Description
The company Bill Blass together with license company First American Brands Inc, created Couture fragrant collection inspired by design, creations and fabrics of Blass dresses. It is interesting that motifs on the bottles are the same as those on fabrics used to create luxurious dresses, including yellow, grey, red and blue motifs of the collections for spring, autumn and resort 2008.
The first four fragrances of the collection were named Couture 1, Couture 3, Couture 6 and Couture 7. All of them were created in close cooperation with Prabal Gurung, woman designer of the brand Bill Blass.
Couture 1 includes aromas of tuberose, mandarin, peach and orange blossom. It was created by Pierre-Constantin Gueros, and the bottle is decorated with black and white motifs with discrete, charming yellow roses.
All four editions are available as 75 ml EDP, with a retro atomizer as another decoration on the gorgeous bottles. These are made of glass and transparent from one side. The other two sides feature carved motifs which can be found on the brand’s older editions.
The nose behind this fragrance is Pierre-Constantin Guéros.

I hate to leave a negative review but I feel obligated to warn anyone that might come across the same deal that I did ($8 for a 1.7 oz bottle EDP) on Amazon. (I can’t speak to it from any other sellers, but judging from this instance I would recommend trying before buying or at least getting a return guarantee.) The juice has literally NO scent. I was not expecting much at that price, but all I can smell is a little alcohol when wet, once dry there is absolutely no smell at all. I tried it on both skin and paper just to be sure, nothing. I am looking into returning it now. Shame, because the bottle and packaging are so nice, but last thing I need is another bottle of perfume that just takes up space.

This is a beautiful, citrusy tuberose. As Babydoll77 says, it is feminine and elegant. It is actually very inexpensive for such a lovely perfume. The only negative for me is that it’s staying power and sillage aren’t good.
Babydoll77 gives a marvelous review if all it’s good qualities.

This is by far one of THE most feminine and elegant perfumes I have ever had! Think along the lines of YSL Paris, Chanel no. 5, etc. This smells florally vintage without being old, powdery, smooth and just perfectly refined yet delicate enough not to give those around you headaches/nosebleeds. I’m no expert, however, I can not think of any other perfume that smells like this one! It’s truly a treasure so if you enjoy elegant, mature fragrances, then you definitely need to add this gem to your collection ♥
