Cuir de Chine is a blend that swings between love and hate. It’s like a thing you love to do but then you remember that it wasn’t as good as it used to be! that’s Cuir de Chine, and i am completely sure it’s because of the overdosed clary sage. It’s just overly used in here in away that made it smell like seaweed, and it’s overcoming the tobacco & the osmanthus which makes the blend quite awful! i can sniff the jasmines, tobacco, and osmanthus underneath but that dominant sage is just horrible & ruining almost everything.
At first i did detected a urine note for a certain while, then the sage came running on a highway. If there is any note that i extremely dislike besides the mint in fragrances, then it’s clary sage.
