite of it being a new release. It’s still very mild and pleasant which is a nice option to have in a perfume collection.

It’s Peony again, not Daisy. I like this one the least of the Kiss line fragrances.
It’s very bitterly fresh and quite ordinary.
I can’t tell, if there is a difference from the original Daisy or not.
Those screeching fragrances have become very popular these days, but it’s still not the one I would wear. A fresh scent can be mild too, this one hurts my nose.

Firstly you get a blast of a cucumber note, do not rely on the notes presented, but to your noses. Secondly it turns into a rosy peony absolutely faint scent. Something fruity too. Ozonic. Sits close to the skin and lasts very little time. Not worth the money in my opinion. You are not missing out.
As for Flora Gucci, The only thing they have in common is the peony. Nothing more than that. Flora is also higher in osmanthus, despite it not being realistically osmanthus.
    A no from me.

Out of all the daisy spring flankers ..this one is done well and I just got a bottle .Its much better than the kiss “eau oh fresh and that falls pretty flat. This daisy is fresh clean , and has a really lasting blend of fruits and with that…its the best since the original daisy! I may get a back up ..this is well done and great for summer. very crisp , fresh and no sour drydown. love!!

Nice fruity scent, nothing more and nothing less. I really like it. I can agree with the others that at first it’s a bit sour, but after a while, it’s fresh, girly, subtle. However, the WOW factor is not there.
What a shame. I love the bottle!

I wish I liked this. I starts out like bitter, watery grapefruit but then settles like peppery mildew. It takes a few minutes, but it’s starting to remind me of Flora by Gucci EDT, but a less elegant and more citrus version.

I’m glad to see these notes because the notes on the Sephora site make this sound like the original Daisy. Look forward to trying this and the other two Kiss editions out!
EDIT: I just tried out Daisy Kiss and ended up bringing home the large bottle. It starts out as a rather sour apricot upon first spray, but that soon fades into a a pleasantly surprising osthmanthus, peony and rose combination that sadly lasts only a few fleeting moments before it dries down into a typical fruity/floral melange. All in all, a nice summer twist to the original Daisy and I can see this becoming a signature office fragrance for the summer months ahead.
