Description
Colorful fragrance collection from Kenzo – Kenzo Couleur was launched in the spring of 2013. The collection initially included two fragrances: Couleur Kenzo Pink and Couleur Kenzo Yellow. It is now joined by the new Couleur Kenzo Violet. This fragrance is available from March 2014.
Couleur Kenzo Violet is a juicy floral – fruity fragrance of purple and violet ingredients. It begins with notes of blueberry, leading to the floral heart of violet and the base made with frozen black currants. The perfume is designed by Jean Jacques.
The bottle is decorated with the letter K, with the box showing legendary flower that was designed by Serge Mansau in 1982. The fragrance is available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I am wearing this lovely smell at the moment. The longevity is upto 8 hours on my skin. The silage is bit poor; like 30 cm. This is a very soft fruity smell and the sweet sour scent of berries is very dominant, it lasts through all three notes of the perfume.

I like little weird fruity/sweet fragrances like this. When I first spray it is kind of intense. Black Current or Red Current is the first thing I get hit with along with violet and something kind of jammy. I do not smell blueberry but I want to. I don’t get too much powder. This is better in summer but I have not tried in the winter so I can’t be sure. I see people complaining about longevity but it lasts a couple of hours on me. I swear I smell lemon.

It’s difficult to find reviews for this little one (other than a few french blogs) so when I saw it on sale I decided to blind buy it. The reviews you see here are spot on – Kenzo Violet is sweet, light, fresh and has a strong blackcurrant note. When first applied it’s sweet and strong but in 30 minutes it’s barely there on my skin anymore. But it’s alright, I don’t always want to make a statement with my perfume.
I love black currant. This perfume reminds me taking a shower. Probably because black currant is a common ingredient for bath products here.
Violet is innocent and sweet and blackcurranty and too shy to stay in your precence for too long. But it cheers me up and I enjoy the short happyness it gives.
I also adore the bottle. It’s a simple styled beauty.

I am surprised how great it is. I wasn’t expecting much of it, because Kenzo’s scents are not my big favorites. But this one is great.
I can sense black currant notes and blueberry notes.
And I think this is the nicest violet scent ever. So soft, light and sweet.
Very pretty!

Nice fragrance for spring, it’s fresh and light, yet gourmand. You will love it if you like Black currant/Blueberry , for me the strongest was black currant. You can really smell those fruits along with violet, the color of the bottle reminds all the notes in it. On the other hand, this perfume is very light and inoffensive, after a few minutes you can barely smell it… Maybe it will depend on people but the smell is so light here ! Anyway, I really like it for the smell and notes, and hope Kenzo will continue with these Kenzo colors perfume ! I think it’s perfect for spring or hotter weather.

This fragrance is really lovely, my favorite from the Couleurs collection yet! Really sweet and soft, although didn’t last on my skin for a very long… Have to try it again. Yay for Kenzo!
