Description

New elegant addition to the Daisy fragrance family comes in summer 2015 as Daisy Dream Forever, a new version of Daisy Dream fragrance from 2014. Daisy Dream Forever is inspired by endless blue sky, embodying youthful daydreaming and essential charm of a Marc Jacobs dream girl.

The scent retains the original composition, enhanced in Eau de Parfum concentration. It starts with an opulent fruity mixture of blackberry, pear and grapefruit. The heart includes flowers of blue wisteria, jasmine and fresh lychee. The base is made of strong blond woods.

The fragrance is available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Daisy Dream Forever was created by Alberto Morillas and Ann Gottlieb.

I am surprised by the other reviews for this one. It floats like a cloud around me, not heavy at all. I am thinking your skin type might be a factor in how it wears. I can smell the fruit but it’s very soft . It seems very feminine and gentle to me. I use light touch as I do with all perfume and it seems like a perfume a lady would wear.

This was my daily fragrance since it launched. I recently replaced it with something new, but I still like it and may repurchase if I see it for the right price. It can be pretty sweet for a hot climate like where I live, but otherwise I enjoyed it. I like blackberry and while it isn’t a strong blackberry note, it’s there and makes an otherwise boring floral a bit different. I did get asked what I was wearing several times, especially the first year after it was released. I think if you use a light hand this works for the office, but if you’re a heavy sprayer this may not be for you. It gets cloying if you spray too much.

sweet but not cloying, creamy, and breathtaking. This perfume is under rated. My brother had goosebump everytime he smells this perfume and i realize when wearing this,i got more attention from guys.

    Sweet floral
It lasts better than the Lola range
It’s nit thin and it’s not thick, it’s just fine.
At a good price this would be a nice option for a warm sweet floral.

Daisy Dream Forever is a playful fruity floral, quite different from Daisy Dream in terms of composition, at least in my opinion. The blackberry, litchi and pear notes are both fizzy and sweet on my skin, with the wisteria accord providing a pleasant floral softness.
Had I been a young girl again, this fragrance would have most likely found its way into my collection. Smelling it now in my late 20’s; I can appreciate it but I also find it quite juvenile.
I found its predecessor Daisy Dream much softer and more powdery on the skin, Daisy Dream Forever has a stronger throw and features more juicy fruit accords. I personally consider Daisy Dream to be more mature in comparison to this flanker.
Daisy Dream Forever has excellent sillage and longevity. The packaging is also prettier in person than it is in photos. I think it would make a lovely gift for a young teenage girl or a young woman who prefers fruity and/or sweet scents. Marc Jacobs can be very hit and miss with me, but I am pleased to say that Daisy Dream Forever is very much a hit.

My partner bought me this last year as a birthday gift. I love it, smells sweet and last all day. It can get a bit strong at times, so it’s not an everyday scent, more for a night out. I mostly smell the BlackBerry. The bottle is beautiful.

It gives me headache everytime i tried to be nice to it.. Too strong to me 🙁 regret this blind purchased.. But the bottle is lovely

I really like Daisy Dream Forever—hardly surprising since to my nose it smells like a toned-down, slightly more vanilla-y version of Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie, which I adore <3 however, I already own Feerie and don’t need a near-dupe (fortunately, the DDF 4ml mini edp I snagged off eBay cost <$5, so my teenage daughter will be getting it)
if you love the berried-floral scent of Feerie but find it too pricey, consider DDF as a more economical substitute 🙂

Prefer the smell of daisy dream edt ,because this is just lacking in kick and cannot pick out many of the notes at all,it’s got a soapy edge I don’t enjoy ,too many of the notes get lost in a poorly made composition

  10. :

Something seems to be missing in this fragrance. It may be incompatible with my skin as it just seems incomplete. The beginning for me is very soapy which then gives way to the fruit. Most noticeably pear. Then…. Nothing.

  11. :

disappointed because it’s nothing like the wonderful dream toilette, but smells beautiful mixed with the original daisy toilette

Truly is a dream. Real when I spray it. Divine to experience and then evaporates into nothing within an hour. Can’t be spraying it on every hour.

Just like almost every Marc Jacobs perfumes, love the scent, hate the longevity 🙁

Kind of wondering what to hit like or dislike for this one, i got this scent blindly after i got the daisy dream perfume and now i think i don’t like it much but i will still give it a try again and then decide.
    For now 6/10

I have a soft spot for MJ fragrances. Original Daisy was one of my favorites when it came out, but I didn’t keep up with any of the flankers. I happened to spray Daisy Dream Forever as I was waiting at Macys to be run up, and decided to get it.
The opening is too fruity and sweet for me. It is literally like a blast of Juicy Fruit gum, where I can’t distinguish any particular fruit, but it just teeters on the edge of toothache.
I would say an hour in is where Dream Forever starts getting good. The light musk starts peeking out, and it turns into a soft warm fragrance. Stays fairly close to the skin, but does last all day.
Not offensive, and probably wouldn’t buy this again, but it is decent enough for casual Fridays in the office or for weekend errands. The bottle is cute – it only comes in one size (1.7 oz), and there are no accompanying body products.

The opening notes of this scent is so fruity and ripe i love it! It’s the best part of the fragrance, ripe lychee and blackberries! The middle notes and drydown are pretty much just florals. But this scent during the spring/summertime is very nice not too strong and not too light.

  17. :

    4 out of 5

I genuinely adore this perfume. It is light and fresh, floral and fruity. Inoffensive and great for office wear. I’m wearing it right now and it’s been about 6 hours since I applied and its starting to dry down into a soft sweetness. I have no discernible notes but that is probably my amateur-ish nose.

  18. :

This is the kinda Sillage MJ’s perfumes should be! It’s soft but not too watered down and doesn’t seem to fade quickly. This scent reminds of fruity pear, citrus and Litchi flavored chewing gum or fruit juice with some wisteria notes to balance out the sweetness. If you like MJ Daisy dream but hate how weak it is, grab this

  19. :

    5 out of 5

At first spray, I just loved this. I immediately smelled the blackberry and the wisteria. Soft, feminine, not at all overpowering or heavy. IMO, it’s close to Daisy Dream, and is nothing at all like Daisy. However, the drydown on me just turned to powder. It wasn’t unpleasant, but I didn’t like it well enough to spend the money on it. I can see this working very well on someone else though.

I haven’t smelt either Daisy or Daisy Dream but this perfume is beautiful.I got this perfume as a sample size with another perfume I had ordered
It’s light and fruity but smooth and not sickly
I can smell Lychee blackberry and woodiness in this and its just a beautiful summer scent, very reminiscent of Escada fragrances
The fruitness I find doesn’t last forever, it quickly becomes something more moderate but its nice
To me it smells amazingly like Escada’s 2004 Island Kiss which I was ecstatic about as that fragrance has sentimental value – it was my first perfume and I still have it but it had begun to turn and I wanted to find a replacement.
I believe I have found one now; it’s no exactly the same but on me it’s close enough
The lasting power is decent but I will say that for the price it could have had more sillage and longevity

  21. :

I love this flanker! I don’t care for original Daisy Dream, or even Daisy Dream Blush…but this one? Woody blackberry and litchi? Sign me up! I think the bottle is cute, too.
But, like 90% of all Marc Jacobs scents, this lasts about 2 hours tops on me. Far too expensive for it to just be of body spray quality. I will use up the small amount that I have and just not repurchase, it’s just not worth it. No longevity whatsoever.
And that’s just too bad, because when you smell as amazing as this one does, you really want it to stick around.

So far, i love all of Marc jacobs perfumes….his perfumes are very feminine….daisy Dream forever is no different….its like something you could get from bath and body works…..in fact you could use a lot of different bath and body works body washes/lotions with daisy dream forever…its very fruity, sweet and fresh…i think its a crowd pleaser….my boyfriend loves it

  23. :

I got this as a gift and on first spray it smelt like diluted blackberries. But patience pays off as around twenty minutes later, I got blackberries that were undiluted with some litchi in there, a slight hint of wisteria too.
I sprayed again the next morning, I got the most gorgeous smell of juicy, luxurious litchi! I can picture wearing this to a party or other social gathering.
I’d definitely try this out as it is a beautiful scent.

This is by far my favorite Marc Jacobs fragrance. I think this one is for shelias but not for mature girls. I tried the original Daisy Dream as well and this one is obviously stronger. It’s fruity at the beginning and then turns into a sweet scent bit by bit.

  25. :

Smelled this tonight….and while I love most MJ fragrances, I find that typically they have very poor longevity and even poor siliage! This however I find stuck around a while, mind you I was shopping around but I could still easily smell it a few hours later! I love this, it is very pretty and very girly. If you like the daisy dream but find it light and a little too sweet then this is perfect for you! Can’t wait to find a bargain hahaha

  26. :

Similar to the first Daisy Dream, the only difference is that its predecessor is more tropical, surely because of coconut.
Daisy Dream Forever is sweet floral scent, nice, but that’s it. Nothing extra.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

This is a stronger version of Daisy Dream and it is very long lasting on my skin. Definitely a summer fragrance and to me this is better suited for teens young women in their 20’s.

I have disliked all the Marc Jacob scents. Way too sweet and they all turn to sour powder on my skin. I was looking for a new scent, passing by the Marc Jacob scents on my way around, and someone sprayed this. I at first thought surely someone must have put a tester back in the wrong section. I smelled Tart blackberries and soft, aromatic woods. I love a sour blackberry note and my skin does amazing sweet and spicy things with woods. I tried some on. At first whiff, it was way too sweet, and, disappointed but vindicated in my dislike for Marc Jacobs I purchased something else. Then, in the car, I was surrounded by sour blackberries, warm and warm and spicy wood and a creamy slightly sweet scent that I think is the lichee. It was amazing. After a while I smelled the lilac too. I love lilac, one of my favorite flowers, but perfumes with that note are way too floral. My skin seems to amp up sweetness, so spicy and woody fragrances get sweeter and floral or sweet fruity scents turn into a sickly sweet cough syrup mess. I finally get a little lilac I can wear! I was more than happy with my purchase of Giorgio Armani Si toilette but couldn’t stop thinking about Daisy Dream Forever, so I had to go buy it. It was sold out everywhere! I finally found a bottle at a makeup store for slightly less than department store and am wearing it now, basking in the sour blackberry warm wood. I can’t wait for summer I bet this is amazing in the summer.

I decided to give this fragrance another try for less than half of the department store prices, for Christmas.
I’m the one who gave a horrifying review when I bought my first bottle and sent it back!
I just unwrapped it and thought I’d try it. I used a very very light spritz on my wrists and neck.
It’s a pretty sweet and a much heavier scent than Daisy Dream is.
    So far as good.
I bought a new Travalo rollerball type atomizer for it to dispense just a small amount! I’m so thrilled that I did!
I notice the lack of coconut in this scent variation. Although this is the first time since I opened it on Christmas Day.
You will just needs a very little bit to go a very long way!
I’m so glad to give a much better review!

I don’t get any coconut from this.. just very sweet watery fruit.. its really just a sweeter, stronger version of Daisy Dream. I don’t like because I find fruity scents boring

  31. :

    5 out of 5

I liked this a lot when I first sprayed it as it had a strong coconut smell and I LOVE coconut. On dry down, however, it smells a lot like Flowerbomb or La Vie Est Belle, only not as overpowering.

Violets and coconut. Nice but not spectacular.

I must admit there’s something I liked better about the last year’s edition.
This one is a little stronger and fruitier version, but it doesn’t have that airy freshness to it, as the other one did. At least not that much.
I think it’s still quite nice and easy-going, light and inoffensive scent. Sweet, there’s sugary blackberry jam scent in it.

    Sofisticated bubble gum scent
    Spring time……Summer time
But like all fruity fragrances it doesn’t last long !
    U’ll have to respray
    Cute bottle

I am absolutely in love with this fragrance! THIS is what Daisy Dream should have been (which bored me to death and was too light). This is juicy, rich, warm and elegant. I love wearing it to work or just on a hot summer day. I am so happy they up’ed their game in the Daisy Dream project! Finally a MJ-fragrance i LOVE and the bottle is just gorgeous!

This smells exactly like juicy blueberry pie to me! How wonderful and delicious!! I love the “blue”ness of scent that is created. I’m sure that’s helped along by the rich blue of the bottle, but it’s a fun magic nevertheless.
When first sprayed, Daisy Dream Forever smells similar to Daisy, ozonic and light – then it swells into that beautiful deep berry-blue. Very sweet, very very juicy. A tiny bit warm from the jasmine and wood, but also a tiny bit cool from the aquatic fruits. It does warm increasingly as it settles, deepening into a rich berry pie scent. As others have pointed out, it’s not much like Daisy Dream. It’s much stronger and fruitier – easily a notch more intense than most current Marc Jacobs releases.
Surprisingly, when I sprayed it on my skin, it only lasted about two hours before I was left with only a very, very light trail of where it had been. Unexpected, given its previous intensity, so I went back to the counter the following day to test it on paper. On the test strip, it stayed richly fragrant for more than 8 hours, so I wonder if it was just something about my personal chemistry that made it disappear.
Admittedly, I was just drawn in by Daisy Dream Forever’s dreamy blue bottle, and all in all I think it’s a surprisingly rich, delicious, feminine fragrance – heaven if you love the scent of berries. Perfect on a hot summer day, or for summer pie dreaming in the middle of winter.

I got some samples from my local store yesterday and it’s as I feared, this scent just doesn’t last on my skin. BTW, no fruity scents do. So disappointed as I do love the original Daisy and Daisy Forever and this one too by the way, it just doesn’t love me. If you love the Daisies, you’ll love this one too, although it smells similar enough that you could wait until your bottle of Daisy Dream ran out before buying this one or, like me, wait til the inevitable gift sets are reduced in price after Christmas.

  39. :

fruits and jasmine are the most prominent notes, very sweet fragrance, i will be adding this to my collection, i love the bottle too.

Got Forever for a great price, thanks eBay, but I’m not in love with it one bit. It’s pretty boring stuff if I’m being honest. Been there, smelled that a million times before. It smells like sweet candy/fruit. There’s a tiny bit of warmth, but it’s microscopic. Any development is pretty nonexistent. And for an edp, it doesn’t last very long. It’s dead in minutes on me, unfortunately. I can’t believe I like the original Dream more, since I think it’s pretty dull as well, but I really do. It tops Forever with ease. At least the edt is bright and juicy. It just has more life to it. I’ll keep testing Forever, but MJ did a much better job with the Daisy edp, IMHO. Here’s hoping Violet and Decadence are brilliant! Haha! Totz wishful thinking on my part.

  41. :

This is actually pretty, it has more character than the previous one, I don’t find it juicy , more like a floral with warmth…lovely!! Only thing it doesn’t open up much, but this is quite pretty, the woods and floral notes make it more grown up, but in a great way, this is one I would definitely buy and wear!! A nice break from the usual fruity flankers, quite a nice surprise!!

  42. :

Smelled this on my girlfriend and I quite like it. The pear note is very prominent. Like a very tasty ripe and sweet pear. Generally a very sweet an fairly fresh scent. Not so much for women over 35-40 though.

  43. :

I have this and love it. The original daisy dream smelled just like all of the other Marc perfumes. They are all aquatic fruity floral BORING BORING BORING. Let’s just say this is the ONLY one I will actually purchase and use.

  44. :

Ah. Misses the beauty from the original daisy dream. better longevity yes, but without that spark, why do I want it to last?

I got a chance to test this perfume and it was not what I expected. As it started to dry down it reminded me of Bond No 9 Chinatown. This is much cheaper that Bond for sure. It takes a bit getting used to. Glad to see that Marc Jacobs has evolved to an entirely new scent.

  46. :

This is a gorgeous fresh burst of spring and summer!!
Doesnt remind me of Daisy Dream, but Forever is def stronger. Also reminds me of fresh laundered bed sheets.
Sorry to be so vague but it reminds me of something. Im smelling along the lines of Eau So daisy if my memory doesn’t fail me. It is strong on my wrist.

Oh My God! IN A BAD WAY!!!!
This was a nightmare that got even worse than I thought it would!
My partial review I gave here yesterday started the beginning of a 12 hour mess and migraine full of horrifying pain!
This has NO LIKENESS AT ALL with Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream.
First finding out that this fragrance was going to even exist, was what I expected to be an amped up, longer lasting version of Daisy Dream!
    It’s NOT!!!
Daisy Dream Forever, was a horrible SUPER HEAVY scent that seemed 40 like it was 50 years OLD, long degradate, left in an attic drawer that someone definitely forgot about!
NOT ONE NOTE in this fragrance of Daisy Dream Forever, could be recognized in any way!
I had a heavy duty multiple unidentifiable florals and base notes so heavy, that I can’t even identify that screamed at me! No fruity top notes, none of the identifiable floral notes, if there was lychee, then it was mixed with and unnoticeable either!
It gave the most wicked headache of my life, and I hoped that it would change over time like many other fragrances I currently have, especially the Daisy Dream EDT spray! I like fruity florale and I really hoped this would be more intense being an EDP instead, but it WASN’T!
I had to get 91% Isopropyl alcohol and cotton squares to scrub the fragrance off of me! It killed my skin because it’s not used to that super drying out! It did finally come off, but I was SO Shocked and So Disappointed!
I’m lucky that I can return it! I didn’t want to be stuck with my wishes of what was supposed to be my “Signature Scent!”
I like Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, Tocca Simone, Jimmy Choo Blossom, and Versace Bright Crystal Absolu. Daisy Dream EDT is my favorite of its kind because it’s very different!
If you like Daisy Dream EDT, you will probably NOT like this at all!
Save your $95.00! Get another scent you love! I hope this helps SOMEONE WHO sooo wanted this to Be The END ALL BE ALL Fragrance!
It just isn’t and won’t be, either.

    I literally just got this!
Daisy Dream Forever EDP 1.7 oz.
I just sprayed it on my pulse points and I’m not sure just quite yet how to describe it!
It’s very much stronger/heavier than Daisy Dream.
DDF is an EDP, while Daisy Dream is an EDT.
I don’t know because I smell the florals and the white woods base note. I’m not smelling the blackberry, Pear, and grapefruit! The lychee is very strong as a sweet note.
I wish I sprayed it on lighter than I did.
I can’t wait to have it develop further….so I can give more information and details!
We’ll see!!! Crossing my fingers to give more details!
I have been dying to get my hands on this fragrance for at least two months or so!
I truly love Daisy Dream EDT!!!
The fruity notes in that are so incredible to me! I wish that was available as an EDP or Parfum.

So excited for this! I loved Daisy Dream but it didn’t last long on my skin as it was EDT but since this is EDP I’m hoping it has good longevity!
