Bitter, brackish and bracing like a slap to the face. Tenacious furniture polish citrus and stringy brown weeds. One of the meanest, stingiest and least generous scents I have ever worn. It’s like the pitiable, hateful, thin-lipped character in Jane Eyre that revels in cutting young Elizabeth Taylor’s gorgeous hair out of sheer spitefulness. I would sell it on Ebay but I can’t be that mean to people. There’s nothing here for me to like, sorry.

This is a very grassy bouquet, so in a sense it is very true to its name. Think of a wild overgrown field of weedy flowers. Unfortunately, this is too green for me. At a certain distance I detect something pleasant but overall I find this headache-inducing. Unless I can find some way to layer it, this will likely be tossed.

I have a fairly old, vintage bottle. Tart, somewhat bitter, citrus lavender. Herbal (basil, thyme) undertones with something vaguely sweet/musty/animalic in the base (musk and/or ambergris.) Reminds me a bit of Eau du Sud with a lavender note added.
