Description

The skin avidly soaks up the humours, luxuriantly moistened by tiny streams following the winding trails of mango, pineapple, guava, apple blossoms. Among millions of creatures, the most radiant is the one whose appearance is uncontaminated like a Yanomami tribe, its heart a bouquet of exotic flowers, about to carry as a gift to the stone altar its scents of blackcurrant and green leaves, as far as they can go.

The eager search of mankind for every kind of gold, whether yellow, white or black, has not deprived this creature of its natural charm. The animal and vegetable worlds clash under the gracious auspices of the vetiver and the cedar, which responds to the milky notes like a distant drum. Screams bounce back from the tree trunks, accompanied by candied fruits and soft musk. The greatest green space on Earth deserves such an inspiration. It is time to take flight, like a butterfly of a species not yet classified.

Cruz del Sur II is available from September 2017 in 50ml Eau de Parfum flacons.

Smells like a fruit cocktail, nice but i dont feel compelled to wear it or ever sniff it again maybe in summer ill try it again to give it a fair chance.

You really can pick out the cream-like milk note in this, it almost smells like yoghurt poured over freshly picked mango and pineapple.

To me, it smells of a very realistic mango. There is a waxiness to it, and paired with the mango, it reminds me of a candle – I’d love it as a room/linen spray but cannot say I’ll be grabbing for it too often. Certainly unisex, possibly leaning more towards feminine.

Although I agree it leans toward the feminine side, this fragrance is brilliant! It´s kind of a frutish Dhajala, another Xerjoff masterpiece.
    Impressive fragrance!

I agree with reviews that say it is a very linear mango fragrance. However, it’s so yummy. The first day I tried it on I’ve closed my eyes and had a picture of deep blue sea, sun and a white yacht in front of me. Very pleasant smell for summer. Good quality but not very long lasting.
Update: I did buy a full bottle and I don’t regret it. This fragrance puts a smile on my face and brightens my day. It sits close to skin but I can still smell it on myself after 4 hrs. Love at first sniff ❤️ ❤️❤️

The most authentic mango you’ll ever smell but sadly the only note as well. I was waiting for other notes to kick in but was really struggling to pick them up and you really have to dig your nose in to catch something other than mango.
I happen to love mango and would have ideally wanted it only in the opening but I must admit that it becomes too much even for me. It becomes a boring fragrance after 30 min.

Gregk is right – it’s that Thai mango rice sweet… that and/or a mango icerceam lollipop.
And that’s all it is; it never changes.. it just slowly becomes weaker.
Xerjoff really are failing to impress me in any way shape or form.
I smelled this looking for a new summer scent – this would be a poor choice. Sweet scents heat up in the sun and you would likely smell like a big yellow overripe mango… nasty!

It’s a Thai Dessert. Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk and Mango..minus the rice. Quite feminine. It has the same vanilla as Xerjoff’s Ivory Route, and a similar blending, except the sandalwood was swapped out with fruit and floral notes.

I’d say I get more guava and mango in the opening than pineapple and that is a massive positive…I love a tropical, fruity perfumes and I was waiting for Xerjoff to give me the best I’d ever had, transporting me to a paradise…but Cruz del sur II doesn’t quite pull it off. I’m not sure what it is? The quality is undoubtedly there but no ‘shade’ could be the issue here, this beach needs a palm tree. To say it smells like a glade home fragrance is a little unfair, Cruz del sur II does have a great complex opening. The milky, vanilla base is interesting and does feel like a positive ‘milk’ note, but equally comes off as coconut against those tropical fruits. After they die it’s a very feminine, soft and one dimensional, creamy powder of a fragrance with a lot of pastel, exotic floral notes coming through. It’s not for me.

Smells like a Glade Hawaiian Breeze air freshener… That’s literally the first scent that came to mind upon opening my sample. I partially understand why people are swooning over this fragrance, it’s easy to like because it’s similar to inexpensive tropical, floral fragrances one might find at bath and body works. A simple tropical fruit bomb fragrance with some white florals, mosty apple blossom, and sandalwood with a lactonic effect should not be this expensive.

Opens bright and true of surprisingly realistic pineapple and mango! Juicy goodness. Quickly within an hour softens to a milky fruit. The drydown is milky mango fruit in a wooden bowl.

Take a bowl with a mix of fresh fruits like strawberries, apples and pineapples. Then pour a light cold vanilla saus over it. It has a sweetness, but there is a freshness which balance the juice. First impression is very good and unique. High quality.

I bought a decant from Lucky Scent. Worst thing ever. Smelled like vomit and literally made me nauseous.

smell like Elegantes Heart from Elegantes.
This is the most beautiful and ethereal fruity scent I have ever smelled, like a crystalline and magical lake that reflects sparkles of the sunlight coming through the forest.(Well Sergio went to Amazon where he got the inspiration from)
This is a fragrance that would touch you at a soul level.
